Abstract: A strap logo for a user to apply to the strap of a bag, cap, to shoestrings, or other articles having a linearly extended member comprises a logo face rotably attached to arms which encircle the strap and are, in turn, attached to each other by complementary hook and loop fastening means. As constructed, the strap logo may be temporarily attached to a variety of straps and removed at the user's option.

Abstract: A hat having elongated support members extending from the exterior of the crown of the hat, for supporting the hat upon the head of the wearer, to prevent the hat from causing any undue adverse affect to the wearer's hair style. An alternative embodiment of the hat further includes a casing having a framing that is either attached to the crown or a brim, which framing may be twisted to collapse the hat into a small compact size and shape. Another alternative embodiment of the hat further includes a layer of material for reducing the ability of the crown of the hat to become wrinkled after the hat is un-collapsed.

Abstract: A new heatable hair cap for providing heat to a wearer's head to aid in the styling of the wearer's hair. The inventive device includes a cap member having an interior layer and an exterior layer defining a cap member interior space between them. Provided within the cap member interior space is a heatable gel solution for providing heat to the head cavity.

Abstract: A cooling cap or helmet containing at least one and, ordinarily, several air funnels which ventilate a sportsman's scalp during the sports activity, e.g., running or jogging, cycling, etc. The air funnels have downward flow through apertures or through ducts. The flexible funnels can be removed for cleaning or replacement. An added advantage is the massaging of the scalp during the use of the air funnel containing cap or helmet.

Abstract: A hat has a main body, a fixed peak disposed on a front portion of the main body, and an extensible visor engaged with the fixed peak. At least an insertion block is disposed on the extensible visor. The insertion block has two opposite lateral teeth. At least a pair of L-shaped racks are disposed on the fixed peak. Each L-shaped rack has a front block and a plurality of serrations. Each lateral teeth engage with the respective serrations.

Abstract: The present invention provides a type of luminescent cap that possesses a function for replacing patterns. A frame that allows placement of objects is securely installed on the front edge of the cap. A luminescent board that emits luminescence and a pattern card are inserted in the frame that allows placement of objects. The luminescence emitted by said luminescent board can, through the transparent position of the pattern card, produce the effect of a luminescent pattern. Users are also able, according to need, to remove and replace pattern cards of different patterns, causing the cap to have greater practical value.

Abstract: An improved sweat band. The sweat band includes an elastic band adapted to fit around a user's head and a length of sponge cloth intermittently attached along spaced apart locations to the elastic band. Only the ends and spaced apart segments of the strips are attached to the elastic band, therefore allowing the elastic band to stretch without being restricted by the inelastic sponge material. In the preferred embodiment, a tubular fabric wrap surrounds the elastic band and the length of sponge cloth to provide additional absorption and also to provide comfort to the user.

Abstract: A novelty hat in the form of a ball cap having a visor defining an opening in which a miniature basketball net is mounted. The miniature net is held in position in the opening by a rim of molded plastic including respective flanges circumscribing the opening, on both the top and the bottom of the visor. A miniature basketball fits through the rim, but the opening in the bottom of the net is small enough to keep the ball from passing all the way down through the net. A keeper mounted on the rim is selectively movable to a position extending above a portion of the ball to hold the ball in the net and thus prevent the ball from being lost when the hat is not being worn.

Abstract: A hat or cap having a concave crown formed by joining panels including two side panels and a top panel. A finger panel is disposed within the crown adjacent the top panel and connected to the crown to form a finger pocket. At least one thumb panel is disposed outside the crown, adjacent one of the side panels, and connected to the crown to form a thumb pocket. The finger pocket and the thumb pocket define a glove.

