  • Patent number: 11881114
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for communicating information to an electronic flight bag device (EFB) comprises receiving one or more notification to airmen messages (NOTAMs) that specify conditions associated with one or more runways or taxiways of an airport. The computing system selects from among the received NOTAMs one or more NOTAMs that specify particular conditions under which corresponding runways or taxiways are or will be closed to aircraft traffic. For each selected NOTAM, the computing system generates overlay data that specifies a graphical representation indicative of the particular conditions under which the corresponding runway or taxiway is or will be closed. The computing system communicates the overlay data associated with the selected NOTAMs to the EFB. The graphical representations specified by the overlay data are configured to be overlayed on a map that depicts runways and taxiways and that is configured to be presented by the EFB.

  • Patent number: 11869349
Abstract: [Solving Means] A traffic control device according to an embodiment of the present invention is a traffic control device that controls a traffic light installed on a route of a vehicle running on the basis of an operation diagram, including: an acquisition unit; a determination unit; and a signal generation unit. The acquisition unit acquires, from the vehicle, vehicle information including information regarding the operation diagram and a current position of the vehicle. The determination unit calculates, on the basis of the vehicle information, an estimated time of arrival at the traffic light, and determines whether or not the estimated time is on a scheduled time. The signal generation unit generates, where it is determined that the estimated time is delayed from the scheduled time, a control signal for causing the traffic light to execute signal control for preferentially causing the vehicle to pass therethrough.

  • Patent number: 11837077
Abstract: An instant alert notifier and docking station for use in emergency situations. Several notifiers and docking stations can be located through a building. In use, the user presses a button and pulls the device cover, which causes the notifier to (1) snap a still image of the person removing the notifier, (2) trigger a “code red” alert and/or activate flashing red LEDS on the docking stations where they are located throughout the building and/or (3) switch from a front to a rear camera operation. Using the notifier, real time video and still images can be captured and uploaded to first responder devices. The pressing of the button or removal of the notifier from the docking station can also cause the system to stream live video to the first responders from all of the other notifiers in the building still contained within their docking stations.

  • Patent number: 11820326
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide reduction in connectivity interruptions between vehicle docking stations and a management server for facilitating micro-mobility vehicle sharing services. To maintain communication sessions between the vehicle docking stations and the management server, heartbeat signals are transmitted periodically by each of the vehicle docking stations to the management server. An unavailability of the connection between a vehicle docking station and the management server may be detected based on an interruption to the heartbeat signals. In response to determining the unavailability of the connection, the management server may instruct a vehicle within a predetermined distance of the vehicle docking station to establish a short-range connection with the vehicle docking station and retrieve docking station data from the vehicle docking station.
