  • Patent number: 11341451
Abstract: Described is a reactive hierarchical blockchain architecture, system, and methodology for Global Trade Management (GTM). The system includes a comprehensive suite of GTM applications and leverages multi-national content to deliver efficient cross-boarder transactions anywhere in the world. The tiered computer-implemented system and method allow development of distributed GTM blockchain solutions capable of processing enormous amounts of global content at scale to meet huge transaction volume. The hierarchical blockchain architecture further assures scalability of the GTM solutions described herein by reducing the need for performing extensive calculations on multiple blockchain nodes. The GTM blockchain systems can be standalone or they can feed information into on or more main International Trade (ITC) blockchains. Smart contracts for specific GTM operations are segregated among appropriate childchains and verified by integrated GTM applications executed on permissioned nodes.

  • Patent number: 11288661
Abstract: The SNAP MOBILE PAYMENT APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“SNAP”) transform real-time-generated merchant-product Quick Response codes via SNAP components into virtual wallet card-based transaction purchase notifications. In one embodiment, the SNAP obtains a snapshot of a QR code presented on a display screen of a point-of-sale device from a mobile device. The SNAP decodes the QR code to obtain product information included in a checkout request of the user, and merchant information for processing a user purchase transaction with a merchant providing the QR code. The SNAP accesses a user virtual wallet to obtain user account information to process the user purchase transaction with the merchant. Using the product information, merchant information and user account information, the SNAP generates a card authorization request, and which the SNAP provides to a payment network for transaction processing. Also, the SNAP obtains a purchase receipt confirming processing of the user purchase transaction.

  • Patent number: 11244385
Abstract: A system for providing coaching includes a system that creates a user-specific coach to assist a user in achieving one or more goals, such as, e.g., a financial goal. The coach is generated based on one or more traits of the user to increase the likelihood that the user will relate and respond to communications from the coach in a manner that enables the user to achieve his/her goal. The traits used by the system to create the coach can include traits input directly by a user, as well as user traits deduced by the system by monitoring various types of user behavior, including the user's usage of computing devices, habits, etc. The system also adapts the coaching provided by the coach in response to trends noted by the coaching system as the system is used by the user as well as others.

  • Patent number: 11210737
Abstract: There is a need for improving data security in enrollment management systems. This need can be addressed by, for example, solutions for determining an enrollment recommendation for a primary member profile based on preconfigured enrollment modeling data. In one example, a method includes retrieving enrollment modeling data for a group of member profiles, determining a plurality of related member profiles for the primary member profile from the group of member profiles, determining a cross-member enrollment prediction for the primary member profile by comparing enrollment modeling data of the primary member profile and enrollment modeling data of each related member profile, determining a member-specific enrollment recommendation by comparing enrollment modeling data of the primary member profile and enrollment coverage criteria for each enrollment plan, and determining the enrollment recommendation based on the cross-member enrollment prediction and the member-specific enrollment prediction.

  • Patent number: 10990975
Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting malware by monitoring client-side memory stacks are described. A request for a payment process is received and a client-side memory stack is populated with a series of functions corresponding to the requested payment process. The execution of each function is monitored to determine whether the series of functions and an order of execution of the functions from the client-side memory stack are the same as an expected series of functions and in an expected order corresponding to the payment process. The monitoring also determines whether the number and types of parameters called by the functions are the same as the expected number and types of parameters. The monitoring further determines whether the timing of the execution of the functions is the same as an expected timing. Remedial action is performed when the any of these factors is determined to be different than what is expected.

  • Patent number: 10891692
Abstract: An electronic exchange system network includes a trader site having an automated trading system capable of submitting orders to an exchange site. The automated trading system determines whether an order should be submitted based on, for example, the current market price of an option and theoretical buy and sell prices. The theoretical buy and sell prices are derived from, among other things, the current market price of the security underlying the option. A look-up table stores a range of theoretical buy and sell prices for a given range of current market price of the underlying security. As the price of the underlying security changes, a new theoretical price may be indexed in the look-up table, thereby avoiding calculations that would otherwise slow automated trading decisions. In addition, a system of checks may be conducted to ensure accurate and safe automated trading.
