Abstract: Methods and systems are described for identifying and marking content items that have or have not been shared to social media or content hosting services. The methods and systems use a marking engine to access a content item in a content library and identify the content hosts or social media sites to which the content item was previously transmitted. A marking engine may create a user interface, generate a thumbnail of each content item, and generate a graphical indicator for each identified content host. A marking engine may generate for display thumbnail representations of each content item with graphical indicators of each of the identified content hosts. A marking engine may sort thumbnails by metadata associated with the corresponding content items, such as creation time and date, location, share status, and other classifications and filters, to indicate which content items are ready to be shared to a content host.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit, an obtaining unit, and a translating unit. The receiving unit receives a document as a target to be translated. The obtaining unit obtains a non-target region from the document, the non-target region being a region that is not a target to be translated. The translating unit does not perform translation on the non-target region but performs translation on a portion other than the non-target region.

Abstract: A system and method for optimizing a display layout of multiple video streams at a sink device is provided. The display layout of multiple streams may be dynamically optimized based on a number of different variables, including characteristics of the sink device, total number of active incoming streams, active audio, and other characteristics of the source material or device. The source of an incoming media stream may contain useful characteristics for optimizing the display layout of multiple media streams. One such characteristic of a source device may include the device type, such as laptop, PC, phone, or tablet. Information may be extracted from each incoming stream in order to predict a source device type from which the incoming media stream originates.

Abstract: An electronic device, in response to an input directed to a first user interface displays a second user interface, and in response to continuously detecting a contact on a button while displaying the second user interface, including detecting an increase in a characteristic intensity of the contact above a first intensity threshold, displays a beginning of a transition from the second user interface back to the first user interface. If the contact on the button is part of an input sequence that meets first criteria, the device ceases to display the second user interface and redisplays the first user interface on the display; and if the input sequence meets second criteria, the device reverses the beginning of the transition from the second user interface back to the first user interface, and redisplays the second user interface on the display.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present technology generally provide computer implemented assistance for data summary, including organizing and generating a summary of data selected form source documents. In accordance with the present technology, a user identifies a subset of information from one or more source documents, assigns an identifier to the user-identified information, and may add custom information. The user can repeat the identification and assignment steps using multiple source documents, as many times as desired. The system then analyzes and prioritizes the user-identified information and any custom information, and generates a formatted summary.

Abstract: Methods and systems for delivering personalized learning material are disclosed. A method includes providing, by a computer device, current learning material and advance learning material to a plurality of students; monitoring, by the computer device, a reading performance and a complexity of the advance learning material for a student of the plurality of students; determining, by the computer device, a student comprehension score for the student based on the monitoring the reading performance and the complexity of the advance learning material; and providing, by the computer device, additional learning material to the student based on the student comprehension score being above a threshold.

Abstract: A method, text correction system, and computer program product, one embodiment of which may comprise receiving an original first message from a first participant of a group correspondence, receiving a second message from a second participant of the group correspondence, determining, by semantically analyzing the original first message and the second message, that the second message contains a desired modification of the original first message, and in response to the determining, automatically modifying the original first message with the desired modification to produce a modified first message. The second message may be received after the original first message. Optionally, some embodiments may further comprise presenting the modified first message to the first participant of the group correspondence for approval, and in response to an approval by the first participant of the group correspondence, presenting the modified first message to one or more other participants of the group correspondence.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for clustering media items in a semantic space to generate theme-based folders that organize media items by content theme. In particular, the disclosed systems can access media items that are stored in an original folder structure. The disclosed systems can generate content-based tags for each media item in a collection of media items. Based on the generated tags, the disclosed systems can map the collection of media items to a semantic space and cluster the collection of media items. The disclosed systems determine themes for the clusters based on the generated tags. The disclosed systems can present a media item navigation graphical user interface comprising the collection of media items organized by themes. The disclosed system can present the media item navigation graphical user interface without altering the original folder structure.

Abstract: Techniques are provided to enable quick previews of what a modified document would look like. In an implementation, a set of page images are stored. Each page image represents a page of a document, the page having been converted to a page image for a first version of the document to permit the document to be viewed in a viewer program. A command is received to modify the document. The requested modification may include, for example, reordering pages, deleting pages, or extracting pages. A preview is generated for a second version of the document. The preview reflects the modification and uses at least one page image from the set of page images created for the first version of the document. Reusing page images allows the preview to be generated very quickly.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein discuss securing user-entered data in-transit between a first device and a second device. A user may enter text in a document. A first device may analyze the document to identify the user-entered text. The user-entered text may be separated from the document and transformed into an image using a machine learning algorithm. Transforming the text into an image may secure the data in-transit from the first device to a second device. The second device may receive the image and the document from the first device. The second device may reconstruct the user-entered text from the received image and re-assemble the document from the received document and the reconstructed user-entered text.

Abstract: A skills learning method for a student gathers objective data relating to the student in response to various stimuli, and produces a predicted feedback units as a function of the objective data using a machine learning-base classifier. The method can include training a neural network using objective data of student interactions and associated subjective assessments of a skill of each objective data. The method includes receiving a new dataset with objective data of a new student and an associated subjective assessment of a skill of the first student represented by the new objective data. A predicted assessment of the skill of the new objective data is calculated by inputting the new objective data into the neural network. The method can include updating the neural network by combining the initial dataset and the new dataset and recompiling the neural network to fit the model dataset based on a learning algorithm.

A system server may receive user-identified information selected from one or more legal source documents at a user device, along with at least one unique identifier selected from a unique identifier selection box via a communication link. The server may then generate a summary that includes the unique identifier and the user-identified information, and may send the summary via the communication link to be displayed at the user device.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, heavy document object model (DOM) elements in a heavy web page are removed directly from a DOM tree subsequent to a request being received to navigate to another web page but before the web browser actually navigates to that other web page. In one example embodiment, the heavy DOM elements are deleted from the previous page during an ‘onbeforeunload’ event using a scripting language such as Javascript, to ensure that the render of the next page starts faster.
