Abstract: An apparatus determines a type of a printing paper which is fed from a paper feed port of a printer. If it is determined that a print setting of a print target page does not match the type of printing paper fed from the paper feed port, the apparatus requests the printer to eject the printing paper set in the paper feed port and sends data of a print target page if a print setting of a print target page matches a type of a printing paper fed from the paper feed port after the printer has executed a paper ejection, or alternatively, the apparatus stores information about the print target page and determines whether a print setting of a page to be sent subsequent to the print target page in the print data matches the type of a printing paper fed from the paper feed port.

Abstract: Disclosed is an image processing apparatus including: a controller for generating expanded image data; a local bus connected with the controller; a plurality of generic buses which are independent from each other; a plurality of image processing sections, each of which is respectively connected to each of the plurality of generic buses, for executing image processing of the expanded image data to generate processed image data; a plurality of bridges, each of which connects the local bus with each of the plurality of independent generic buses; and a memory section for storing at least one of the expanded image data and the processed image data, wherein the plurality of image processing sections share execution of image processing of the expanded image data generated by the controller, and the memory section memorizes the processed image data.

Abstract: What is disclosed is a system and method for minimizing the Inter-Document Zone (IDZ) in printing system architectures with print engines running at constant speed. The asymmetric IDZ precession disclosed herein is intended for those multi-pass systems where there is a difference in required start and stop durations of various transition subsystems such as transfer engagement and disengagement processes. This mode reduces the required inter-document zone region by shifting the zone in accordance with asymmetric timing of start and stop times of processes that must occur during this time. Advantageously, productivity gains are effectuated without altering process speeds.

Abstract: A display system is provided that can perform suitable procedure display in accordance with the respective operation statuses of a plurality of electronic devices. The display system is formed by connecting an electronic device, a portable terminal, and an information distributing apparatus through a network, and the electronic device has a description tool affixed to the device to indicate the electronic device information of the device and transmits the state information of the device to the information distributing apparatus. The portable terminal acquires the electronic device information of the electronic device from the description tool and transmits it to the information distributing apparatus and displays the returned operation procedure information.
