Abstract: A nail polish system includes a nail polish cap and a plurality of nail polish applicator brushes. The nail polish cap has an outer handling surface and an inner applicator brush engagement portion. Each nail polish applicator brush includes a stem, a plurality of bristles, and a cap engagement portion. The stem extends from a stem inboard end to a stem outboard end. The plurality of bristles extend longitudinally from a bristle inboard end, connected to the stem outboard end, to a bristle outboard end. The cap engagement portion is connected to the stem inboard end. The cap engagement end is removably connectable to the inner applicator brush engagement portion of the nail polish cap.

Abstract: An improved hot melt glue gun with an automatic glue stick feeding structure includes a housing that is gun-shaped and that includes an inlet and an outlet. A glue stick feeding module is mounted in the housing and located adjacent to the inlet. The glue stick feeding module includes a motor connected to a casing. The casing includes a passage and a through-hole. The passage is located in the casing and intercommunicates with the inlet. The through-hole is aligned with the passage in a transverse direction. An activation module includes an activation rod reciprocatingly and movably extending through the through-hole. A micro switch is located adjacent to the activation module and is electrically connected to the motor. The micro switch is configured to be pressed by the activation rod to activate the motor. A hot melt module is mounted in the housing and located adjacent to the outlet.

Abstract: A bottle for a cosmetic product is disclosed. The bottle is capable of occupying two positions, an opened position and a closed position. The bottle includes a body that extends along a main direction and has a distal end and a proximal end, and a side wall located between the distal end and the proximal end. The bottle also includes a cover, a wiper, opening and closing means located on the cover and on the body. The opening and closing means are positioned at a distance from the proximal end and from the distal end.

Abstract: A lip applicator carrier system includes a carrier that has a housing, a plurality of reservoirs that receive lip balm or another lip applicator, and a clip to attach the carrier to a vehicle visor. The reservoirs may be c-shaped with an open bottom to allow placement of the lip balm via a press fit/snap fit.

Abstract: An applicator for applying an eyelash cosmetic including a body and protuberances having a free end and arranged so as to be movable relative to the body between a retracted position and an extended position, in which the protuberances extend outward from the body further than in the retracted position. The applicator is designed such that every free end moving from the retracted to the extended position follows a path that is transversal to a longitudinal axis of the applicator.

An adjustment mechanism in the housing has a guide bushing and a cam pin concentrically arranged therein and spring-loaded along the longitudinal axis on the refill, which cam pin engages an end of the refill. The writing implement includes a control arrangement having a resetting device, a freewheel couplable with an operating unit arranged at the operating side and a cam bushing couplable with the freewheel. Abstract: An oral care system includes a toothbrush and a dispenser detachably coupled to the toothbrush. The dispenser includes a collapsible bladder containing an oral care material. A compression device assembly includes an actuator operably coupled to a compression device movably mounted inside the dispenser. In one embodiment, the compression device includes a feed slot that engages opposite sides of the collapsible bladder. Actuating the actuator translates the compression device in a first longitudinal direction extruding and dispensing the oral care material from the oral care product dispenser. The actuator may be slideably mounted to the dispenser in one embodiment. A ratcheting mechanism may be provided to provide indexed movement of the compression device, thereby dispensing predetermined doses of the oral care material with each indexed movement.

Abstract: Cosmetics packaging and applicators including a gel based tip are described. Gel applicators may or may not be provided with a through-hole. In various embodiments, the gel may be a stand-alone gel or may be encapsulated in a membrane. The gel applicator provides a soft feel and may have cooling effect as well. In some embodiments, the applicator is mounted to a platform or a hollow insert and coupled to a container housing the cosmetics product.

Abstract: A mascara application system includes two brushes on arms or wands. A manufacturing approach is included. Wands are biased together, requiring force to separate brushes to place brushes on opposite sides (surfaces, top and bottom) of an eyelash. Upon release of the force brushes remain in contact with no affirmative force required to keep them together. During application of mascara, a user's fingers remain free to manipulate the position and movement of the brushes by holding, rolling, drawing, or otherwise controlling the handle to which the wands anchor. Brushes may be the same or different sizes, on simple, cantilevered arms or in a crossed (reverse tweezers) configuration. A reservoir of mascara product may receive, and seal by means of engaging, the applicator without relative rotation.

The resulting present invention two-piece molded container has the aesthetically pleasing benefits of a container made of plastic but appearing to be made of glass. An upper top surface of the blow molded bottle first top section is visible while a bottom portion concealed by the injection molded container second bottom section is not visible.
