Abstract: The invention provides a multijoint cable protection and guide device that steadily protects and guides cables and the like that assume flexed and straight postures. The device includes a flexible belt member in which a plurality of center tubular portions through which cables are inserted and a pair of right and left side tubular portions disposed in parallel along the center tubular portions. The center tubular portions and the pair of right and left side tubular portions are integrally molded. A pair of right and left multijoint supporting members is inserted through side tubular portions of the flexible belt member. The multijoint supporting member is composed of a large number of block bodies that are flexibly connected together by concave-convex fittings.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for fixing a hard disk drive includes a bracket receiving the hard disk drive with a locating pin extending from each of opposite sidewalls, and a rotating member. The bracket includes two opposite supporting walls and an end wall. Each supporting wall defines a latching slot. The locating pins are slidably inserted into the corresponding latching slots. The rotating member includes a fixing pole slidably abutting against the hard disk drive toward the end wall, two rotating poles respectively extending from two opposite ends of the fixing pole and rotatably connected to the corresponding supporting walls, and a latching pole extending from a distal end of one of the rotating poles to be detachably latched to one of the supporting walls.

Abstract: The invention relates to a floral arrangement device (100) comprising at least one ring of circularly arranged leaves (120) with a free-standing upper region (121) and a lower region (122), by means of which they are joined to form a stable unit via a support device. According to the invention, detachably fixed variations of a basic layout are enabled in that each leave (120) is connected in the region of its lower end (122) to a pivoting arm (110) which is pivotably mounted to a hinge (131, 151), wherein the angle of said pivoting arm can be adjusted with respect to the horizontal by means of an adjustment device.

Abstract: An outdoor umbrella stabilizer system for preventing wind damage to an outdoor umbrella having a plurality of cords, a plurality of clips and a means of securing the cords to a weighted object. The stabilizer system flexibly maintains the canopy in position, preventing strong winds from catching the canopy and twisting, warping, contorting, buckling or deforming the umbrella, thereby stabilizing the outdoor umbrella. The stabilizer system installs on many styles of outdoor umbrellas, including a cantilever, a beach umbrella, a deck or patio umbrella, a center pole or vertical pole of the umbrella unnecessary for installation. The stabilizer system has a sac containing ballast as a weighted object. The cords attach to the sac. For an umbrella accommodated by a table having a center hold for the umbrella, the table is the weighted object, the cords attaching to the legs.

Abstract: A container mixing stand including a base plate, and a first wall and a second wall connected to the base plate, where the first wall is spaced from the second wall for receiving a container between the first and second walls. A tensioning mechanism independent of the first wall and the second wall is positioned adjacent to at least one of the first wall and the second wall. The tensioning mechanism is movable between a rest position and a tensioning position, where moving the tensioning mechanism to the tensioning position causes at least one of the first wall and the second wall to move along the base plate toward the container and secure the container between the first wall and the second wall.

Abstract: An assembly to attach a display device to a support includes a body attachable to a display device support and a mounting member to which a display device is mountable, the mounting member including a collar that defines an axis about which the mounting member is rotatable relative to the body, the collar having a curved inwardly facing seat, the assembly further comprising a biasing member and a resiliently deformable friction element on the body, the biasing member and the friction element being received in the collar with the mating surface facing the seat when the assembly is assembled such that, when the biasing member is moved in an axial direction into the friction element, the biasing member acts on the friction element and the friction element is resiliently deformed by the biasing member to urge its mating surface against the seat to increase the frictional force therebetween.

Abstract: A holding device used to temporarily hold a container of popcorn in an upright position using a nearby beverage cup holder. The holding device includes a planar main body with a forward extending, transversely aligned curb with a planar receiving space formed below the curb. Formed on the receiving space is a line of raised teeth separated by indentations and at least one spike. Mounted on the main body is a biased, pivoting clip with a lower serrated edge that forcibly presses into the indentations formed between the raised teeth on the receiving space. Located on the rear surface of the main body is a downward extending beverage cup edge engaging structure. Attached to the main body or the cup edge engaging structure is a handle. During use, the serrated edge on the clip is forced against the edge of the popcorn container to prevent its dislodgement.

Abstract: A display panel mounting assembly includes a dome-shaped lower bearing member on a support member, an upper bearing member, and a carrier member attached to the display panel and held between the upper and lower bearing members. The lower bearing member has a central bore and a pair of stops projecting from opposite sides of the bore. The carrier member has a opening which receives the stops. A stop post projects from the support member adjacent the bearing member. An aperture which receives the post is formed in the carrier spaced apart from the opening. The opening and the tabs cooperating to control pivoting of the carrier member with respect to the support member in one degree of freedom. The aperture and the post cooperate to control pivoting of the carrier member in a second degree of freedom.

The fastener can lock in any position along the locking slot, such that the slider can maintain different positions and resist the positioning member by moving relative to the supporting member.

Abstract: A microphone is mounted to apparatus in order to receive sound from a sound source. The apparatus has a microphone clamp to secure different microphones to a variety of musical instruments and other sound sources and may be used to directly mount a microphone to a variety of clamping surfaces. The mounting apparatus incorporates a dual jaw design to allow for easy, fast, and secure mounting to the clamping surface. The apparatus supports a quick release mechanism for easy and fast engagement and disengagement of the dual jaws, consequently reducing time needed to securely clamp and remove the mounting apparatus with the clamping surface. The release mechanism may include a dowel release having a hole through which the jaw stud is situated. The hole has two curved surfaces so that one of jaws may be moved without turning the jaw stud when the dowel release is depressed.

Abstract: A leaf-cartwheel flexure for coupling an object to a frame includes a leaf flexure for mounting to an object and a cartwheel hinge for mounting to the frame. The leaf flexure defines an axis of contraflexure and the cartwheel hinge is bendable about a rotational axis. The cartwheel hinge is coupled to the leaf flexure and positioned such that the rotational axis substantially aligns with the axis of contraflexure. A system and a method for mounting a component utilize three such leaf-cartwheel flexures for mounting the component to a frame, in which the flexures are approximately equidistant from each other about the component.

Abstract: A riser lock unit is provided for quick and easy mounting onto an elevated sprinkler riser. The riser lock unit functions to retain or maintain the sprinkler riser in an elevated position, without normal spring-loaded retraction into an underlying sprinkler housing, to facilitate service and/or replacement of a sprinkler nozzle head mounted at the upper end of the riser. When desired, the riser lock unit is quickly and easily removed from the sprinkler riser.

Preferred embodiments include a mounting plate for attachment to a restroom stall wall, door or the like. The mounting plate includes an upper end and a lower end.
