Abstract: A turf management system includes an irrigation system for providing water to the turf at a turf site, and an irrigation evaluation system for evaluating the performance of the irrigation system. The irrigation evaluation system segments the turf site into irrigation management units, where each of the irrigation management units includes at least one sprinkler head. Qualities of the turf are measured to generate collected data points. The data points are used by the irrigation evaluation system to compute a value for the turf in each of the irrigation management units. The values can then be used to identify irrigation management units having common characteristics. The values can be used to define irrigation management zones for controlling the irrigation system.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving collaboration among participants in a collaboration system. In one embodiment of the present invention, a system, referred to herein as the “integration system,” connected to a collaboration system monitors for comments or updates pertaining to a work item involving a customer problem to be resolved by different participants of the collaboration system. These comments or updates for completing the work item are analyzed. After analyzing the comments or updates, strategies are derived for completing the work item based on the analysis of the comments or updates as well as based on stored data of previously resolved work items. The derived strategies are then presented to the appropriate participant(s) to resolve the work item, such as based on the roles of the participant(s) that would most effectively and efficiently perform the strategy.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving collaboration among participants in a collaboration system. Abstract: This disclosure relates to a reconfigurable simulative and predictive digital assistant/platform for simulation of a multi-stage processing facility. The digital assistant generates and assembles digital representations of the individual physical processing stages and components of the multi-stage processing facility in a reconfigurable manner according to a set of configuration commands generated using user inputs in a graphical user interface. At least one of the digital representations include a reusable predictive model that is trained when the digital representation is generated by the digital assistant. The digital assistant further performs simulation of the multi-state processing facility “as is” or in alternative “what-if” scenarios by simulating the digital representations according to a set of timing signals in the set of configuration commands.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for enabling users to request information or services relating to a physical facility. One method includes receiving, from a device associated with a user, one or more of: a request to receive information about an asset or component of the facility, and a request to receive maintenance of an asset or component of the facility, wherein the request includes an identifier associated with the user and an identifier associated with the asset or component of the facility; accessing, based on the request, a database storing one or more user identifiers and one or more identifiers associated with a plurality of assets or components of the facility; and transmitting, to the device associated with the user, either a presentation of information about the asset or component of the facility, or a representation of a ticket for initiating maintenance of the asset or component of the facility.

Abstract: Electronic meeting time of arrival estimation is described. A number of attendees to an electronic meeting are identified. Based on an indication that a first attendee is in another electronic meeting, an estimated time of arrival for that first attendee to the electronic meeting is determined. Other attendees to the electronic meeting are provided with the estimated time of arrival of the first attendee.

Abstract: Customer data volume of a database and estimated transaction throughput requirements for a multi-tiered transaction system are received at a server sizing computing device. The customer data volume is compared to the estimated transaction throughput requirements. Based upon the comparison of the customer data volume to the estimated transaction throughput requirements, a customer data volume edge case for which server hardware is improperly sized by transaction-based hardware sizing is detected. Using the customer data volume, a quantity of operational memory of a server sufficient to store the customer data volume generated under the detected customer data volume edge case during real-time transactional processing by the server is calculated.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to expand panelist enrollment are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a fingerprint receiver to access a fingerprint received from a media device associated with a panelist, the panelist enrolled in a first panel corresponding to a first category of the media device, the fingerprint identifying devices communicating on a same local area network as the media device. The example apparatus includes a fingerprint analyzer to determine whether a second device within a second category of devices corresponding to a second panel is identified in the fingerprint, the second category of devices not including the media device. The example apparatus includes a panel opportunity identifier to prompt the panelist to join the second panel in response to the determination that the second device within the second category of devices is identified in the fingerprint.

Abstract: A system can arrange a transport service for a rider. The system can receive, from a first computing device of a first rider, a request for a transport service. The request can include a first pickup location and a first destination location. Based on the first pickup location and the first destination location, the system can determine a plurality of candidate drivers that are each currently assigned to provide a transport service for a respective rider. The system can perform a selection process to select a driver from the plurality of candidate drivers by, for each candidate driver, determining a set of possible travel sequences in which that candidate driver can provide both the transport service for the respective rider and the transport service for the first rider and computing a score for each possible travel sequence.

Abstract: A method and system for determining work ticket priority is provided. The method includes enabling a work ticket for a work assignment associated with an entity. The work ticket is assigned an initial priority value. Relevant data from multiple sources is associated with the work ticket and an updated priority value is requested. In response, multiple priority scores for the work ticket with respect to additional work tickets are published to an enterprise service bus (ESB) and an aggregate score for work ticket is calculated from the multiple priority scores.

