  • Patent number: 11244106
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to task template generation and social task discovery. In examples, a task template catalog comprises task templates, which may be automatically generated and/or user-submitted, among other examples. Task templates can be reviewed, shared, and curated within the task template catalog. A user may browse the task catalog or search the task catalog for task templates. Once the user selects a task template, a task is generated based on the task template and added to the user's task list. In some examples, aspects of a task template may be customized. For example, a task may comprise parametric or conditional subtasks, thereby enabling a user to further tailor the task template to his or her needs. Thus, the task catalog provides a starting point from which the user can author a task in a task management application.

  • Patent number: 11221738
Abstract: A client computing system (CCS) receives a download including (i) an image representative of a vehicle component, (ii) symbol data associated with a first symbol, (iii) a set of one or more selectable identifiers, and (iv) supplemental information associated with the vehicle component. Each selectable identifier can indicate a respective portion of the supplemental information. After receiving the download, the CCS displays the image and the first symbol without displaying the set and the supplemental information. While the image and the first symbol are displayed without the set, the CCS receives a first input corresponding to selection of the first symbol. The CCS then responsively displays the set. While the set is displayed, the CCS receives a second input corresponding to selection of a first selectable identifier from the set. The CCS then responsively displays the respective portion of the supplemental information indicated by the first selectable identifier.

  • Patent number: 11210116
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for navigating a user through a plurality of user interfaces (UIs) of a computing system to perform a task are provided. The computer-implemented method system and computer program product determine, in response to the user accessing the computing system, the task to be performed by the user by evaluating historical data stored therein. Based on the determined task, the plurality of UIs to display to the user is determined, each of the plurality of UIs having at least one menu-option that is to be recommended to the user. Then, in a successive manner, the plurality of UIs is displayed to the user, wherein each successive UI displayed is based on the user choosing a recommended menu-option.

  • Patent number: 11132108
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for automatically synchronizing a visual presentation with a live presenter. Visual presentation slides are preprocessed to determine one or more topics for each slide. A topic index contains one or more topics corresponding to slides of the presentation. As a presenter provides a verbal presentation for corresponding slides, natural language processing analyzes the verbal presentation and creates one or more temporal verbal topic categories. The temporal verbal topic categories are used to search the topic index to find one or more slides that best match the current temporal verbal topic categories. In this way, the slides can automatically follow the discussion of the presenter, enabling improved presentations that can enhance the user experience, increase audience engagement, and improve the dissemination of information.

  • Patent number: 11086476
Abstract: Embodiments of a 3D web interaction system are disclosed that allow a user to select a content item from a browser, displayed in an artificial reality environment, and present a corresponding version of the content item in the artificial reality environment. The 3D web interaction system can create the version of the selected content item in different ways depending on whether the selected content item is associated with 3D content and, if so, the type of the associated 3D content. For example, the 3D web interaction system can create and present different versions of the selected content item depending on whether the selected content item is (a) not associated with 3D content, (b) associated with “environment content,” or (c) associated with one or more 3D models.
