  • Patent number: 9491767
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for frequency reuse in a wireless relay scenario, wherein a center frequency spectrum, an edge frequency spectrum and a random access frequency spectrum are pre-allocated to a cell according to a scenario parameter in the cell; load conditions of all mobile stations (MSs) covered by each relay station (RS) in the cell is calculated and reported to a base station (BS); the BS allocates the random access frequency spectrum to an RS according to load conditions of all RSs and schedules MSs. The disclosure also provides a system for frequency reuse in a wireless relay scenario. With the method and system above, the frequency spectrum planning is configurable, the random access frequency spectrum is introduced, and both the load balancing and user fairness are taken into consideration, which improves the throughput at the edge of the cell, especially can increase the throughput for the users whose throughput ranks poorly.

  • Patent number: 9491057
Abstract: Systems and methods for transmitting data packets in a data network comprising a multiplicity of network nodes are provided. A routing topology associated with a respective network node is ascertained, wherein the routing topology describes paths for forwarding data packets between the respective network node and each other network node in the data network on the basis of links between adjacent network nodes. A piece of routing information with the identification of the respective routing topology is produced and is stored in the respective network node. A data packet transmitted from a source network node to a destination network node specifies the identification of the routing topology to be used for the transmission, wherein each network node that forwards the data packet uses the routing information stored on each network node with the identification of the routing topology for the data packet.

  • Patent number: 9473271
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides a telecommunications method to be performed by a first telecommunications device while trying to transmit a data block to a second telecommunications device. According to the embodiment, the first telecommunications device determines whether a first set of early termination criteria is satisfied. Then, if the first set of early termination criteria is satisfied, the first telecommunications device further determines whether a second set of early termination criteria is satisfied. The second set of early termination criteria is different from the first set of early termination criteria. If both the first set of early termination criteria and the second set of early termination criteria are satisfied before the first telecommunications device finishes transmitting the data block, the first telecommunications device reduces a transmission power.

  • Patent number: 9450727
Abstract: A downlink subframe on a single downlink carrier supports physical layer acknowledgment signaling for multiple physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The physical layer acknowledgement signaling may take the form of physical hybrid ARQ indicator channel (PHICH) signaling. A base unit reserves resource elements groups (REGs) for default PHICH signaling of default PUSCH transmissions. The base unit reserves control channel elements (CCEs) for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) signaling. A CCE contains multiple interleaved REGs. The base unit takes any unreserved CCEs and maps those CCEs for physical layer acknowledgement signaling of additional PUSCH transmissions.
