  • Patent number: 10037672
Abstract: Sensor data generated by at least a portion of a plurality of sensors integrated into a smart garment is received. The sensor data can indicate a level at which fabric of the smart garment is stretched when worn by a user. Based on the sensor data, at least one size change parameter indicating a change in a size of the user can be determined. Based on the size change parameter, whether a size of the smart garment is not suitable for the smart garment to be worn by the user can be determined. Responsive to determining that size of the smart garment is not suitable for the smart garment to be worn by the user, a notification can be output. The notification can indicate that the size of the smart garment is not suitable for the smart garment to be worn by the user.

  • Patent number: 10024893
Abstract: A personal mobile system for detecting unsafe electrical power levels. Magnetic sensors detect a magnitude of a magnetic field produced by a power line. A GPS determines the location of the detected the magnetic field. A distance from the location of the detected the magnetic field is determined. In response to determining that the magnitude of the detected magnetic field produced by the power line exceeds the stored electrical power level threshold, based on the determined distance, an alert module produces an alert on the personal mobile system.

  • Patent number: 10026300
Abstract: Monitoring system alert technology, in which monitoring system data is accessed from a monitoring system that is located in a property of a user and the monitoring system data is analyzed against one or more rules that define alerts provided for the monitoring system. Based on the analysis, a determination is made that an alert for the monitoring system is needed and conditions for providing the alert are accessed. Location of a mobile device of a user associated with the monitoring system and timing related to providing the alert are monitored. The monitored location of the mobile device and the monitored timing are analyzed with respect to the accessed conditions. Based on the analysis, a determination is made that the accessed conditions for providing the alert are met and the alert is output at the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 10002518
Abstract: Hospital-acquired infections or nosocomial infections are decreased when medical personal observe a hand washing protocol. A method is disclosed for encouraging adherence to a hand washing protocol when entering and exiting rooms of patients. A carried device, or badge, receives a first signal when proximate to a wash station. A first indicator on the badge displays indicates that that the wearer has visited the wash station. The badge receives a second signal when inside a patient's room, i.e., when visiting a first contaminated area. The badge may receive a third signal when entering a second contaminated area. A second indicator on the badge alerts the wearer when a countdown expires after washing, of failure to visit the wash station before the first room visit, or of failure to visit the wash station between room visits. Reporting data may be uploaded to a database.
