Abstract: In an embodiment, a drill nozzle includes a housing having a bristle brush ring attached. The housing of the drill nozzle may include an air intake, multiple coolant inlets, multiple coolant jets, a vacuum tube, and mounting flanges. The air intake may provide a thrust-vectored down draft into the vacuum tube. The coolant inlets may receive coolant fluid that may be expelled from the coolant jets towards a drill bit. Drilling debris and coolant fluid may be contained inside the bristle brush ring preventing damage and soiling of surrounding structures and areas and may be extracted with the vacuum tube. The drill nozzle may be attached to a drill motor unit of a numerically controlled drill jig, enabling the use of such numerically controlled drill jig for drilling high quality holes effectively into non-flat surfaces, for example, the leading edge extension spar of the F-18 aircraft.

Abstract: The present invention is a specimen capture and collection form that utilizes a self laminating form assembly having first and second separable parts one of which is used in the collection, capture and retention of a sample of material to be analyzed and the other of which is used for recording the particular transaction for which the sample of specimen was collected. The form assembly is also provided with a unique element which enables the separation of excess sample collection material to be easily and conveniently separated from the remainder of the form assembly so as to not contaminate the specimen as well as prevent the inadvertent removal of the specimen from the form assembly. The construction is also provided with distinct verification areas to confirm authenticity of the form construction.

The single-sheet registration form and key packet includes lines of perforations for separating the registration form from the key packet and for quickly folding the key packet in order to construct the key packet during the registration process. Additionally, the key-packet portion of the single-sheet registration form and key packet includes dye-cut slots for inserting magnetic key cards and metal keys.
Abstract: A flexible, preferably elastic empanelled book cover (12) that has pocket portions (25) to receive the covers of a book (10) that is inserted therein. The cover (12) consists of a unitary hexagonal sheet of pliable material such as “SPANDEX”, having extended upper and lower edges, with each edge bisected by a slot (32) of predetermined width that extends orthogonally. Fold lines (34, 36 and 38) form a laterally-extended rectangle, with the side fold lines (38) forming the lateral apices of the hexagon two triangular flap portions (20) of the cover pockets. The in-folded upper and lower flap portions of the hexagon are attached to each other and to the triangular side flap portions, to form the pocket portion (25), with lock stitching (27) at the innermost juncture by the spine opening. A central top and bottom fold-over engages the spine of the book in stabilizing relation. The unitary hexagonal blanks can be economically mass produced from roll material (40).
Abstract: An apparatus and method for separately boring precisely aligned opposing screw holes in individual frame members to be matingly joined at a miter joint. The apparatus comprises a first boring means for boring a first screw hole in the first frame member, a second boring means for boring a pilot screw hole in the second frame member, a carriage assembly on which the boring means are mounted and positioned relative to the miter-cut ends of the frame so that the separately bored first and pilot screw holes share a common centerline; and, a positioning means for supporting and precisely positioning the miter-cut end of the frame member in a repetitively consistent location to ensure that the first and pilot screw holes are identically located and aligned on each of the bored first and second frame members.
Abstract: A digital clock mounted within a flap overlying the spine of a notepad on a notepad cover is provided. A raised bezel or surround constructed from a soft, pliable material, such as soft polyvinylchloride (PVC), covers a portion of the clock chip, exposing its digital readout. Detents or holes may be provided for inserting pens or other blunt instruments for setting the clock. A port is provided in the flap to access the underside of the clock chip, and can be covered, along the underside of the flap, with a piece of elastic material. By moving the elastic material aside, access to the battery of the clock chip is provided.

Abstract: An apparatus and method of delivering bubble solution to a bubble solution dipping container are disclosed. The apparatus has a housing, a dipping chamber associated with the housing, a source of bubble solution and a tube coupling the source of bubble solution with the dipping chamber. The tube has one end positioned inside the dipping chamber and another end coupled to the source of the bubble solution. A blocking ceiling can be positioned in the dipping chamber over the end of the tube so as to deflect bubble solution ejected from the end of the tube into the dipping chamber.
Abstract: A system for encouraging an understanding of visual art includes a set of collectible cards (20, 36, 38, 40, 42). Each of the cards (20, 36, 38, 40, 42) includes an image (26) of an artwork on a first side (22) of the card. Information pertaining to the artwork is provided on a second side (24) of the card. The information is in the form of stylized brushstrokes (30), color codes (52), text, and icons. Through the use of the stylized brushstrokes (30), color codes (52), text, and icons, a method is thus provided for collecting and organizing the images.
Abstract: In one embodiment, a magnetized joint for a toy figure. The magnetized joint may include a peg, and a socket for receiving and magnetically engaging the peg. In another embodiment, an appendage may be removably attached to a member of a toy figure by a magnetized joint, including a peg and a socket that engage coaxially. The joint may allow pivotal movement by allowing the peg to rotate within the socket.
Abstract: A toy includes a body and an appendage system at a side of the body. The appendage system includes an arm and a linkage. The arm includes a first end fixed to rotate in a circular path and a second unfixed end. The arm defines a slot extending between the first and second ends. The linkage includes a linkage rod that is engaged with the slot. The linkage is positionable about a linkage shaft coupled to the body. Rotation of the first end of the arm causes the second unfixed end of the arm to move in a non-circular path that varies depending on the position of the linkage about the linkage shaft.

Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly of calendar sheets in a book, ring binder or the like wherein the sheets are kept together by means of a holder; and wherein two consecutive calendar sheets are displayed to each their side of the holder during referencing. The particular feature of the assembly of sheets constitutes in that each sheet has a front and opposite this a back that is, along a hinge line via a connecting element, pivotally connected to the holder whereby each sheet can be shifted from a plane position at the one side of the holder to a plane position at the other side of the holder during the pivoting movement of the connecting element about the hinge line and the holder.
Abstract: A personal care accessory for carrying cosmetic articles and viewing one's image during their use includes a shallow open top basket which has releasably attached to opposite sides thereof an inverted U-shaped bail-type handle. The vertical segments of the handle are elastically deformable apart to disengage and reattach the handle to the basket. The handle has a straight upper central portion over which is fitted a tubular end portion of a mirror assembly support bracket, the other end of the bracket supporting an inverted U-shaped yoke which holds a mirror. The mirror is rotatable about a yoke pivot axis to a desired inclination angle, and the yoke assembly is orbitable around the handle to position the mirror at a selected polar angle.
