Abstract: The present disclosure provides a user interface process flow for posting content on a display device. The disclosed techniques include a user interface process that initiates a connection that enables a host device to receive content from a guest device in a secure and discrete manner. The host device utilizes one or more graphical elements to invoke a user input at the host device to verify that the user is physically present at the host device. In response to the user input, a server generates a connection identifier that is communicated to, and displayed at, the host device. The connection identifier and an address of a server are displayed at, or otherwise communicated from, the host device to a guest device. The guest device uses the connection identifier to establish a connection with the host device for delivery of content from the guest device for display on the host device.

The at least one processor is configured to: receive, through the wireless communication unit, beverage-making state information indicating a state of the beverage-making apparatus; and generate content to be output through the display unit, based on the received beverage-making state information of the beverage-making apparatus.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for enabling a first user to set up an alert that will notify the first user when the first user has caught up to a second user's progress in consuming media. These systems and methods are used to ensure that the first user is informed, while they are consuming media, that they have caught up to the progress of a second user. By providing an alert while the first user is viewing media, the first user does not have to remember the progress of the second user while viewing the media, alleviating the first user from worrying they will pass the progress made by the second user without realizing they have done so.

Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems related to a user interface for modifying pictures are described. Modifying pictures can include placing an image of a picture in a different picture, replacing an image of the picture with a different image, deleting an image from the picture, and/or storing an image from the picture. In an example, a method can include displaying a first picture on a user interface of a mobile device, receiving, on the user interface, a selection of at least one foreground image included in the first picture, receiving, on the user interface, a selection of a background image included in a library of images, and displaying, on a user interface, a second picture including the at least one selected foreground image and the selected background image responsive to receiving the selection of the at least one foreground image followed by the selection of the background image.

Abstract: A system and method for creating a web page or web site including dynamically-generating content, such as a forum, using a framing layout and a series of modules arrangeable within. An interface allows the selection and placement of modules of various types in a simulation of a web page, and configuration data for each module may be set. A layout, or plurality of possible layouts, defines sections into which the modules may be placed. Pages may be organized in a hierarchy such that features of a template page are applied to any page underneath it in the hierarchy. The interface or other component of the system may further allow for the development of additional modules and layouts to be added to the available selection.

Abstract: Method, system, and programs for measuring user engagement with content items. In one example, a query is received. A set of content items related to the query is obtained. A presentation of at least one content item of the set of content items is provided on a user interface. A user activity related to the at least one content item is determined. An amount of time between a time at which the presentation of the at least one content item is provided on the user interface and a time at which the user activity occurred is determined. A score associated with the content item is determined based on the amount of time. Information related to user engagement with the set of content items is generated based on the score.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method implemented in software for providing digital multimodal content to a first user of an electronic device. The method includes displaying digital multimedia content to a first user, determining a digital multimodal content to be provided to the first user based on a demographic information, a psychographic information or a preference of the first user. The method may include receiving an input from the first user on a graphical user interface element that is displayed along with multimedia content, and may include triggering playback of the digital multimodal content in response to the first user performing actions on the graphical user interface element. The method has particular advantages as a method of providing a customized user-experience for a prospective or possible real estate transaction.

Abstract: Disclosed are a user interface display method, a terminal and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The method is applied to a terminal. The terminal includes a foldable screen including a first display area and a second display area. The method includes: displaying a user interface of a first application in full screen while the foldable screen is in a stretched state; receiving a first multi-finger swipe signal acted on the user interface of the first application displayed in full screen; wherein the first multi-finger swipe signal is generated in response to detecting at least two fingers sliding on the foldable screen; and in response to receiving the first multi-finger swipe signal, displaying the user interface of the first application in the first display area and displaying a user interface of a second application in the second display area.

An indication to generate an electronic information card may be received from a user. In response to the indication, the electronic information card may be generated. A selection of a user interface field element may be received to add to the electronic information card at a location, and, in response to the selection, the user interface element may be added to the electronic information card at the location.