Abstract: A protective facial mask system having an outer, high impact, rigid layer (of, e.g., polycarbonate) and an inner, flexible, relatively soft layer of energy absorption and dissipating material (e.g. an unaerated viscoelastic polymer). The inner, soft layer preferably has variable or different thicknesses of material (e.g., going from about an eighth of an inch minimum to about a quarter inch maximum thickness), affording greater protection to facial areas where the underlying bone structure is weaker (e.g., the nasal region), which is where in the invention the inner layer is thickest, and thinner where the bone structure is stronger (e.g. over the flanking, supra-orbital/glabella regions). The inner soft layer thereby best absorbs, redirects and dissipates the energy from impact forces to the face, protecting the facial skeleton from, for example, fracturing. Abstract: This invention is a head with a kerchief portion, a forefront portion and a billed portion. The kerchief portion is attached to the forefront portion and the billed portion is attached to the forefront portion along a weakened fold line. Both the forefront portion and the billed portion each include a reenforced central panel and a pair of reenforced side panels connected thereto by weakened fold lines. When worn, the present invention looks like a baseball cap with a kerchief attached. When the bill portion is folded juxtaposed to the forefront portion and the respective side portions are folded back on the central portions, the kerchief can be wrapped thereabout to form a compact folded headwear that can be stored in a small purse, pocket or the like when not in use.

Abstract: A head cooling device for mounting over a person's head, generally within a headgear or a safety helmet. The device comprises: a housing, defining a main body enclosing a generally closed pocket, for containing ice cubes therein, a mouth, at one end of the main body, and an intermediate flooring, for supporting the ice cubes inside the pocket spacedly from the mouth. Thus, the flooring remains spaced at all times from the scalp by a spacing gap. The flooring is bored at its periphery, for enabling water droplets from the melting ice cubes to escape one at a time from the pocket, freely through the spacing gap and toward and against the person's head scalp. Flexible bands are used, integral to the housing, for releasably anchoring the housing to the head in generally overhanging fashion.

Abstract: An adjustable shower and rain cap is provided, which consists of a headband worn about a head of a person. A waterproof pliable crown is affixed to the headband, so as to extend over the head of the person at different changeable heights. A structure is for retaining the crown in any one of the different changeable heights, so that the crown can cover any one of a number of different types of hairdos and keep it dry.

Abstract: A baseball cap having one or more pennant panels attached to the cap crown bearing a graphic of a particular theme such as being emblazoned with colors and marked with a sports team identifier to resemble miniature pennants. The pennant panels are detachably affixed to allow ready replacement with pennant panels having other graphic displays.

Abstract: A hat has a shell of general hemispherical shape with an open bottom, a peripheral edge around the open bottom and an interior. A visor, having an inside edge and an outside edge, is flexibly attached along a section of the peripheral edge to the shell and extends substantially perpendicularly away from the shell. The visor has a plurality of fold lines extending from its inside edge to its outside edge. The fold lines allow the visor to be folded to a reduced size and tucked into the interior of the hat to form a purse.

Abstract: A sun shield for use with conventional caps having a front bill and a rear band. The sun shield includes a piece of fabric forming a shield portion with a hem along the top edge of the fabric. A strap connects to the hem. The loop so formed is sized to fit around the cap with the strap positioned immediately above the bill. A sleeve formed between two vertical slits or an openable flap in the upper back hem allows insertion of the band of the cap, thus securing the sun shield to the cap.

Abstract: An emblem bearing cap attachment has a substantially planar, relatively stiff body defining a forward surface and a rearward surface. A primary crease or folding line extends centrally across the planar body defining an upper facing panel and a lower backing panel. The folding line facilitates folding of the body about and capturing the adjustable straps of a baseball style cap to position the rearward surface of the facing panel in confronting relationship with the rearward surface of the backing panel whereat are fastening means to secure the panels together. The facing panel completely closes the semicircular opening at the rear of the cap and allows the display of emblems or other indicia thereon.

Abstract: Disclosed is an Africanize honey bee protective bag for temporary emergency protection of a person against stinging attack by a swarm of bees. A lightweight, compact, single-use, flexible plastic upper body protective garment is carried by a user when travelling in bee infested areas. The Africanize honey bee protective bag comprises a generally rectangular transparent plastic bag for enclosing the upper body of the user. The plastic bag comprises a plastic sheet folded to form a closed top and sealed along each edge to define an open bottom having a circumference adapted to fit over the shoulders of the user. A circular opening is formed through one side of the bag proximal the closed top thereof wherethrough breathing air for the user may flow. A discoid mesh screen is attached to the bag such to cover the circular opening for preventing bees from entering the bag while simultaneously allowing breathing air to pass freely through.
