  • Patent number: 10075957
Abstract: Disclosed are a wireless communication base station device and a division number determination method that improve the frequency diversity effect while maintaining channel estimation accuracy regardless of the number of divisions in the frequency domain of a transmission signal from a wireless communication terminal device. A determination unit determines the number of divisions in the frequency domain of a transmission signal from a wireless communication terminal device. Here, the determination unit increases the number of divisions in the frequency domain of the transmission signal from the wireless communication terminal device as the number of pilot blocks included in the transmission signal increases. In addition, a scheduling unit schedules allocation to the frequency resources of the divided transmission signal according to the number of divisions determined by the determination unit.

  • Patent number: 10063479
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a load balancer for distributing packet flows that are addressed to a group of data compute nodes (DCNs) amongst the DCNs of the group. In some embodiments, the load balancer includes a connection data storage comprising several different destination network address translation (DNAT) tables. Each particular DNAT table is defined at a particular instance in time and stores the identity of a plurality DCNs that are part of the group at the particular instance in time. Each time a DCN is added to the group, the load balancer of some embodiments creates a new DNAT table in the connection data storage for processing new packet flows, while using previously created DNAT tables to process packets that are part of previously processed packet flows.

  • Patent number: 10057123
Abstract: A method is described that determines that a replacement node device has been connected to a mesh network, the replacement node device corresponding to an original node that has been removed from the mesh network. In response to determining that the replacement node device has been connected to the mesh network, network topology data is accessed that specifies one or more data routing configurations that are each associated with a node device included in the mesh network. From among the one or more data routing configurations specified by the network topology data, a particular data routing configuration is identified that is associated with the original node device that has been removed from the mesh network. Data that specifies the particular data routing configuration that is associated with the original node device that has been removed from the mesh network is provided to the replacement node device.

  • Patent number: 10050808
Abstract: The present disclosure describes traffic forwarding in a network where a virtual local area network (VLAN) exists in multiple network sites that are geographically dispersed and connected via virtual links. A first edge device (ED) at a first site receives, from a second ED at a second site, information identifying a VLAN of the second ED through a virtual link. The VLAN identified in the information is an active VLAN of the second ED. An association between (i) the VLAN of the second ED and (ii) the virtual link through which the information is received from the second ED is recorded. When forwarding traffic to the VLAN of the second ED, it is determined the virtual link associated with the VLAN of the second ED is determined based on the recorded association and the traffic is forwarded via the determined virtual link.
