In one example method, a terminal performs channel estimation on a subcarrier on which a downlink pilot is located, and obtains first channel information. The terminal performs a channel interpolation calculation on a channel of a data subcarrier according to the first channel information, and obtains second channel information according to a result of the channel interpolation calculation. The terminal determines a feedback factor, and obtains third channel information from the second channel information according to the feedback factor, where an amount of the third channel information is less than an amount of the second channel information. The terminal feeds back the third channel information to a base station. Some channel information is selected and fed back by means of a feedback factor.

    Abstract: Systems and methods to detect abnormal behavior of cell sites and/or customers are disclosed. By detecting cell site and/or customer behavior anomalies, the system enhances capacity planning by helping understand congestion, more efficiently planning event sites, suggesting installation of temporary solutions, identifying when true traffic needs are increased, and detecting abnormal customer behavior and/or demand. The system accesses historical data for a set of KPIs (e.g., 3 months of hourly data that captures traffic, users, Physical Resource Block (PRB), and throughput). The system computes, for periodic time intervals (e.g., for each hour and each day), upper and lower limits for each site and for each KPI. Using this information, the system detects anomalies for current KPI measurements. The system sends alerts when anomalies are detected for a threshold period of time (e.g., when the KPI measurement falls outside of the computed upper and/or lower bounds continuously for 2-3 hours).

In some embodiments, a bit map in a control signaling packet may indicate if certain information elements that correspond to configuration parameters are present or absent. When they are absent, predetermined values for the corresponding configuration parameters may be used, whereas when they are present, predefined values from a set of predefined values may be used. In other embodiments, the predetermined values may be periodically updated.
