Abstract: Examples described herein provide a computer-implemented method that includes calculating, by a processing device, a motor acceleration error based at least in part on a motor torque and a motor speed. The method further includes calculating, by the processing device, a regression fit line based at least in part on the motor acceleration error. The method further includes identifying, by the processing device, a zero point using the regression fit line. The method further includes comparing, by the processing device, the zero point to a datum reference to determine a difference. The method further includes integrating, by the processing device, the difference to determine the lash angle. The method further includes controlling, by the processing device, the motor based at least in part on the lash angle.

Abstract: A system that teaches players gestures, for instance during the introduction of the game, and asks the player to invoke the gesture. Rather than asking the player to repeat over and over until the player succeeds, the game looks for commonality in the player's attempts, and after a small number of attempts, the game can learn how that player interprets the gesture given the player's own ability. The game can then adapt itself to look for that pattern to trigger the action.

Abstract: The disclosure reveals a system and approach for remote health monitoring and diagnostics of room controllers, networks and devices. A master room controller may be used to open a system health page or a diagnostic page for other controllers. A system health page may provide an overview of virtually all of the other room controllers. A tool of the present system may be used to trouble shoot issues remotely at another room controller in lieu of doing a visit to the respective room controller. A user may navigate from the system health page to virtually any place on the room controller to diagnose issues. The navigation may be done by hyper linking from the system health page. The healthy controllers may be hidden from the page so that the unhealthy systems can be viewed in one shot.

In accordance with a determination that the affordance is a respective user-first sharing option for a respective user, the device initiates a process for sharing the first content with the respective user. In accordance with a determination that the affordance is a protocol-first sharing option for a respective protocol, the device initiates a process for sharing the first content using the respective protocol.

Abstract: A method of providing a workspace graphical user interface (GUI) for a user of a cloud-based content management platform includes providing the workspace GUI for the user via the cloud-based content management platform. The workspace GUI presents visual representations of documents stored on the user's cloud storage of the cloud-based content management platform and visual representations of workspaces created by the user. Each workspace includes a set of documents previously added to a respective workspace by the user and stored on the user's cloud storage. The method further includes receiving, via the workspace GUI, a user input with respect to a corresponding document stored on the user's cloud storage. The user input indicates a request to add the corresponding document to a particular workspace.

The display panel may display a first screen including a highlight indicator and a menu having a menu option displayed in the highlight indicator. Further, the memory may include a screen transition module to receive a selection of the menu option. Further, the screen transition module may perform a screen transition from the first screen to a second screen that displays a submenu option in the highlight indicator. The submenu option is associated with the selected menu option.

Abstract: In at least some implementations, a screen assembly, includes a screen, an internal structure, an isolating material and an actuator. The screen has an outer surface and an input area, and the internal structure is behind the outer surface and defines part of a chamber behind the input area. The isolating material is within the chamber, and the actuator is behind the screen and arranged to provide haptic output to the input area. The isolating material damps the haptic output to reduce transmission of the haptic output to portions of the screen outside of the input area.

The information processing apparatus includes first circuitry to transmit a detection result indicating at least one of a posture, an inclination, and a bending angle of the display to the terminal device, receive layout information of the applications and content information of the applications from the terminal device, and display one or more windows of the applications on the display based on the layout information and the content information received from the terminal device. Abstract: Systems and methods of the present technology generally provide computer implemented assistance for data summary, including organizing and generating a summary of data selected form source documents. A data set of user-identified information from one or more source documents and/or custom information may be received by a system server of a data summary system. The system server assigns a unique identifier to the user-identified information and/or the custom information. The system server may then analyze and prioritize the user-identified information and any custom information, and generate a formatted summary that includes the user-identified information and the custom information. The system server may then provide the summary via the communication link to a client device.

Abstract: Methods and systems described herein allow dynamic rendering of a reflexive questionnaire based on a modifiable spreadsheet for users with little to no programming experience and knowledge. The method and system allow retrieving a spreadsheet to generate a dynamic and reflexive graphical user interface and to pre-populate one or more input elements within the reflexive graphical user interface based on user information retrieved from a disparate data source, where the spreadsheet may be configured for a worksheet inheritance or where the worksheet may be accessed through a check-in/check-out functionality.

Abstract: A method of automatically providing personalized learning activities to users of an online learning platform is described. A quest is built based on an input of at least a first user's educational objective. The quest includes a primary quest that starts with a start node, ends with the end node, and includes a set of intermediate nodes, wherein each node of the primary quest must be traversed by the first user in order to complete the quest. The quest includes at least one secondary quest that starts with a node of the primary quest as its start node and includes a second set of intermediate nodes. As the user selects a node of the quest, educational activities related to its respective concept are presented to the user. The user's progress in the quest is tracked.

Abstract: An application window divider control is shared by a first application window and a second application window in a user interface. Based on a received directional instruction that moves the application window divider control along an axis of the user interface, placement of the first application window and the second application window may be positioned across a range of consistently spaced points along an axis of the user interface. Placement adjustment can also impact other application windows in the user interface. The application window divider control may also snap to provide “magnetic” points along the axis when certain conditions are satisfied.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present technology generally provide computer implemented assistance for data summary, including organizing and generating a summary of data selected from source documents. User-identified information may be selected from one or more source documents at a user device, in response to which a unique identifier selection box may be displayed at the user device. A unique identifier may be selected from the unique identifier selection box. A first data set and/or a request for generation of a summary set may be sent to a system server via a communication link, the first data set may include the unique identifier and the user-identified information. The user device may then receive a generated summary via the communication link and may display the summary.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for displaying and interacting with multiple open views in a mobile environment. An example method can include displaying content for a first web page in a first pane in a maximized state on a mobile device, receiving a touch input on a navigation control associated with the first pane, and responsive to receiving the touch input, displaying a second web page in a second pane on the mobile device, the second pane being in a minimized state in a dock area. The dock area can overlay the first pane in the maximized state and the minimized state of the second pane can display a smaller version of the second web page than the second pane in a maximized state. In some examples the second web page updates content in parallel with the first web page.
