  • Patent number: 9187282
Abstract: A winding device for winding a continuously arriving material web onto a reel, including a contact roller by which the material web can be guided and transferred to the reel in contact with the surface of the contact roller. The contact roller has a support tube and fibers, which protrude from the outside of the support tube and form the surface of the contact roller. The fibers extend essentially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the contact roller so that first ends of the fibers are affixed to the support tube and their other free ends define a surface of the contact roller.

  • Patent number: 9150192
Abstract: A coil spring is provided in a compressed state between a coupling wall section provided at a clutch guide and an inner-side locking section. The clutch guide is provided with a support section which supports one axial-direction end section of the coil spring from a side opposite to the clutch cover in an axial direction of the clutch guide. The clutch cover is provided with a leading-end protruding section which is projected with respect to the inner-side locking section so as to be inserted in the other axial-direction end section of the coil spring. The leading-end protruding section is inclined, with respect to a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the clutch cover, toward a support section side, so that the coil spring is curved so as to be convex to the support section side.

  • Patent number: 9150193
Abstract: A dual-mode retractor for an automotive seat belt webbing is configured to switch between a first mode and a second mode, the first mode being one of an ELR mode and an ALR mode, and the second mode being the other one of the ELR mode and the ALR mode. The retractor switches between the first mode and the second mode via a relative movement between a first part and a second part of the retractor. The magnetic field of a permanent magnet mounted on the first part is picked up by a Hall effect sensor. An interrupter plate is mounted on the second part in a position relative to the magnet, in which the interrupter plate, in which the interrupter plate exposes the HED to the original magnetic field in the first mode and to a modified magnetic field in the second mode.

  • Patent number: 9145106
Abstract: In a webbing-winding device, a tension acting on a webbing is smaller when a pretensioner-mechanism is actuated than when a force-limiter mechanism is actuated, thus, projection dimensions of a first claw and a second claw can be made smaller than projection dimensions of second contact portions. A total of contact areas of first contact portions and the second contact portions with a body portion is larger than a total of contact areas of the first claw and the second claw with the body portion. Accordingly, the first claw and the second claw are caused to insert through an insertion hole from the lower side of a stay to attach. Since the projection dimensions can be made smaller, an amount of deflection of the protector can be made smaller. Therefore, the protector can be held on the stay reliably to allow the protector to be attached to the stay easily.

  • Patent number: 9090226
Abstract: When an attempt is made to insert a fitting-shaft section into a fitting-hole section where phases of the fitting-shaft section of a spring-screw and the fitting-hole section of an adapter about a central-axis line of a spool-body are not matched, shaft-section-side inclined-surfaces formed at shaft-section-side protrusions abut to hole-section-side inclined-surfaces formed at hole-section-side protrusions, so the shaft-section-side inclined-surfaces press the hole-section-side inclined-surfaces in such a direction inclined in a pull-out direction to a projecting-direction of a shaft-section body from a flange section.

  • Patent number: 9090227
Abstract: To prevent the tilt of a locking member with respect to a spool even when the spool is tensioned by a seat belt in case of emergency. A second EA plate support member 16 that is integrated with a locking base 19 has a supported portion 21 having a cylindrical shape. The supported portion 21 is fitted into a locking base tilt prevention support portion 20 of a spool 9 and is supported so as to be rotatable relative to the locking base tilt prevention support portion 20 while the tilt of the supported portion 21 with respect to the spool 9 is being prevented. In this manner, even when the spool 9 is tensioned upward by a large tensional force of the seat belt 4 in case of emergency, the tilt of the center axis of the locking base 19 with respect to the center axis of the spool 9 is prevented. Thus, the EA operation of a seat belt retractor 3 is reliably and effectively performed.

  • Patent number: 9061867
Abstract: A device associated with a crane is described for the control of unwanted movements of a load that is connected to a hoisting line (14) via a number of branch hoisting wires (28, 29), and it is characterised in that the crane derrick comprises means that are arranged to push against the branch wires to dampen and eliminate the unwanted movements. According to the invention the device is used to control rotary movements of a container with four hoisting wires connected to a hook (36) at the end of the main hoisting wire (14) and the arm (22) is unfolded into an approximately vertical position, the two branch arms (28, 29) are folded out into a T-shape (FIG. 5), the arm is rotated further so that the branch arms (30, 32) push against the branch wires (28, 29) with a power sufficient to prevent the container from moving in unwanted ways. According to one variant, a device associated with a crane is proposed for the control of the hoisting line (13) itself for a load.
