Abstract: A method for providing a visual indication of the security threat awareness level is disclosed. Such a visual indication helps improve the security of a device or an enterprise by giving a user an indication of the security risks associated with currently open and active applications. In turn, the user can use the visual indication as a cue to take mitigating actions to reduce the security risk, such as by using the application more carefully or by exiting the application. Each application is assigned a security score and the system determines the security threat awareness level based on the security score(s) of the open and active applications.

Abstract: Machine data of an operating environment is conveyed by a network to a data intake and query system (DIQS) which reflects the machine data as timestamped entries of a field-searchable datastore. Monitoring functionality may search the machine data to identify notable event instances. A notable event processing system correlates the notable event instance to one or more triaging models which are executed against the notable event to produce a modeled result. Information of the received notable event and the modeled results are combined into an enhanced representation of a notable event instance. The enhanced representation conditions downstream processing to automatically perform or assist triaging of notable event instances to optimize application of computing resources to highest priority conditions in the operating environment.

Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods that facilitate user review and uploading of files comprising medical images and associated metadata from a local computing device to a network-based image analysis and/or decision support platform. The systems and methods described herein allow image upload to be performed in a secure fashion that prevents the network-based platform from accessing sensitive data as it is prepared for upload. Prior to file upload, sensitive data elements are flagged and their values removed and/or masked. Notably, the approaches described herein provide intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) tools that allow a user, such as a medical practitioner or researcher, to review not only the images and metadata in the files that they plan to upload, but also to review and control the process by which sensitive data elements are removed and/masked, thereby confirming that all files are free of sensitive information prior to upload.
