Abstract: In aspects of selectable response options displayed based-on device grip position, a wireless device has a display screen to display an incoming notification associated with a device application, and actionable responses are associated with the incoming notification. The wireless device implements a grip detection module to detect a device grip position of a user grip holding the wireless device. The wireless device also implements a notification control module to determine the actionable responses of the incoming notification. The notification control module can also initiate to display selectable response options corresponding to the actionable responses associated with the incoming notification, where the selectable response options are displayable along a display edge of the display screen proximate the device grip position.

Abstract: Graphical user interface (GUI) based systems and methods are disclosed for regionizing full-size process plant displays for rendering on mobile user interface devices. A regionizer application receives a full-size process plant display that graphically represents at least a portion of a process plant that includes graphic representations of a plurality of process plant entities. The regionizer app determines display region(s) of the full-size process plant display that define corresponding view portions of the full-size process plant display. The display regions are transmitted to a mobile user interface device for rendering by a mobile display navigation app. The GUI based systems and methods can also automatically detect graphical process control loop display portions within full-size process plant displays for rendering on mobile user interface devices.

The client device includes a memory, a GUI, and a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory to cause the client device to: instruct the GUI to display an onboarding menu including a user selectable onboard extender icon; instruct the extender device to onboard onto the main APD, in response to a user selection of the user selectable onboard extender icon; instruct the GUI to enable the user to perform an operation while the extender device performs the onboarding onto the main APD; instruct the GUI to display a successful onboarding indication if the extender device onboards onto the main APD within a predetermined period of time, or to display a failure onboarding indication if the extender device does not onboard onto the main APD within the predetermined period of time.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for creating a customized electronic data sheet (EDS), which involves receiving inputs at a graphical user interface (GUI), and executing program instructions at one or more processors to perform operations that include: receiving layout instructions, through the GUI, in connection with a page layout to be rendered on a display in connection with entering and viewing clinical data of an EDS building a nested EDS database structure, based on the layout instructions, that includes page objects, panel objects and panel item objects nested within one another, the nested EDS database structure defining a manner in which the GUI renders the page layout on the display receiving a rule designation through the GUI generating a binding rule, based on the rule designation, that binds clinical data to at least one of the page objects, panel objects or panel item objects, the binding rule designating an operation to be automatically performed based on the clinical data.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are display systems, methods, devices, and machine-readable mediums which provide for a gesture-based method for specifying a region of a display in which to show shared content. Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for robust radar-based gesture-recognition. A radar system (104) detects radar-based gestures on behalf of application subscribers. A state machine (2000) transitions between multiple states based on inertial sensor data. A no-gating state (2002) enables the radar system (104) to output radar-based gestures to application subscribers. The state machine (2000) also includes a soft-gating state (2004) that prevents the radar system (104) from outputting the radar-based gestures to the application subscribers. A hard-gating state (2006) prevents the radar system (104) from detecting radar-based gestures altogether. The techniques and systems enable the radar system (104) to determine when not to perform gesture-recognition, enabling user equipment (102) to automatically reconfigure the radar system (104) to meet user demand.

The financial data includes a plurality of available indicator values, where each indicator value corresponds to information relevant to the stocks. A visualization module is configured to provide a navigation bar on a user's display device, enabling the user to select a plurality of indicators from a list of available indicator values, for visualization of the indicators on the user's display device. The visualization module further provides information for displaying a plurality of tiles on the display device, each tile representing a stock from a selected universe of stocks, wherein each tile includes a multi-dimensional information corresponding to one or more indicators from the user selected indicators. Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating interactions with embedded devices are provided. In one embodiment, a method can include obtaining a first set of data indicative of at least a plurality of interactions between a user device and a plurality of embedded devices associated with a building, and one or more locations of the user device associated with each respective interaction.
