  • Patent number: 8706892
Abstract: A SOAP-SIP adapter 2 establishes a session with the terminals 5b and 5c in accordance with a SIP. At this time, the SOAP-SIP adapter 2 sends an INVITE message including its own IP address and port number to the terminals 5b and 5c. Each terminal 5b, 5c sends a 200 OK including its own IP address and port number to the SOAP-SIP adapter 2. The SOAP-SIP adapter 2 stores correspondingly the IP address and port number of each terminal 5b, 5c in a memory. The SOAP-SIP adapter 2 transfers a media stream received from each terminal 5b, 5c to the destination of the corresponding IP address and port number by referring to the memory. Also, a pseudo RBT is sent to the terminal A5b from establishing the session with the terminal A5b till establishing the session with the terminal B5c to prevent a silent state.

  • Patent number: 8639816
Abstract: A network provides distributed computing services based on participation in respective resource groups by computing nodes, each resource group including a corresponding resource requirement for any computing node that joins the corresponding resource group for execution of the corresponding distributed computing service. Each computing node, in response to determining its corresponding available node capacity, is configured for selectively creating and joining at least one new resource group for execution of a corresponding distributed computing service having a corresponding resource requirement, and/or selectively joining at least one of the available resource groups, based on the corresponding available node capacity satisfying the corresponding resource requirement. Each computing node also is configured for selectively leaving any one of the joined resource groups based on determined conditions.

  • Patent number: 8606963
Abstract: The invention relates to a method performed by a home agent serving a mobile node in a home network upon attachment of a mobile node to the home network as well as to the home agent. The invention also relates to a method for enabling simultaneous use of a plurality of interfaces by a mobile node being attached to a home network through one of the plurality of interfaces and to at least one foreign network through at least another interface of the plurality of interfaces. Moreover, the invention provides a mobile node and a proxy acting on behalf of the mobile node. To enable a mobile node to use a home network and at least one foreign network for communications the invention suggests the registration of the mobile node's home address or of a network node's address within its home network as a care-of address in the home network.

  • Patent number: 8564656
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for recognizing surface characteristics of metallurgical products, especially continuously cast products and rolled products. According to said method, a defined section of the product surface (12, 12?) is irradiated by at least two radiation sources of different wavelengths, from different directions, and the irradiated surface section is optoelectronically detected. Three light sources (21, 22, 23) are oriented towards the product surface (12, 12?), as radiation sources, under the same angle (a), the positions thereof being in three planes (E1, E2, E3) forming a 120 DEG angle and being perpendicular to the product surface (12, 12?). In this way, instructive information about metallurgical products can be determined and stored in a very short space of time such that the products can be determined in a perfectly identified manner for the reprocessing, in terms of the surface quality or surface structure thereof.

  • Patent number: 8549137
Abstract: Diverting condition storage unit 15 stores diverting conditions describing conditions for hardware configurations and software configurations. Monitoring data storage unit 13 stores monitoring data on the hardware configurations and the software configurations on monitored devices. Monitoring setting information storage unit stores monitoring setting information on the monitored devices. By referencing monitoring data and diverting conditions, first setting-diverting unit judges if monitoring setting information set in a monitored device may be diverted as monitoring setting information on another monitored device and outputs the result to a management terminal. The system administrator diverts the monitoring setting information among multiple monitored devices based on judgment result.

  • Patent number: 8549124
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for discovering network paths between network devices in a distance-vector network are provided. The method may include providing a node model of network devices in a distance-vector network. The node model may include a network address corresponding to a network device. The network address may be used to query the network device for routing information. This routing information may be used to identify another network address corresponding to a second network device, and to identify a path from the first network device to the second network device. These devices and the path therebetween may be mapped in the node model. Finally, the second network device may be queried for subsequent routing information to identify and map subsequent devices and paths.
