Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media utilized for event-based authentication. One method includes recognizing an event and receiving, from a device, a withdrawal request of a user, wherein the withdrawal request includes a captured feature by the device. The method further includes determining that the user is associated with the recognized event using at least a geographic proximity between the event and the withdrawal request, wherein the geographic proximity is a given radius around a location of the event, and wherein the device is within the given radius and adjusting authentication rules based on the determination that the user is associated with the recognized event, wherein the adjustment of the authentication rules includes adjusting a matching threshold between the captured feature and a reference feature. The method further includes processing the withdrawal request for the user based on the adjusted authentication rules.

Abstract: A method comprising creating and storing, in computer memory, a financial graph having nodes and edges, wherein the nodes include first nodes representing assets and second nodes representing any one or more of accounts in which one or more of the assets are held, individuals who own one or more of the assets, or legal entities who own one or more of the assets; obtaining, from an asset custodian data source, asset transaction data associated with one or more of the assets represented by the first nodes of the financial graph; transforming the asset transaction data into one or more stored transaction objects, wherein each transaction object is associated with a plurality of transaction effect objects; wherein each of the plurality of transaction effect objects is associated with a particular edge in the financial graph and represents one of a credit to an account type associated with the particular edge and a debit from an account type associated with the particular edge.

Abstract: In various aspects, a computer receives bond market information in digital form via a network cloud from various combinations of a trading computer of an electronic trading platform and an information computer of an information source and the computer then transforms the bond market information into a bond market analysis. Accordingly, the bond market information, which is generally disorganized digital information existing on various combinations of the trading computer and the information computer, is transmitted to the computer via the network cloud and then transformed by the computer into an organized bond market analysis, which is also in digital form, and which may be displayed in various ways. The computer may automatically generate order information in digital form in response to the bond market analysis and the computer may communicate the order via the network cloud to the trading computer for execution.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for assessing an account takeover risk for one or more accounts of an individual. The account security procedures for each of a number of services with which the user has an account may be analyzed. Publicly accessible information regarding the user may also be collected and analyzed. The collected information and security procedures may be compared in order to determine one or more vulnerabilities to hostile account takeover of one or more of the analyzed accounts. An alert may be generated regarding a determined takeover risk, which may include suggested actions for remedying the risk.

Abstract: Techniques for gamifying risk management services include associating a financial status of a user with a defensible position display element in a gameplay scenario, receiving risk management data regarding at least one risk management service secured by the user, associating the risk management service with at least one defensive display element in the gameplay scenario, and providing the defensible position display element and each defensive display element to a display to cause the display to visualize the defensible position display element protected by each defensive display element in the gameplay scenario.

Abstract: The system and methodology of the present invention operate, in one embodiment, to provide a set of cloud-based applications through which creators, initial investors and secondary investors can all interact so that content catalogs can be valued, initially invested in and traded on a secondary basis. As a result, content creators can source valuable capital for growth and expansion as well as other purposes. Separately, the system and methodologies of the present invention provide the unique opportunity for investors to invest in an interesting asset class which is diverse from other typical investment vehicles. The ability to rely on automated valuations at the time of the initial offering as well as the liquidity provided via secondary trading enhances the desirability of the content catalog asset class as well as the revenue streams associated therewith.

Abstract: In response to a request for risk assessment of a person-to-person (P2P) payment transaction, a risk assessment system returns a payer risk score, a payee risk score and a joint/fusion risk score. Risk scores are based on large amounts of data (including transaction data) provided by multiple financial institutions. The data is sorted and linked to individual people (e.g., common account holders), and assembled by a profile system into payee, payer and joint profiles for purposes of risk evaluation. A database associated with a profile system separately stores the profiles (and associated risk scores). Risk scores (payer, payee and joint) are provided for a transaction in response to a payer ID, a payee ID and transaction data.

Abstract: Technologies for preprocessing transaction authorization records for clearing data batch file generation include a settlement processing server. The settlement processing server receives transaction authorization records corresponding to authorized transactions. The transaction authorization records are appended to an initial authorization stream. The initial authorization stream is closed and the transaction authorization records appended thereto are split into substreams. The settlement processing server preprocesses the transaction authorization records in each of the substreams. While the transaction authorization records appended to the substreams are preprocessed, the settlement processing server initializes another authorization stream and appends newly received transaction authorization records thereto. A clearing data batch file is generated based at least in part on the transaction authorization records appended to each of the substreams. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A data distribution system and method are described herein to improve the distribution of market information to subscribing client devices. Market information updates are provided to subscribing devices over a communication link every time a change in the market occurs. If a bandwidth limitation is reached on the communication link, the preferred embodiments switch to a second mode of transmission such that the market information updates are provided only at predetermined intervals. The preferred embodiment monitors the bandwidth consumption to determine what mode of transmission to apply, and in response, it can dynamically change between modes of transmission. By dynamically adjusting the mode of transmission to comport with the current network bandwidth, the preferred embodiments may provide a network friendly, data intensive, and fast response market information feed.

Abstract: A method for transferring funds to a second electronic computing device includes establishing a first pre-paid payment account on a first electronic computing device. The first pre-paid payment account is used to establish one or more second pre-paid payment accounts. The one or more second pre-paid payment accounts have a value that is less than or equal to the first pre-paid payment account. A first account identifier is obtained for one of the second pre-paid payment accounts. The first account identifier is sent to the second electronic computing device. The sending of the first account identifier to the second electronic computing device results in a transfer of ownership of the one more second pre-paid accounts from a first user at the first electronic computing device to a second user at the second electronic computing device.

Abstract: Systems and methods relating to determining an address of a user by device location prior to sending a replacement card, the method being performed by a card management computing system associated with a card management entity. The method includes determining a location of a mobile device associated with a user via geolocation monitoring of the mobile device. The method further includes determining that a card associated with the user needs to be replaced. Upon determining that the card needs to be replaced, the method further includes determining an address for the user based on the geolocation monitoring. The method further includes sending instructions indicating a replacement card should be mailed to the determined address.
