Abstract: A method is described. Recorded data capable of being consciously experienced by a user through a sensory form is represented as an indexed digital sequence and maintaining the indexed digital sequence in a storage device. The data is provided to the user via an output device capable of reproducing the data in the sensory form while the user is monitored with a monitor device for a point at which a non-conscious stimuli, as evoked by the user in reaction to the providing of the data, is captured. The stimuli as captured by the monitor device is paired using a processing device with a portion of the data corresponding to the point at which the stimuli was evoked and the data in the storage is reorganized with the processing device as categorized by the stimuli. The output device is configured to efficiently provide the reorganized data as personalized to the user.

Abstract: An example method to facilitate online collaboration includes granting access to an editable collaboration space to multiple users. The method includes dividing the users into subgroups including at least a first subgroup and a second subgroup. The method includes assigning the subgroups to different virtual breakout rooms in the editable collaboration space, including assigning users in the first subgroup to a first virtual breakout room and assigning users in the second subgroup to a second virtual breakout room that is different than the first virtual breakout room.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for application data displayed through a selectable application icon. A computing device, such as a mobile smart phone, may include one or more processing application, such as a payment application to utilize an online payment provider. The application may include a desktop or folder icon, or other visual icon that may be presented within an interface of the device's operating system. Additionally, the application may include application data normally presented to the user of the device during operation of the application. The application or the device's operating system may select an informational element of the application information to present to the user. The informational element may then be presented on the application icon while the application is unopened or executing in the background of the operating system. Multiple informational elements may be cycled through on the application icon.

Abstract: The present invention provides a virtual reality vehicle and/or equipment training system and platform within contextually relevant simulated environments. The system and platform will simulate accurate vehicle and/or equipment dynamics of various vehicles through vehicle modules. The simulated vehicles and/or equipment will be placed within contextually relevant simulated physical environments, and will be able to communicate with other vehicle modules and users of the platform. The system and platform allows for multiple simulated vehicles and/or equipment to exist and interact in the same simulated physical environment. The system allows for rapid development of trainers for different vehicles, different equipment, different physical environments, and different scenarios.

Abstract: A system and method for allowing a companion device to serve as a user interface for another network device is disclosed. The companion device includes a display element, an input device and a software program that enables the companion device to create standard graphical items on that display. The network device transmits a list of graphical descriptors to the companion device, which the companion device uses to create the user interface. Additionally, the network device also transmits to the companion device, the commands that the companion device is to transmit based on user input. In this way, the companion device does not require any knowledge of the operation or functionality of the network device in order to serve as its user interface.

Abstract: A method for dynamically changing a graphical user interface element occurs in response to detecting that a temporal user interface element displayed on a user interface of user device. The method includes receiving, at the user device, a contextual signal characterizing a state of a user. The method further includes determining, by the user device, that the contextual signal characterizing the state of the user is indicative of the user intending to interact with a temporal user interface element. The methods also include, in response to determining that the contextual signal characterizing the state of the user is indicative of the user intending to interact with a temporal user interface element, modifying a respective state of the temporal user interface element displayed on the user interface of the user device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for management of user interface elements based on historical configuration data. Use of historical configuration data to render user interface elements improves usability of graphical user interfaces by maintaining a consistent user experience. The states of user interface objects in a hosting environment are retained as historical configuration data and linked to a hosting environment profile. When the same or similar hosting environment is detected, the user interface elements are rendered based on the historical configuration data. For example, the last positions of windows in a particular monitor topology are stored as historical configuration data linked to that monitor topology. The windows are returned to their previous positions when a computing device is next configured with the same or similar monitor topology.

Abstract: A method comprises displaying an image of an environment on a graphical user interface, the environment including personnel elements visible in the image, detecting a gaze of a user directed at an image of a first personnel element corresponding to a first information conveyor of a plurality of information conveyors, changing a state of the first information conveyor corresponding to the first personnel element from a passive state to a listening state in response to detecting that the gaze is directed at the image of the first personnel element, wherein the first information conveyor includes a first audio output device, receiving audio information through an audio input device, and when the state of the first information conveyor is changed to the listening state, controlling an output operation, wherein the output operation includes directing the received audio information as an audio output through the first audio output device.

Abstract: A method of encoding and decoding user interface interactions includes receiving a query from a user captured by an assistant-enabled device associated with the user. The query includes a user intent for interacting with an application. The method includes obtaining, for the application, a set of categorized actions. Each categorized action of the set of categorized actions is associated with one or more parameters and represents a high-level description of the user intent of the user interacting with the application. For each respective categorized action of the set of categorized actions, the method includes selecting a respective script associated with the respective categorized action that performs one or more low-level interactions with the application and executing the respective script to represent the user intent for interacting with the application.

Abstract: Systems and methods of assisting operator engagement with input devices include an input device configured to be operated by a hand of an operator, a repositionable structure coupled to the input device, a hand detection system, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to detect a position and an orientation of the hand using the hand detection system, determine, based on the position of the hand, a target position for the input device, wherein moving the input device from a current position of the input device to the target position moves the input device closer to a grasping position for the hand, and in response to determining that an orientation difference between the orientation of the hand and a current orientation of the input device is not greater than a threshold orientation difference, cause one or more actuators to move the input device toward the target position.

In certain embodiments, a component may be configured to be integrated within a dashboard. That is, the component may provide the plurality of representations independent of the dashboard. The component may be maintained independent of the dashboard and, thus, may be updated independent of the dashboard.

Abstract: A system and method for standardizing user interface elements are presented. A first application is identified having a higher use metric than a second application, the first application including one or more user interface elements that have one or more respective parameters. The second application has one or more user interface elements that are similar to the user interface elements of the first application and has one or more respective parameters that are different than the respective parameters of the user interface elements of the first application. A determination of similarity is made between the user interface elements applications based upon at least one predetermined criterion. Based on the determination, one or more parameters of the user interface elements of the second application are modified to match one or more parameters of the first application.

Abstract: To make it easier to perform an in-depth analysis by presenting to a user which feature value influences and how it influences an objective variable in a case of automatically generating feature values. For each of a plurality of feature values, by determining a division point indicating a change in influence on an objective variable, each feature value is divided into a plurality of segments and an evaluation value is calculated using an influence degree of each segment on the objective variable as an index. The segments of the feature values for which the evaluation values have been calculated are displayed on a monitor.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, at an application provider, a request from a requestor to provide a customized application. The application provider obtains a first configuration parameter including channel configuration information specifying a default channel. The application provider also obtains an unconfigured application from a codebase, and modifies the unconfigured application based, at least in part, on the first configuration parameter, to generate the customized application. As modified, the customized application is configured to include the default channel specified by the channel configuration information. The customized application is then transmitting to a destination specified by the requestor.
