Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for initiating pairing of wireless surgical instruments to a modular energy system are disclosed herein. In various aspects, a modular energy system includes an a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader that is configured to read an RFID card that is uniquely associated with a surgical instrument. When the RFID reader reads the RFID card, the RFID reader initiates a wireless pairing process with the surgical instrument. Initiating the wireless pairing process may include causing the module energy system to wirelessly search for the surgical instrument and causing a display screen to display instructions for wirelessly pairing the surgical instrument.

  • Patent number: 11978546
Abstract: Adaptive on board estimation of exogenous pharmacon responsive to transient (i.e., impermanent) physiological effects is provided. Dynamically estimating an equivalent amount of an exogenous pharmacon on board (XOB), such as insulin and/or carbohydrates, left in the subject, is based on predictions of glucose time-series data. These estimated values, such as insulin on board (IOB), are useful for diabetes management software, including decision support and/or artificial pancreas (AP) algorithms, for example.

  • Patent number: 11935630
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for blending data. The system may identify user behavior patterns such that relevant correlations are learned by the system and suggested to a user automatically. The system may also analyze each available data set to identify both present and potential correlations to suggest to a user. This provides an efficient means for the system to automatically narrow a compilation of data sets into a filtered group of suggested data sets for a user. Put another way, the system gathers data on user behavior and known correlations and uses various methodologies to generate new data sets to be automatically compared and catalogued.

  • Patent number: 11929155
Abstract: A system, apparatus and method for configuring notifications pursuant to a medical regimen for a patient. A communications interface receives patient data and patient feedback data associated with the patient and system patient data associated with other patients may be stored. A data model is processed for the medical regimen to calculate a baseline notification schedule based on the patient data, wherein the baseline notification schedule includes content and notification frequency for individual notifications. The patient data is processed to determine word vectors and embedded vectors. Statistical/predictive processing is executed on the processed patient feedback data to determine a patient characteristic. As a result of the statistical/predictive processing, the baseline notification schedule is modified to form a modified schedule for transmission in the system.

  • Patent number: 11922373
Abstract: An automated system updates electronic medical records (EMRs) based on dictated reports, without requiring manual data entry into on-screen forms. A dictated report is transcribed by an automatic speech recognizer, and facts are extracted from the report and stored in encoded form. Information from a patient's report is also stored in encoded form. The resulting encoded information from the report and EMR are reconciled with each other, and changes to be made to the EMR are identified based on the reconciliation. The identified changes are made to the EMR automatically, without requiring manual data entry into the EMR.

  • Patent number: 11865199
Abstract: A method is disclosed whereby consumers enrolled in a prescription benefit plan can obtain prescription medication fulfillment at any participating pharmacy of their choice, regardless of whether the fulfillment is by a retail pharmacy or a mail order pharmacy, and whether the quantity of medication prescribed is for administration over a short period (acute care) or a prolonged period (maintenance). The plan of this invention operates by having the plan manager substantially equalize the financial effects of the discounts and services fees allowed to participating pharmacies such that both retail and mail order pharmacies are compensated in a manner which encourages them to accept all consumers and fill all prescriptions. Compensation is preferably adjusted periodically by the manager to retain pharmacy incentives. Consumers obtain choice of pharmacies, plan payers have pleased employees and members and pharmacies obtain income from the entire spectrum of consumers.

  • Patent number: 11869644
Abstract: A depression scoring system obtains data from a large population of individuals including data about each of a plurality of different activities in relevant categories, and information about each of the individuals. Cohorts of individuals are defined as individuals who have similar statistical characteristics such as similar age, socioeconomic status, and sex. For each of the cohorts, a distribution of the data is obtained, and the scores of the top n %, e.g., 25% is set as a goal for the remaining members of the cohort. These goals are incrementally set and personalized for individual users to easily meet. This process is repeated constantly.

  • Patent number: 11766238
Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-modality data processing are provided. Some embodiments are particularly directed to navigating sets of multi-modality medical data in a multi-modality processing system. In one embodiment, a method for navigating medical data in a medical processing system includes receiving a reference set of medical data by the medical processing system, where the medical data corresponds to a modality selected from the group consisting of: FFR, iFR, pressure, flow, IVUS, and OCT. The medical processing system also receives a navigation command. An enhancement and a subset of the reference set of medical data to enhance are identified based on the navigation command. The medical processing system performs the selected enhancement on the subset of data and the enhanced subset is displayed. The enhancement may include performing a single-axis zoom on the subset.

  • Patent number: 11742081
Abstract: A computer system selects features of a dataset for predictive modeling. A first set of features that are relevant to outcome are selected from a dataset comprising a plurality of cases and controls. A subset of cases and controls having similar values for the first set of features is identified. The subset is analyzed to select a set of additional features relevant to outcome. A first and second predictive model are evaluated to determine that the second predictive model more accurately predicts outcome, wherein the first predictive model is based on the first set of features and the second predictive model is based on the first set of features and the additional features. The second predictive model is utilized to predict outcomes. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and program product for selecting features of a dataset for predictive modeling in substantially the same manner described above.
