  • Patent number: 11662047
Abstract: A system and method of use thereof to produce pipe connections to conduits which have been remediated using a liner. A pipe clamp is attached after a bore has been made and is secured with a clamping strap, for example. A pipe connection adapter with a flange collar and a seal arranged thereon is introduced from the inside of the pipe. An anti-rotation device between the pipe clamp and the pipe connection adapter ensures that the latter assumes a precisely defined position, such that a flange collar, with a shape corresponding to the intersection curve of the conduit/bore, provides a seal on the liner exactly on the edge of the bore. Connection can also be made from the outside of the conduit.

  • Patent number: 11655923
Abstract: A pipe coupler is capable of preventing a fluid flowing along pipes from coming into direct contact with the pipes made of metal materials, a body, and tie rings, thereby preventing corrosion of the pipes. The pipe coupler is also capable of preventing pipes, even if the pipes made of different kinds of materials are connected, from being indirectly connected to each other by way of a fluid flowing along the inside of the pipes, thereby preventing electric corrosion of the pipes caused by the micro current contained in the fluid. The pipe coupler is also capable of absorbing dimensional differences between the pipes having different sizes.

  • Patent number: 11530765
Abstract: A sealed joint assembly for transmitting high temperature and high pressure fluid between adjoining ducts in, for example, an aircraft bleed air system, includes a gimbal ring and two annular clevises. Each clevis includes a pair of axially-extending lobes that each includes a bore hole extending therethrough. The bore holes of the clevis lobes may each align with a respective bore hole formed within the gimbal ring, through which a pin may be inserted to couple the clevises to the gimbal ring. The clevises and gimbal ring may be formed using additive manufacturing, to produce component geometries and topologies that reduce the overall weight of the joint assembly while maintaining or improving its structural integrity. For example, the clevis lobes may include a plurality of gaps, such that the remaining material forms a shear web. The gimbal ring may also include strut or truss networks to enhance structural integrity.

  • Patent number: 11525531
Abstract: A pipe segment having an insulated electrical conductor includes a first electrical contact disposed at one end of an electrical conductor on an interior of the pipe segment from a male threaded connection on one end to a female threaded connection on the other end of the pipe segment. A second electrical contact is on the other end of the insulated electrical conductor. The first contact makes electrical connection with the second contact in an adjacent segment when the male connection on one segment is engaged to the female connection on the adjacent segment. A seal disposed on an interior of an insulating layer on an interior wall of each respective pipe segment provides a space beyond the end of the seal to enable inward flexure of the seal under pressure such that lubricant extruded by connecting the male threaded end and the female threaded end is pressure relieved.
