Abstract: This application discloses web or cloud-based electronic design automation tools, which can incorporate functionality to enable collaborative and/or social interaction among multiple different users of the electronic design automation tools. The electronic design automation tools can monitor activity of a user on a design tool, compare the activity of the user on the design tool to previous design activities of one or more different users of the design tool, and prompt presentation of a design suggestion to the user based, at least in part, on a commonality between the activity of the user and previous design activities of the one or more different users.

Abstract: Methods are provided for calculating a reserve value or a risk value for various locations in an environmentally-controlled space such as a data center, and using the reserve value or risk value to allocate environmental maintenance modules and/or load. For example, an influence model can predict a change in a sensor value at a location for a corresponding change in an operation level of an actuator of one of the environmental maintenance modules. Based on the influence model and an operation level of the actuator, a reserve value can be determined for the location. A risk value for the location can be determined using a risk metric that may use the reserve value, a current sensor value at the location, and a threshold sensor value at the location.

Abstract: A device may provide a user interface to a user device for inputting contract information. The device may receive the contract information from the user device via the user interface. The contract information may include information about a contract between a first party and a second party, and information about a relationship between the first party and the second party. The device may determine values for risk variables based on the contract information. The device may determine a risk score based on the values for the risk variables. The risk score may indicate a likelihood that the second party will renew the contract. The device may provide risk information to the user device to be displayed via the user interface. The risk information may indicate the risk score.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes executing at least one application. The method further includes collecting, at periodic intervals as the least one application executes, an application load of each of the at least one application. In addition, the method includes generating, based at least in part on the collecting, an application-behavior baseline for each of the at least one application. The application-behavior baseline includes a plurality of projected application loads over a future period of time. The application-behavior baseline has a configurable time resolution. The method also includes automatically determining, for a subperiod of the future period, a quantity of compute resources required to manage the at least one application in satisfaction of at least one performance criterion. Moreover, the method includes causing the determined quantity of compute resources to be proactively provisioned to the at least one application in advance of a start of the subperiod.

The device may communicate with a client device to obtain ticket data relating to an issue associated with a project. The device may classify, using the data model, the ticket data into a ticket type. The device may generate, using the data model and based on the ticket type, a set of recommended resolutions for resolving the issue associated with the project. The device may select, from the set of recommended resolutions, a particular resolution based on a set of selection criteria. The device may automatically perform one or more actions to implement the particular resolution to resolve the issue associated with the project.

Deployment of a particular resource of the one or more physical resources to a particular work station among the plurality of workstations is controlled based on the status information and the identity of the particular user.

At least one intention is predicted for each customer to configure a plurality of intentions. An expected volume of interactions is estimated for at least one time period based on the plurality of intentions. Each interaction in the expected volume of interactions is associated with interaction attributes. Resource data corresponding to a plurality of resources of the enterprise is received. Each resource is associated with a plurality of resource attributes. At least one resource is mapped to each interaction based on a match between resource attributes associated with the at least one resource and the interaction attributes associated with the each interaction. A staffing of the plurality of resources is facilitated based on the mapping of the at least one resource to the each interaction.

Abstract: A system for collecting and analyzing metadata from peer-to-peer (P2P) media networks. The present invention gathers metadata about P2P media from the P2P network directly as well as relevant 3rd party social networks where that media is discussed. Users access the system via any Internet enabled device. The users' media streaming behavior is collected so that it can determine what they like. That data is indexed for future analysis. The system also monitors social network dialog keyed to the media (e.g. titles, actors, singers). The system then can identify related media on P2P networks and source it so that it is immediately available. The social data collection agents then extract data about the media that users of social networks are providing for the computing of demand for the media and/or performers.

Abstract: A calendar adjusting device adjusts an electronic calendar. A network interface provides a communication link between the calendar adjusting device and an electronic calendar server that serves an electronic calendar. The electronic calendar includes a calendar entry for a scheduled event, and the calendar entry is associated with metadata that describe a scheduled time and date for the scheduled event and a non-temporal attribute of the scheduled event. A user monitoring hardware monitors a cognitive state of a user of the electronic calendar. An electronic calendar modification logic generates and transmits, via the communication link between the calendar adjusting device and the electronic calendar server, a modification to the calendar entry based on the metadata and the user's cognitive state.

Abstract: A system and method of managing and prioritizing tasks amongst resources and, more particularly, to a system and method for providing automatic task assignment and notification amongst globally dispersed human resources. The system includes a change of management application configured to store a list of tasks and a task notifier configured to retrieve a list of geographically-dispersed resources and notify selected ones of the geographically-dispersed resources of a priority of completion of one or more tasks retrieved from the change of management application. The system further includes a message application configured to be polled by the task notifier to determine which of the geographically dispersed resources is online or currently working.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for the management of custodians within an electronic discovery system. Embodiments of the invention herein disclosed provide for methods of creating, maintaining, and utilizing a unified custodian directory for the purposes of carrying out electronic discovery within an enterprise environment. By employing a unified custodian directory to manage custodians apart from the electronic discovery cases to which they relate, the custodian management system of the present invention promotes efficiencies in the field of electronic discovery.

Abstract: A system and method for directing self-targeted advertising to users who are interested in receiving it. A user creates or adopts one or more personas that define a number of characteristics that the user has or wants to be associated with. The characteristics of the personas can be used by advertisers to define members of a target audience. Each persona included in a target audience has an address or identifier to which ads are sent. In one embodiment, users are shown a user interface screen with icons representing a number of brands. The user provides input that indicates whether they have different opinions of the brands. Based on the input received, an estimate is made of the likelihood that the user has a number of characteristics. The user can arrange the icons representing the brands on the user interface screen to indicate if the user likes or dislikes the brand.

Abstract: An announcement distributor distributes, or auctions an opportunity to distribute, an announcement to an announcement recipient such as a consumer, issuer, merchant, or acquirer within a payment processing system. The announcement when there has been a satisfaction of an announcement condition, such as the consumer being determined to be located within a predetermined spatial zone. The content of the announcement may, in turn, facilitate a subsequent cashless transaction for resources of merchants. Implementations describe various permutations of the content of the announcement, the announcement condition, and the announcement recipient.
