Abstract: A table game system is provided capable of identifying shuffled playing cards used at the time of the occurrence of a problem in a card shoe apparatus, thereby enabling an investigation of the cause thereof or the taking of countermeasures therefor. A card shoe apparatus of the table game system of the present invention includes a barcode reader that reads a barcode provided in a shuffled playing card set, thereby reading a shuffled card ID that uniquely identifies the shuffled playing card set. A sensor for detecting the opening/closing of the lid is provided under the lid to detect the opening/closing of the lid, thereby detecting replacement of the shuffled playing card set. A control unit further includes a function of storing security items in connection with a shuffled card ID.

Abstract: A simulated dissectible tissue model for practicing surgical skills is provided. The simulated tissue comprises a simulated anatomical structure, such as one or more artificial vessel, embedded with a silicone gel layer between two silicone layers. The simulated dissectible tissue, with or without a simulated anatomical structure, is connected to one or more artificial organ via a fiberfill layer. The fiberfill layer includes a plurality of entangled fibers embedded between two adjacent silicone layers. The fiberfill layer creates a dissection plane that permits the one or more artificial organ to be removed by spreading apart and selectively dissecting the chains of entangled fibers. Artificial nerves may be included in fiberfill layer.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described herein for controlling movement of a platform in a dice gaming system. In one aspect, a dice system may include a platform and at least one member extending from the platform. The at least one member may include at least one magnet. The system may also include a first magnetic movement limiter positioned in a first direction from the at least one magnet and a second magnetic movement limiter positioned in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the at least one magnet. The first magnetic movement limiter and the second magnetic movement limiter may limit movement of the member in the first and second directions.

Abstract: A levitating ball assembly for soothing anxiety in a user includes a cage that can be gripped by a user. A plurality of magnets is each coupled to the cage. A ball is movably positioned in the cage such that the ball freely moves within the cage. The ball is comprised of a magnetized material and the ball has a magnetic polarity that is opposite of a magnetic polarity of each of the magnets. Thus, the ball is levitated in the cage to be manipulated by the user.

Abstract: There described a computerized yo-yo toy that uses an acceleration measuring device, a computation and control device, a communication device and an electric clutch device to effect the motion of the computerized yo-yo toy. The acceleration measuring device measures the acceleration values of the computerized yo-yo toy. The computation and control device uses the measured acceleration values to generate control signals to the electric clutch device. The electric clutch device creates or eliminates friction with an outer case of a ball bearing, based on the control signals, to affect the motion of the computerized yo-yo toy. The communication device receives setup parameters from an external device and transmits the setup parameters to the computation and control device. The computation and control device may further generate the control signals to the electric clutch device based on the setup parameters.
