The insert hump is structured to position a medical device within a cavity formed at least partly by the case insert. At least a portion of a sensor is located within the insert hump and configured to detect a feature of the medical device. The feature of the medical device may correspond to an aspect of a treatment plan.

Abstract: A carrier for reversibly immobilizing one or more objects is disclosed. The carrier comprises a frame having a major axis, a top surface, a bottom surface, and one or more openings through the frame along the major axis. The carrier also comprises a film comprising a thermoplastic elastomer material and having a top surface and a bottom surface. The film is attached to the frame based on thermal bonding of the top surface of the film to the bottom surface of the frame, is under tension along the major axis, and is free to flex at the openings. The top surface of the film comprises one or more exposed top surface portions that are accessible through the openings. The exposed top surface portions exhibit a holding force on stainless steel as per ASTM D1000 that is greater than that of the bottom surface of the film.

Abstract: A self-venting closure assembly includes a closure body having a deck with a peripheral mounting skirt and an annular seal on an underside of the deck adjacent to the peripheral mounting skirt. The closure body further includes a circular valve seat within the center portion of the deck, and a plurality of vent openings circumferentially spaced within the valve seat. An elastomeric umbrella valve is centrally mounted to the deck and has a frustoconical valve flap arranged on an underside of the valve seat. The valve flap cooperates with the vent openings to normally seal the vent openings but permits air to flow into an interior of the closure body when a vacuum is applied to an interior of the container on which the closure is mounted.

Abstract: A lockable and moisture-proof pill box has a storing base having at least one compartment for holding pills, at least one lid pivotally mounted on the storing base, and at least one sealing and pushing member. Each of the at least one lid has a sealing ring and a pushing bar integrally formed as a single part. With the at least one sealing and pushing member mounted between the storing base and the at least one lid, the at least one compartment in the storing base can be airtightly sealed by the sealing ring when being closed, so as to prevent the pills in the at least one compartment from being spilt. Moreover, each of the at least one lid can be automatically opened by push of the pushing bar. Thus, a user can take the pills held in the compartment easily and conveniently.

Abstract: A protective cleaning sleeve is provided which substantially encloses a portable electronic device and which is configured with a narrowed stretchable cuff/opening made from a material that contacts and cleans the portable electronic device when it is being inserted into and removed from the sleeve. The stretchable cuff/opening is configured with a customized width or diameter narrower than a width of the portable electronic device so that it substantially closes around the portable electronic device and provides sufficient friction and contact with a display screen on the portable electronic device when the portable electronic device is being inserted into the sleeve and removed from the sleeve. In this manner, the narrowed stretchable cuff/opening cleans the display screen to remove fingerprints, smudges, oils, dirt and other particles simply by inserting the device into, and removing the device from the protective cleaning sleeve.

Abstract: A housing case for a crystal oscillator monitors a film thickness of a thin film to be formed on a surface of the crystal oscillator, the monitoring being performed by measuring a resonance frequency during film formation in a vacuum atmosphere. The housing case has: a case main body having disposed on an upper surface thereof a plurality of first recessed parts each being capable of housing therein a crystal oscillator in a horizontal posture with a main surface thereof facing in an up-and-down direction; a first cap body detachably mounted on the case main body from an upper side thereof; and an engaging means for engaging the first cap body relative to the case main body. The engaging means is so constructed and arranged that, in a state in which the first cap body is engaged with the case main body, the crystal oscillators housed in the first recessed parts are restrained from jumping out of position.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to packages having a peelable/resealable tamper-evident label adhesively sealed to the portion of packaging body with a line of weakness. The peelable/resealable tamper-evident label comprises an unsealed pull tab and a plurality of adjacent tear slits positioned at or near the periphery of the peelable/resealable tamper-evident label. The tear slits are slanted towards the unsealed pull tab. The packages provide evidence of tampering when one Improperly attempts to open the package by removing the label at a corner or a side of the label. When the label is lifted anywhere other than the unsealed pull tab, it will tear at one or more tear slits which indicates that the label has been tampered with.
