  • Patent number: 11712075
Abstract: A lightweight, breathable glove for baseball or softball is provided that generally includes a strap that extends over at least a portion of an opening in which a wearer may place his or her hand. The strap is at least partially made of an elastic material so that the strap can extend and contract. The glove may thus have a reduced weight to provide superior ease of use. Further, the conforming fit of the glove provides for enhanced control of the glove, which provides superior utility and performance for the glove, as well as other advantages. Alternatively, the glove may include a thong which may extend from the glove and may engage an elastic band at one of its ends. Thus, the elastic band may engage both the glove and the thong so that the size of the opening can increase and decrease due to the strap and/or elastic band.

  • Patent number: 11690418
Abstract: A hood for a hooded garment may include apertures in the hood to improve a sealing connection between headphone earpieces and the outer portion of the user's ears while using headphones while also maintaining the hood's ability to retain body heat when not using headphones. While using the hood with headphones, the apertures may improve the sealing connection between the headphone earpieces and the user's ears and, thus, improve the function of the headphones (e.g., sound translation or sound deadening). While using the hood without headphones, a portion of mesh fabric sewn into the hood over the apertures allows the hood to retain the user's body heat and thereby mitigate heat loss through the hood caused by the apertures.

  • Patent number: 11666112
Abstract: A headborne attachment platform includes multiple rigid plates and straps of connecting material connecting the rigid plates in an assembly at independently selectable and pre-set distances apart from each other. The assembly of rigid plates is shaped and connected to sit adjacent to, and surround, the bone regions of a wearer's skull, and define an overall headgear shape and contour. The straps are more flexible than the rigid plates in directions perpendicular to the thickness of the straps, and the straps are inelastic in a direction of a length thereof. A tightening mechanism is configured to adjust a circumference of a headband region, and the rigid plates have mounting features configured to mount an outer helmet shell and/or a headborne device. • Patent number: 11617400
Abstract: A sleeper garment for an infant employs an anti-flail receptacle for mitigating a startling sensation from a flailing reflex that is inherent in development. The receptacle occupies the sleeve region and provides a limited region of movement to accommodate a controlled degree of movement, but constrains the movement to avoid startling a sleeping infant awake. The receptacle has a semicircular or polygonal shape that allows hand and elbow flexure, and a elastic mesh periphery to provide an elastic, cushioned response toward the end of the allowed range of movement as the periphery of the receptacle stretches. The receptacle defines a periphery from the shoulder toward the torso. This provides a more settling response to the flail reflex than a tight swaddle, which restricts almost all movement, and may be combined with pressure accessories to provide further soothing sensations simulating a caregiver touch.
