Abstract: A method for manufacturing integrated circuits (“ICs”) is disclosed. The method pertains to providing third-party technology in the form of an IC design library to foundry customers for designing IC products using alternate rule sets. Aggressive rules pertaining to IC layout are used to reduce device size, resulting in more device per wafer for the customer. The method includes a library creator creating a slim cell library, a slim cell library being provided to a customer to enable the customer to generate a slim IC design; an IC fabricator charging the customer a per-wafer premium to fabricate the slim IC design; the IC fabricator providing a first portion of the premium to a first entity, wherein the first entity is a contributor of technology for enabling creation of the slim cell library; and the IC fabricator providing a second portion of the premium to the library creator.

Abstract: A method of aiding creation of a service offer associated with a Service Delivery Framework (SDF) includes providing a plurality of reusable Application Objects (AOs) that may be associated with an Interactive Development Environment (IDE). The AOs are prototype customer facing service offers that include standardized functions supporting ordering, billing, management and monitoring. The AOs also include standardized event formats and configurable attributes that affect the behavior and pricing of service offers derived from the AOs. A Services Marketplace facilitates reuse of AOs and supports relationships between customers, application creators, service providers and OSS/BSS providers. A computer-readable medium includes instructions that when executed by a computing device aids in creation of a service offer associated with a SDF by providing a plurality of reusable Application Objects (AOs) in the context of a services marketplace.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a custom score generation system by offering third parties access to data from a shared database that they can merge with their own proprietary data for the purpose of defining and producing new data services. The system provides interfaces for selecting data elements from the shared database, attributing weights to the selected data elements, and defining scoring rules or parameters to automatically evaluate the significance of the data element values. Additionally, conditions may be specified to include different sets of the selected data elements, to attribute different weights to the different sets of the selected data elements, and to define different scoring rules according to which conditions are satisfied. The system then automatically formulates the algorithm to produce the custom score in conformance with the provided inputs and based on values for the selected data elements that are specific to different entities.

The return fraud protection system has a video recording module, a face capture module, a face icon generator module, and an entrance video clip module. The video recording module records a video at an entrance of the store. The face capture module captures a face of a customer entering the store from the video. The face icon generator module generates a face icon comprising the face of the customer. The entrance video clip generator module generates a video clip of the customer entering the store, associates the video clip of the customer with the corresponding face icon, and provides a client device with a list of face icons with corresponding video clips.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums which provide a relevance engine for determining a relevance of an individual (either a non-member or another member) to another individual (either a non-member or another member). This relevance engine may use signals in the form of data that the social networking service may learn about the individuals to determine how relevant the individuals are to each other.

Abstract: Systems and methods for creating in a facility on-demand routes for powered industrial vehicles to transport cargo efficiently. In one embodiment, an on-demand route generation module receives receiving a request to move cargo. The module analyzes data about the current location, the current tasking, and the driver availability of PIVs in operation. Based on the information, the module creates an on-demand route through the facility and sends a notification to an assigned PIV to pick up the cargo and carry it on the defined on-demand route.

Abstract: A computing system can archive information from internetworked computers, such as Internet content, for later retrieval. A server system processes content providers, such as DNS registries and web sites, to extract and store content, including text, image, audio, and video content. For web sites, HTML source code is stored along with a browser-rendered display file. The content is perpetually archived to create a historical record of information for each content provider. An interface is used to retrieve the archived content in response to queries.

Abstract: Methods and systems for collecting, managing and reporting feedlot data and feed additive consumption data are provided. More particularly, methods of determining effects of feed additives on livestock and methods of determining a number of doses of animal health product provided to livestock are disclosed. One method of determining effects of a feed additive on livestock includes steps: determining feed additive consumption by correlating feed consumption data to additive levels contained in feed; and matching feed additive consumption to a live performance record, a harvest performance record, and/or an animal health performance record. In another embodiment, a method of determining a number of doses of animal health product provided to livestock includes steps: determining a total quantity of animal health product provided to the livestock; determining a dose amount for the animal health product; and dividing the total quantity of animal health product provided by the dose amount.

Abstract: A method, information processing system, and computer program storage product manage connections between a virtual world and a social network. A set of virtual world information and a set of social network information are analyzed. A graph including a plurality of vertices is generated. Each vertex represents one of virtual world information and social network information. Each vertex is coupled to at least one other vertex by a respective edge. At least one edge of the graph couples a first vertex representing virtual world information and a second vertex representing social network information. At least one vertex is determined to be an articulation point having a respective edge. The removal of the respective edge of the articulation point causes a disconnection of the virtual world information from the social network information within the graph. A user is notified via a graphical user interface that the graph comprises the articulation point.

Abstract: Computer-based systems and methods for prioritizing a list of job candidates for a job opening(s) with a hiring firm use the Random Forest algorithm, in which a number of decision trees are generated and the job candidates' respective probabilities of being the right fit for the hiring firm and for the position(s) are computed using the forest of decision trees. The job candidates may then be ranked according to their computed hiring probability. Non-conventional variables can be used, such as social media-related variables and external industry variables, such as the candidates' driving records. Other non-conventional variables that can be used include results from a personality or behavior assessment, results from a third-party skill assessment, and performance evaluations for prior projects or jobs of the candidates.

Abstract: A method and system for use in allowing a content or service provider to establish an anonymous profile of a consumer using at least one request sent by the consumer through a communication network. The request sent by the consumer includes identification data of the consumer. The identification data is substituted in the network with an alias so as to anonymize the request. The identification data is not accessible to the content or service provider and there is a correspondence between the identification data and the alias.
