In various embodiments, risk assessments(s) may be provided and may include receiving intelligence from at least one intelligence source, receiving information about one or more asset(s), and generating a risk assessment report. Various embodiments may include receiving intelligence from at least one intelligence source, receiving asset information, and generating a risk assessment report based on the intelligence and a personnel or employee profile.

Abstract: The compatibility score of individuals in a social network is computed based on the compatibility of interests expressed by these individuals. The compatibility score between any two interests is calculated as the log of the estimated probability that a member of the social network will express both interests as his/her interests divided by the product of: (i) the estimated probability that a member of the social network will express the first of the two interests as his/her interest and (ii) the estimated probability that a member of the social network will express the second of the two interests as his/her interest. The compatibility score between two individuals is calculated as the sum of the compatibility scores between each interest appearing in a set of interests expressed by the first of the two individuals and each interest appearing in a set of interests expressed by the second of the two individuals.

Abstract: A method of accumulating descriptive profile data uses a databank that can be contacted by profile providers who contribute profile elements about an online visitor. The method includes keeping track of which profile provider contributed which elements, so that use of particular elements in targeting electronic third-party advertisements automatically can result in compensation.

Abstract: Real estate data and municipal codes and zoning rules are transformed and translated into useable data for non-land use experts. Rating systems for zoning desirability and zoning flexibility are presented with user driven weight and priority systems. Disperse data sets related to real estate are marshaled into a coherent database structure for efficient searching and organization.

Abstract: A host system generates and manages databases incorporating data gathered from a plurality of client automation systems, such as CNC machine tools. The data may include real-time data, and is captured from the client systems under supervision of software downloaded over a network from the host system to the client systems. The captured data is transmitted over the network to the host, which creates the databases. The databases preferably include a commercial database comprising data associated with customer owners or operators of the client automation system, as well as a technical database, comprising captured data, administrative and other data, organized by customer and client system. Captured data is preferably associated with the date of capture, providing for the creation of a historical database for given client equipment. With customer authorization, others, such as original equipment manufacturers, may access the captured data, for which they may be charged a fee.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention may provide a personalized fit prediction to a particular consumer about a particular product. Personalization of the fit prediction may be accomplished by processing various types of data, including data about consumers, products, and previous purchases by consumers. For example, this data may be used to generate a model (e.g., set of rules), which can then be applied to predict whether and/or how well a particular product will suit a particular consumer.

The method and apparatus can further comprise steps and components for extracting key-phrases, determining connections between key-phrases, connections between categories based on key-phrases, and connections between categories and key-phrases, and visualizing the categories, key-phrases and connections. Abstract: A method is provided for determining employer compliance in determining employment eligibility requirements in accordance with federal immigration regulations. Compliance alerts and compliance tips are displayed for guiding employers in verifying employment eligibility. Completed employment eligibility forms are automatically audited to analyze whether the employer has accurately completed the employment verification. The completed forms are audited by applying various compliance rules to a completed employment eligibility form, presently a Form I-9, to determine compliance with the applicable regulations. A listing is provided of various errors and additional data required to complete the audited form. The method is preferably administered by a single service provider for multiple employers, to assure that changes in the applicable regulations are regularly incorporated.

Abstract: An endorsement application can allow a user to endorse a product on a social network website when the product is purchased at a physical merchant point of sale terminal. Users of social network websites have been given the opportunity to endorse products that they have located or purchased online, but purchasers of products in person have not had that opportunity. The endorsement application can operate on a user's mobile device and can recognize a product purchased through near field or other communication using the mobile device. The application can isolate the product identification and product marketing data supplied by the point of sale terminal or other source and offer the user the opportunity to endorse the product on a social network website. If the user endorses the product, the application sends the endorsement to the user's account on the social network website for display to the user's community.

Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking items are provided. According to one method, a dispatcher receives from a courier, serving a customer, a request over a network to pickup an item addressed to the customer. A determination is made to see whether the dispatcher is available to process the item. If the dispatcher is available, the dispatcher notifies the courier, over the network, that the item is available for pickup by the courier when the dispatcher completes processing of the item. If the dispatcher is busy, the dispatcher notifies the courier, over the network, that the item is available for pick up by the courier at a later time.

A social networking forum associated with the cohort may be created responsive to a determination that a forum associated with the cohort has not yet been created. The user may be added as a member of the newly created forum.

Abstract: The generation of an online reputation report for an individual is disclosed. First, an online reputation assessment is performed for an individual. Then, a report is generated. The report includes an individualized recommendation based on the online reputation assessment. The recommendation can be directed to the individual and can also be directed to an entity other than the individual.

Abstract: Techniques described herein facilitate approval or disapproval of individual segments found within discrete pieces of content. By facilitating approval or disapproval on a per-segment basis, the described techniques allow for more granular feedback to the pieces of content than do traditional techniques. Furthermore, by indicating instances where individual segments receive broad approval or broad disapproval, the described techniques allow for better understanding of which individual segments of the content have been broadly deemed helpful and which individual have been broadly deemed unhelpful. This level of granularity contrasts with traditional techniques that simply indicate approval or disapproval of a piece of content in its entirety.

In one embodiment a privacy server verifies that each user of the community network lives at a residence associated with a claimable residential address of the community network formed through a social community module of a privacy server using a processor and a memory, to obtain from each user of the community network, using the processor of a computing device, member data associated with each user, the member data including an address, to associate the address with a profile of each user, to determine a location of each user based on the member data, to store the member data in a database, and to obtain a personal address privacy preference from each user, the personal address privacy preference specifying if the address should be displayed to other users.

Abstract: A data visualization system is disclosed that includes a retrieval component, a display component, and a contour generator. The retrieval component is configured to retrieve data representing interactions between customers and the merchant, and to construct a finite set of data values from the retrieved data. The display component is configured to display a graphical representation of a merchant and a graphical representation of each of the set of data values represented as data points. The contour generator is configured to generate and display one or more contour lines at least partly around each data point to form a contoured surface, in which the areas of representation around each data point are shown in a series of contour lines, and the nature of the contour lines gradually fans away from each data point. Each data point is vertex of the contoured surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for providing automatic identification of semantically coherent, user-aligned fragments in business process models. One process includes operations for identifying a hierarchy of process fragments in a business process model associated with a user. At least one process metadata category associated with a role of the user is determined. A score for each process fragment in the hierarchy of process fragments is computed, the score computed based at least in part on a probable level of interest in the at least one process metadata category for the role of the user. At least one process fragment in the hierarchy of process fragments for inclusion in a view of the business process model to be presented to the user, the selection based at least in part on the score computed for the at least one process fragment.