Abstract: An example embodiment may involve receiving, by a server device and from a client device, a request for a graphical representation of consumption trends of a set of application services. The server device may obtain information regarding computing devices in a managed network by way of a proxy server application disposed within the managed network, and the services may be provided and consumed by units of the managed network. The consumption trends may be based at least in part on the information regarding the computing devices. The embodiment may further involve obtaining information regarding the consumption trends for the services, and transmitting, by the server device and to the client device, a representation of a graphical user interface that represents a total price paid for the services consumed over a period of time, and respective prices paid for each service of the services consumed over the period of time.

Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for routing meeting requests by a digital assistant service are presented. A request to schedule a meeting between an invitee and a principal may be received by a digital assistant service, wherein the request is sent by an agent of the principal. The digital assistant service may determine that the agent is a delegate of the principal with scheduling authority. The digital assistant service may further determine that follow-up information for the meeting is required, and the digital assistant service may route an electronic message requesting the follow-up information directly the agent-delegate. Other aspects describe mechanisms for routing meeting requests from third parties directly to delegates, rather than sending those communications directly to principals.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to doorstep delivery of services and products, and more particularly to a system and a method for dynamic fleet management for order delivery are provided. Initially, a primary route is assigned to a vehicle from a fleet of vehicles, based on at least one of a known order and a forecasted order. Further, when the vehicle is in transit along the primary route, in response to an input with respect to at least one of a route alteration parameter, one of an alternate route or a corrective action, is determined, and one or more corresponding actions are triggered, which helps with the order delivery.

Abstract: Techniques for providing explanations of candidate search queries are described. The queries can be created using query intent clustering in an automated sourcing tool. In an example embodiment, disclosed is a system that obtains one or more current candidate member profiles used as a basis for a search on member profiles in an online system. Additionally, the system extracts one or more attributes from the one or more current candidate member profiles. Moreover, the system identifies query intent clusters based on the extracted one or more attributes. Furthermore, the system generates a search query based on the identified query intent clusters. Next, an explanation of the search query can be displayed on a display device of the system. In some embodiments, the online system hosts a social networking service that includes the member profiles, and the identified query intent clusters include skills clusters.

Abstract: In one example, a system includes one or more personal protective equipment (PPE) devices each configured to be worn by a worker, the PPE devices each including one or more sensors that generate activity data indicative of activities of workers operating within one or more work environments. The system also includes a computing device, the computing device configured to: identify, based at least on the activity data, a plurality of clusters of one or more entities, wherein each entity of the entities is associated with one or more of the workers; and output an indication of a difference between performance by a target entity with respect to safety events and performance by the cluster that includes the target entity with respect to safety events.

Abstract: A method for capacity forecasting may include determining expected issues by averaging a number of each issue type submitted per a time period to predict a quantity of each issue type that will be submitted in a next time period, determining an expected issue capacity need in the future for each skill level of the assignees based on the expected issues, and determining assignee demand by averaging a number of each issue type assigned to each assignee per the time period. For each assignee, the method may include determining an expected assignee demand by identifying a number of the expected issues on which each assignee will be expected to work based on the expected issues and the assignee demand, determining an expected individual capacity based on the expected assignee demand, and determining assignments of issues to the assignee based on the expected issue capacity and the expected individual capacity.

Abstract: Data-driven evaluation of locations for a proposed business is provided by a method that includes identifying and weighing business success attributes for a desired business segment and business segment requirements for a proposed business, identifying candidate locations, calling to devices to request attribute data for the business success attributes, obtaining success rates and attribute data for other businesses, ranking the candidate locations on anticipated success of the proposed business, and generating digital documents informing of the candidate locations, providing at least some of the attribute data, and identifying a preferred location, of the candidate locations, for the proposed business.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a dynamic survey, and collecting and distributing dynamic survey information are disclosed. A method includes providing one or more survey questions, where each survey question corresponds to a plurality of selectable response options, receiving a modification of at least one of the selectable response options, where the modification corresponds to an answer that more accurately reflects an opinion of a respondent than the selectable response options, searching a database for additional modifications to the selectable response options, and when the modification matches an existing modification from the additional modifications, logging the modification in the database as an additional modification.

Abstract: A system for providing a personalized calendar comprises a server that hosts a database storing digital product event data, which associates a plurality of digital products with respective digital products event dates. The server repeatedly updates the digital product event data in the database, provides a user interface for a user, with the user interface being displayable on a remote user device of the user and includes a calendar widget personalized for the user based on a user account. The server further converts at least one portion of the digital product event data to display it through the calendar widget. The server can also receive user input indicating a date and identify a digital product associated with that date. In response to the input, the server modifies the user interface to display, in addition to the calendar widget, a digital product widget associated with the identified digital product.
