Abstract: A device including one or more preformed or customized eruption guidance appliances placed in an individual's mouth. The preformed appliances are vibrated with a pulsation device to encourage tooth eruption by increasing the force and efficiency of the eruption toward a preferred location and a preferred alignment as well as providing increased blood flow and blood oxygen flow to the muscles and tissues in and around the oral cavity of the individual. The preformed guidance appliance driven by the pulsation device is selected from a range of guidance appliances, each of which is selected by size and shape to fit an individual based on the individuals anticipated tooth and jaw size as well as the growth profile.

Abstract: A training method for evaluating the bonding accuracy of orthodontic brackets is provided. The evaluation method includes a training device for racket bonding accuracy evaluation which includes virtual teeth with root-shaped connectors and an evaluation base to fix the virtual teeth. Multiple reference lines are marked on the evaluation base, and their intersection is set as the evaluation point. When the virtual tooth is fixed to the evaluation base, the reference lines and the evaluation points are utilized for rapid evaluation of the bonding accuracy of the bracket. Moreover, thanks to their horizontal arrangement, when there are multiple virtual teeth, the evaluation of bracket bonding would be more intuitive and efficient than using the traditional articulator.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to an improved plastic lice treatment comb as well as methods of manufacture and use of the comb. The lice plastic comb may have a front surface, a back surface, a grip portion, and a plurality of rigid plastic tines extending from the grip portion. The front surface of the grip portion includes an elongated plastic flow ridge which is adjacent to the base ends of the tines. The back surface of the grip portion includes a plastic flow restriction channel, which is spaced slightly back from the base ends of the tines.
Abstract: A cartridge and a piston for storing and dispensing a two-component dental material. The cartridge and the piston have a cross-section which substantially correspond to a D-shape in which the perimeter of the D-shape is defined by a plurality of circle segments only. At least two of the circle segments are based on different radii. The invention helps maximizing the time period over which a dental material can be stored in the compartment.
Abstract: Cosmetic blenders and applicators, and more particularly to a soft, resilient blender system that includes an open-cell memory foam surface component that is easily cleanable or optionally disposable in combination with a core component that is fluid impermeable.
