  • Patent number: 11813497
Abstract: A parallel resistance rowing machine is an apparatus that provides adjustable, independent resistance to a user to perform rowing exercises that isolate and emphasize various laterally opposed muscle groups. The parallel resistance rowing machine uses a first resistance assembly and a second resistance assembly mounted to an axle within a chassis. The first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly are selectably interconnected by a clutch mechanism, enabling a first handle and a second handle to be moved independently or in concert under resistance from the first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly, respectively. An elongate frame supports a slidable seat assembly, further supporting a full-body rowing action as the user exerts themselves against the first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly.

  • Patent number: 11745048
Abstract: A bi-directional exercise machine has a work arm, first and second cams coupled to the work arm, a resistance mechanism, and a pulley assembly that couples the resistance mechanism to the work arm via the first and second cams so that movement of the work arm is resisted by the resistance mechanism according to first and second resistance profiles provided by the first and second cams, respectfully. A primary pulley cable has a first end coupled to the first cam and a second end coupled to the second cam. When the work arm is in a rest position, the ends of the primary pulley cable extend from cable tracks of the cams, respectively, at a tangent so that the resistance mechanism applies a resistance force on the work arm via the pulley assembly immediately upon movement of the work arm out of the rest position.

  • Patent number: 11738250
Abstract: A motorized treadmill includes a base, an endless belt movable relative to the base for allowing a user to exercise thereon, a motor coupled to the endless belt for driving the endless belt to rotate, a current sensor coupled to the motor, and a controller in communication with the motor and the current sensor. The current sensor is configured to detect a motor current of the motor when using the motorized treadmill. The controller is configured to analyze fluctuations of the motor current to determine whether objects or children interfere with rotation of the endless belt. When the current sensor detects a current change not associated with the user of the motorized treadmill, the controller determines that the endless belt is interfered by objects or children and stops operation of the motor to slow or stop rotation of the endless belt.