Abstract: An artificial intelligence-based system and method for automatically generating and adjusting tags associated with one or more UI/UX related components or features is provided. Analysis may be performed on the data collected by the one or more tags so that design change recommendations can be dynamically recommended and/or implemented. When design changes are implemented, the system may automatically reconfigure or adjust all relevant tags. The AI-based system may be a standalone platform or may be incorporated into existing UI/UX programs.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes generating, via a multi-user business collaboration platform, at least one guided navigation page based at least in part on data used to measure a goal associated with a workflow of a business. The method further includes facilitating direct navigation among a plurality of data domains in response to a user selection of one of a plurality of displayable actionable elements each associated with at least one core dimension of information predetermined to be pertinent to the continuation of the workflow of the business. The method further includes applying goal attainment algorithms to at least a portion of the data and recommending a candidate collaboration project in a user interface of the multi-user business collaboration platform. The candidate collaboration project includes team members selected from a list of team members associated with the workflow for the business.

Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for accessing and traversing one or more complex data structures and generating a functional user interface that can enable non-technical users to quickly and dynamically generate detailed reports (including tables, charts, and/or the like) of complex data. The user interfaces are interactive such that a user may make selections, provide inputs, and/or manipulate outputs. In response to various user inputs, the system automatically calculates applicable time intervals, accesses and traverses complex data structures (including, for example, a mathematical graph having nodes and edges), calculates complex data based on the traversals and the calculated time intervals, displays the calculated complex data to the user, and/or enters the calculated complex data into the tables, charts, and/or the like. The user interfaces may be automatically updated based on a context selected by the user.

Abstract: Techniques are described for capturing an image of a document or other type of physical object, and presenting the image in a user interface (UI) with an overlay that includes context information regarding the document or other physical object in the image. An application running on a portable computing device receives an image of the document that is captured using a camera of the device. The application may perform an initial analysis to identify one or more data elements present in the document, such as certain words, phrases, paragraphs, and so forth. The data elements can be uploaded to a remote service that analyzes the data elements and returns context data which is presented as an overlay to the image of the document. The context data can then be presented in an overlay to the presented image of the physical object.

Abstract: One or more systems and/or methods for providing related content associated with a multi-touch gesture to a user are provided. A multi-touch gesture (e.g., a pinch-in gesture, a pinch-out gesture, etc.) may be received through a user interface of a client device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, television, virtual wall, etc.) associated with a user. The multi-touch gesture may be evaluated to identify an area of interest of the user interface (e.g., a portion of user interface containing content of interest to the user). The area of interest may be evaluated to identify context (e.g., keywords, phrases, associated content, etc.) associated with the area of interest. A search of content may be performed based upon the context to identify related content (e.g., news articles, wide-area network search results, local device search results, etc.) associated with the context. The related content may be provided to the user through the client device.

Abstract: Durable memento method that enables the storage of data associated with mementos, which are objects that serve to provide a reminder of a person, place, thing, or an event. Embodiments are configured to store and recall data including but not limited to pictures, movies, sounds, text, or other information such as performance data indirectly associated with a memento such as but not limited to a keepsake, souvenir, gift, gift card, medal or award, tool or any combination thereof. One or more embodiments may include a visual and/or machine-readable and/or human-readable code to associate the data with the memento. The durable data may be stored remote from the memento, which prevents obsolescence by securing data robustly. This enables the data to be accessed years later even if the file formats or display technology for the data has changed by that time and even if the original memento has been lost.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating product design by an electronic device are described. According to certain aspects, an electronic device may present a design having a set of design elements, and may detect a modification to one or more of the set of design elements. The electronic device may determine, based on a set of characteristics, how remaining design elements can be modified based on the detected modification. The electronic device may determine and present a modified design according to the modified design elements, for review by a user of the electronic device.
