  • Patent number: 11816672
Abstract: Provided is dynamic and flexible authentication based on an interaction over a communications link between a user device and a financial entity. A set of interactions enabled at the user device are categorized into different levels, each level comprises a different authentication policy. At about the same time as an interaction is initiated at the device, an authentication policy assigned to the interaction is accessed and a security challenge is activated at the device. Based upon a successful response to the security challenge, an enablement of the communications link is continued. Based upon an unsuccessful response to the security challenge, the communications link is disabled.

  • Patent number: 11810425
Abstract: A system for optimizing music listening which enables a player to earn game based electronic lottery tokens. A lottery game token music platform may be accessed via a mobile application or website from a client system. A player may earn electronic cryptographic raffle/lottery tickets/tokens by listening to sound recordings via the lottery game token music platform and/or watching videos containing sound. Analytics are processed based on the player's listening behavior, including statics regarding the player's consumption of the sound recordings, biometrics regarding the user's identify to verify that the user is not a bot, and listening engagement scores. In this way, tokens may be allocated based on how long the player listens to the song and other additional affirmative actions. Tokens earned by players are then placed into a raffle lottery to award cash prizes. A random number generator may be used to determine the lottery winners.

  • Patent number: 11797994
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for securing electronic devices, such as financial payment terminals, to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to confidential information. In embodiments, this is achieved without having to rely on the availability of backup energy sources. In certain embodiments, tampering attempts are thwarted by using a virtually perfect PUF circuit and PUF-generated secret or private key within a payment terminal that does not require a battery backup system and, thus, eliminates the cost associated with common battery-backed security systems. In certain embodiments, during regular operation, sensors constantly monitor the to-be-protected electronic device for tampering attempts and physical attack to ensure the physical integrity.

  • Patent number: 11790360
Abstract: A simulation method implemented at least in part at a node of a blockchain network enables detection of suspected malicious behaviour. When a purchase of a token of interest by a user is detected, information about other queued transactions awaiting committal to the blockchain is retrieved, and a batch of probing transactions is constructed using the information about the queued transactions. The batch includes a probing transaction representing a sale of the token by the user. At the node, the state of the blockchain is overridden so that the user's wallet and other wallets appear to contain bytecode executable to aggregate multiple transactions into a single call, and the batch of transactions is thus executed in a single call. The results are evaluated to determine whether the sale of the token by the user was successful. If the evaluation is not successful, remedial action may be taken.

  • Patent number: 11775973
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for authenticating access to an account using questions which allow users to provide textual information about transactions conducted by an account. A machine learning model may be trained to predict the guessability of merchants. A request for access to an account may be received, and transaction data for that account may be received. An authentication question may be presented. For example, a user may be prompted to list places they have shopped recently. A user response comprising text data may be received. The text data may be processed to identify one or more merchants. If the one or more merchant(s) are represented in the transaction data, the machine learning model may be used to determine the guessability of the one or more merchants. An authentication score may be determined based on the guessability, and access to the account may be provided.
