Abstract: If a user loses an electronic device that has the capability to conduct financial transactions, the user may report that the electronic device is lost using a lost-device software application to a management electronic device associated with a provider of the electronic device. In response to receiving this information, a disabling command is sent to a payment network associated with the financial account of the user to temporarily disable use of the electronic device to conduct the financial transactions. In particular, the electronic device may include a secure element that stores a payment applet for a financial account, and the disabling command may disable a mapping from a virtual identifier for the financial account to a financial primary account number. Subsequently, if the user finds the electronic device, the user may re-enable the capability (and, thus, the mapping) by providing authentication information to the electronic device.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for crowdsourced funding via a blockchain system. A token contract, associated with a token issuer, is generated on a blockchain system. Tokens are issued to a plurality of token holders. Each of the plurality of token holders is allowed access to a feedback mechanism associated with the token issuer. A performance of the token issuer in an associated field is monitored to provide at least one performance metric. A dividend is paid to each token holder proportional to a number of tokens held by the token holder after a predetermined amount of time based on the at least one performance metric.

Abstract: A payment integrated loyalty system including a point of sale terminal comprising a card reader, a communication subsystem configured to wirelessly communicate with a payment instrument, and configured to communicate over a network with at least a first and second server. The payment integrated loyalty system includes a processor in communication with the communication subsystem and card reader, configured to receive, through the communication subsystem, a payment instrument identifier associated with the payment instrument, and obtain a fingerprint based on one-way encrypting the payment instrument identifier. The processor is further configured to receive, from the first server via the communication subsystem, a loyalty balance associated with the fingerprint and to complete the financial transaction based on an updated amount based on the loyalty balance.

Abstract: A mobile wallet computer server receives a fund access request from a user device. The fund access request is made in connection with a payment transaction. The mobile wallet server generates a tokenized card number, transmits the tokenized card number to the user device, and receives receive the tokenized card number from a card network computer system after having been routed from the user device via a merchant computer system and via an acquirer processor computer system. The mobile wallet computer server converts the tokenized card number to the actual credit card account number of the user and transmits the actual credit card account number to the card network computer system to process the payment transaction.

Abstract: A mobile device includes a display device; a processor; and a memory device configured to store instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: present, by the display device, a user interface for accessing a mobile online banking application; receive a credential for authenticating and accessing the mobile online banking application; provide, by the display device, an option to create a mobile wallet during use of the mobile online banking application; and responsive to receiving an indication to create the mobile wallet, install a mobile wallet application on the mobile device for future mobile wallet transactions.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a method of facilitating a payment transaction with a payment card of a customer. The method includes receiving a payment transaction request initiated at a merchant terminal. The payment transaction request comprising at least a merchant transaction amount associated with a purchase entered at a merchant terminal, a PIN of the payment card provided by the customer via a keypad and a customer transaction amount provided by the customer via the keypad. The method includes facilitating verification of facilitating verification of the PIN with a stored PIN. The method further includes, upon successful verification, determining whether the merchant transaction amount conforms to the customer transaction amount. The method further includes facilitating a payment transaction associated with the payment transaction request if the merchant transaction amount conforms to the customer transaction amount.

The systems and methods may support the multi-directional flow of script information to improve disease monitoring and treatment, to mitigate patient health risks like undesirable drug interactions, to identify social factors like patient ability to afford prescriptions, and to prevent prescription fraud like forged refills.

Abstract: In one aspect, the inventions include a system for control of a software defined computer network state system. First, an application plane layer is adapted to receive instructions regarding operation of the state system. Preferably, the application plane layer is coupled to an application plane layer interface. Second, a control plane layer includes an adaptive control unit, such as a cognitive computing unit, an artificial intelligence unit or a machine-learning unit. Third, a data plane layer includes an input interface to receive data input from one or more data sources. A title transfer network element is provided to transfer digital assets via a blockchain.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authentication using radio frequency tags are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for approving a requested operation from a secondary user of a resource that is controlled by a primary user may include (1) a back end comprising at least one computer processor receiving, from a mobile application that is executed by a mobile device associated with a secondary user, a requested operation involving a resource that is controlled by a primary user; (2) the back end receiving a unique identifier from the secondary user mobile application, the unique identifier being read by the mobile application from a tag associated with the secondary user; (3) the back end determining that the received unique identifier matches a stored unique identifier that is associated with the secondary user; and (4) the back end approving the requested operation and communicating the approval to the secondary user mobile application.

Abstract: A transaction is pre-staged by providing transaction preferences, such as a financial instrument, a transaction type, and a transaction amount, to a user device. The user device captures a visual code at a terminal, such as an ATM. The visual code includes terminal attributes, including a signed hash and call-back URI. The user device authenticates the visual code using the signed hash and requests the transaction through the issuer server. The issuer server creates and sends the card data to the call-back URI. The terminal uses the card data to create a transaction request it routes to through its acquirer server.

Abstract: A system supports symmetric release of cryptologically-locked asset transactions. A leading exchange party and a reciprocal exchange party establish, at least in part, a peer challenge in a pre-exchange proposal. The reciprocal party uses the peer challenge to lock a cryptologically-locked asset transaction. The solution to the peer challenge corresponds to an exchange key controlled by the leading exchange party. After establishment of the cryptologically-locked asset transaction, the leading party may request that exchange logic initiate release of the cryptologically-locked asset transaction. In response to the request, the exchange logic may execute a symmetric release of the exchange key and/or signature to the reciprocal exchange party and cryptologically-locked asset transaction (such that the asset is transferred to the leading exchange party).

Abstract: An example transaction-enabled system may include a smart contract wrapper to access a distributed ledger comprising intellectual property (IP) licensing terms corresponding to IP assets, wherein the IP licensing terms include an apportionment of royalties among owning entities in the distributed ledger. The smart contract wrapper may interpret an IP description value and an IP addition request, and, in response to the IP addition request and the IP description value, to add the apportionment of royalties corresponding to the IP description value. At least one of the plurality of IP assets comprises an instruction set and an operation on the distributed ledger provides provable access to the instruction set. A royalty apportionment wrapper apportions royalties from at least one royalty generating element to owning entities in response to the IP licensing terms.

An identify of a user associated with each of the enhanced and the first toughened HD wallets is verifiable by an external blockchain network because of the identity registration and certification procedures.
