  • Patent number: 11436019
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are described herein that enable execution of a large AI model on a memory-constrained target device that is communicatively connected to a parameter server, which stores a master copy of the AI model. The AI model may be dissected into smaller portions (e.g., layers or sub-layers), and each portion may be executed as efficiently as possible on the target device. After execution of one portion of the AI model is finished, another portion of the AI model may be downloaded and executed at the target device. To improve efficiency, the input samples may be divided into microbatches, and a plurality of microbatches executing in sequential order may form a minibatch. The size of the group of microbatches or minibatch can be adjusted to reduce the communication overhead. Multi-level parallel parameters reduction may be performed at the parameter server and the target device.

  • Patent number: 11431567
Abstract: Some organizations have a deployed and functional “controllerless” EVPN VxLAN Fabric in their data centers. Eventually, however, the organization may deploy a controller within the network. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes configuring a controller to communicate with each of a plurality of elements in a network; determining, by the controller, an initial operational state of the network; translating, by the controller, the initial operational state of the network to an intent-based configuration; pushing, by the controller, the intent-based configuration to the network to reconfigure each of the plurality of elements in the network in a manner consistent with the intent-based configuration; determining, by the controller and after pushing the intent-based configuration, an updated operational state of the network; and comparing, by the controller, the initial operational state of the network with the updated operational state of the network.

  • Patent number: 11431665
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein provide dynamic permissions for controlling messages directed to a presenter of a communication system. For example, during a presentation of an online meeting, a system may selectively permit private messages to be sent to a presenter from designated participants. The private messages sent from the designated participants are displayed to the presenter in a manner that does not allow the other participants to see the messages. For instance, if the presenter is sharing a screen from a computer, the system can determine a set of permitted users allowed to send messages to the presenter. The system configures permissions to cause the messages to be displayed in a manner that allows the presenter to view the messages along with their presentation content, while restricting or suppressing the display of the messages to other non-permitted users. The system restricts the non-permitted users from sending messages to the presenter.

  • Patent number: 11425211
Abstract: Provided herein are implementations to sign files via a publish-subscribe message service. In particular, a payload extractor receives, from a message broker via a publish-subscribe message service, a new file event. The message broker receives messages from publisher components and routes the messages to subscriber components based on content of the messages. The payload extractor extracts a payload of the new file and then sends, via the message broker, a signing request with the payload (and metadata) to a signing service. The signing service sends a signed notice with a signature (and metadata), via the message broker, to a signature inserter, which inserts the signature into the new file. Such a configuration provides a secure and scalable signing architecture with decreased network traffic.

  • Patent number: 11388047
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein improve existing systems by receiving, by a packet processor from a control node of the communications network, a request to program operations for processing data packets, the request received with opaque data comprising a state of the control node. The packet processor stores the operations and the opaque data in a data store of the packet processor. The packet processor receives from the control node a subsequent request to retrieve the opaque data. The packet processor sends to the control node the operations and the opaque data that were stored in the data store of the packet processor. The opaque data is not stored in the control node.

  • Patent number: 11381537
Abstract: An email message delivery system is described that provides a fast and reliable managed email delivery service using MTAs and proxy servers. An email message is selected by an MTA for processing. The MTA determines a sender and an intended recipient associated with the email message. The MTA then identifies a pool of usable source internet protocol addresses for the email message based on the sender and selects a particular source IP address from the pool. The MTA then identifies a particular proxy server that is configured to handle the selected particular source IP address and communicates to the particular proxy server, information including the particular source IP address and the destination IP address. The MTA then transmits the email message to the destination IP address using a connection established by the proxy server between the particular source IP address and the destination IP address.

  • Patent number: 11349795
Abstract: A message handling system comprising connection handler circuitry, message parser circuitry, message modification circuitry, message processing circuitry, and content caching circuitry, wherein the message parser circuitry is operable to extract header(s) and/or content of a received message. The message modification circuitry is operable to generate a modified message by inserting, into the message, an HTML tag comprising a first unique uniform resource locator (URL). The connection handler circuitry is operable to send the modified message to a device that handles messages for the recipient. The message processing circuitry is operable to analyze the one or more headers and/or content. The message processing circuitry is operable to determine which image of a plurality of images to serve in response to a request containing the first unique URL, wherein the determination is based on the analysis of the one or more headers and/or content.

  • Patent number: 11349945
Abstract: Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is one of the most widely used methods of distinguishing electronic mail that is authorized by the purported sending domain from unauthorized mail. SPF policies are published into a domain's DNS and then looked up and evaluated by mail receivers. Due to the complexity and limitations of the SPF specification, implementation mistakes are widespread. This problem is compounded by the common practice of nesting SPF policies which introduces hidden risks, particularly exceeding DNS lookup limits. To address these issues, inline service provider designation may be configured to capture the benefits of existing techniques without their associated costs. Additionally, the domain owner may enjoy simplified SPF service provider onboarding and policy failover redundancy to protect against SPF service provider disruptions, thus improving policy availability uptime.
