  • Patent number: 11676477
Abstract: An object herein is to provide a fire alarm system which is capable of performing cable-deterioration diagnosis on a cable even if it is connected to a communication input type sensor. The fire alarm system includes: a sensor to which a communication signal to be used for detection is inputted intermittently; an input circuit unit for causing a current for measuring an impedance, to flow to the sensor constantly in a manner superimposed on the communication signal to be used for detection; a signal processor for measuring the impedance in a communication off-period of the communication signal; a storage in which a threshold value for the impedance is stored, the threshold value serving to determine deterioration of a cable connected to the sensor; and a controller for diagnosing, when the measured impedance exceeds the threshold value, that the cable connected to the sensor is deteriorated; to thereby perform cable-deterioration diagnosis.

  • Patent number: 11625999
Abstract: Emotional loneliness is referred as the absence of an attachment figure in one's life and someone to turn to. The existing methods use installation of sensors for tracking the movement, behaviour and activity of the person, but most of the efforts are obtrusive in nature. A non-obtrusive method and system for detection of emotional loneliness of a person have been provided. The disclosure is utilizing multiple varied techniques to understand the emotional loneliness. The multiple techniques comprise room change movement anomalies, living room stay anomalies, correlating the living room stay with the bedroom stay and outdoor movement anomalies. The methodology also ensures reduced variance and false positives, as emotional loneliness is finally determined based on more than two positives of above methods. The detection of person's movement is done using a featured engineered dataset based on collection of raw time series data collected from a plurality of motion sensors.

  • Patent number: 11610463
Abstract: Disclosures relate to a sensor system and arrangements having different sized removable spacers. The spacers may be mixed and matched as needed or desired to compensate for misalignment conditions. Further, different spacer combinations and adjustments may be guided by a security management computing device. Variations in configurations of mounting surfaces, such as door and window assemblies, may be accommodated. Alignment of a transmitter or a receiving device, e.g., a magnetic device, with respect to a transmitter or receiving device despite misalignment of the components due to, for example, uneven surfaces of a door or a window, or a respective frame may be achieved.
