Abstract: A thermal dye sublimation printer to which an ink ribbon cassette having a function of transmitting and receiving data via wireless communication with a printer main body is attached, is disclosed. The thermal dye sublimation printer includes: communication means that transmits and receives data via wireless communication with an ink ribbon cassette; and control means that acquires management information of the ink ribbon cassette stored in the ink ribbon cassette side via the communication means and controls printing processing based on the acquired management information.
Abstract: Provided are a direct image formation method and apparatus in which a predetermined image file that is transmitted from a host computer is directly received and printed or transmitted. Abstract: A printer includes a data obtaining unit, a storage unit, an engine, and a printing unit. The target print data includes first print data of odd pages and second print data of even pages. After printing the first print data on one side of sheets fed from a feed tray and discharges the sheets onto the discharge tray, the engine prints the second print data on the other side of the sheets manually returned from the discharge tray to the feed tray.
Abstract: An image processing apparatus is connected via a network to a terminal device having a recording medium loaded therein, receives a remote login from the terminal device, and executes an image processing job. When an operator who has logged in to the image processing apparatus is the same person as a user who is remotely logged in to the image processing apparatus from the terminal device, the image processing apparatus performs one of operations A and B after the image processing apparatus is granted access permission by the terminal device with use of a network address of the terminal device, which is acquired upon the remote login, the operation A being to acquire an image file stored in the recording medium, the operation B being to cause an image file stored in the apparatus to be stored in the recording medium.

Abstract: A wireless printer system includes a wireless transceiver that generates a baseband signal based on a received radio frequency signal. A first system on a chip communicates with the wireless transceiver and includes a system on a chip. The system on a chip includes a wireless interface module and an imaging module. The wireless interface module processes the baseband signal to generate a print data signal via a wireless interface software. The imaging module processes the print data signal to generate a print image signal via an imaging software.
Abstract: Systems and methods for electronically managing individual and business information. The systems and methods encompass three printing stages of pre-printing, printing, and post-printing. In one embodiment, the invention provides contact information by a printer, the contact information derived from a single raw data set provided to a printer to obtain a printed contact information carrier and converted by the printer into at least one alternate format during customary creation of the printed contact information carrier. Abstract: A device for creating print data utilized by a printer is disclosed. The print data includes a coordinate at which a dot is to be formed on a print medium by the printer. The print data creating device is provided with a first device and a second device. The first device chooses a first coordinate from bit-mapped data. The bit-mapped data includes a plurality of combinations of the first coordinate and color information. The first device chooses the first coordinate based on the color information being combined with the first coordinate. The second device creates the print data by converting the first coordinate chosen by the first device into at least two second coordinates which are randomly chosen from at least three second coordinates located in the neighborhood of the first coordinate.
Abstract: The object of the invention is to achieve a correctly positioned print in duplex-printing mode. A method for the detection of marks (1, 1?, 1?) by a sensor array (10) for a printing machine has been provided, whereby the marks (1) on the first (recto) printing side (5) of a sheet (3) are detected, the sheet is turned over and shifted in a direction transverse to the transport direction, and the marks (1?) on a second (verso) printing side (6) of said sheet are detected. Abstract: Systems and methods for generating color corrected digital image data from a document image according to personal preferences of an identified user of the digital image copy. A color correction profile is provided defining color correction parameters for a particular identified user. The digital image copy is generated in accordance with the color correction profile by replacing problematic colors with alternate presentations as defined by the color correction parameters. The alternate presentations may include corrections to compensate for colorblindness of an identified user. The document image may be logically segmented to identify objects associated with each of a plurality of segments of the document image such as text, graphics, photographic images, etc. The color correction profile may define different color correction parameters to be associated with each defined type of segment.

Abstract: A print management system may include at least one client device for generating print jobs, and a plurality of print servers for storing print job information based upon the generated print jobs. The print servers may cooperate to share the print job information therebetween. At least one printing station may retrieve the shared print job information, and selectively print print jobs based thereon.
