Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically adjusting notification frequency for a sporting event. During a sporting event, information related to the sporting event is received. A first level of interest of a user in the sporting event is determined. A performance metric of a competitor in the sporting event is determined. A second level of interest of the user in receiving notifications relating to the sporting event is generated as a function of the first level of interest and the performance metric. In response to determining that the second level of interest exceeds a notification frequency threshold, a notification is presented for the user that includes the information related to the sporting event when the information is received during the sporting event.

Abstract: A system and a method for determining application usage is disclosed. The system may receive activity data for one or more applications from a plurality of sources in a raw format. The plurality of sources comprises Single Sign-on Integration (SSO), direct application integration, Browser Agents, Desktop Agents, and financial integration. Further, the system may create a master data by parsing the activity data. The master data may be enriched with organization data, department data, application data, and billing data. Subsequently, the system may calculate weights for each source and for each activity for each application using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms. Further, a regression model may be trained based on the master data and the weights assigned to each source for each activity. Generating a usage score for each application at a user level, a department level, and an organizational level based on the trained regression model.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system are described. A method in an access point (AP) configured for medium access control (MAC) address designation (MAAD) is described. The AP is configured to wirelessly communicate with a station (STA). The method comprises determining a first MAC address of the STA, where the first MAC address is usable as a transmitter address (TA) of the STA for a subsequent association to the AP by the STA, and transmitting the first MAC address to the STA in one of a response action frame and a message of a multiple-message handshake process.

Abstract: A first device is logged in with a first user account. The first device displays an avatar of a second user account in a first user interface of the first device. In response to an interaction instruction triggered on the avatar of the second user account, the first device generates an interaction message according to a first field corresponding to the first user account, an action description field used for indicating an action performed by the first user account on the second user account, and a second field corresponding to the second user account. The first device transmits the interaction message to a second device that is logged in with the second user account.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a customer relationship management (CRM) system is queried to obtain a project that is associated with an entity (e.g., a user, a group of users, a client). A first list of one or more contacts (e.g., contact persons, referred to herein target contacts) associated with the project from the CRM system. For each of the contacts in the first list, a domain name is determined based on contact information of the contacts (e.g., emails, Web addresses, name of an account associated with the contacts). A first set of email addresses, referred to as target email addresses, is determined based on the domain name and contacts using a set of email identification rules. An email server is queried to retrieve a list of one or more emails and/or calendar events based on the first set of email addresses.

The acquired sensor data and the interaction data is then analyzed in order to generate classifier data from the acquired sensor data and the acquired interaction data. In a subsequent application phase, the method acquires current sensor data on at least the user state of the at least one other person, predicts an interaction score for the user based on the acquired current sensor data and the classifier data, and generates an interaction identifier for the user for an interaction with the at least one other person in the social network based on the predicted interaction score.

Abstract: Systems and methods for personalizing a computer application for a user are disclosed. The method including providing multiple user groups, where each user group is assigned a set of computer application features and no two sets of computer application features are identical. The method further includes monitoring computer application usage of the user over a first period of time; based on the monitored usage, allocating a first user group to the user from the multiple user groups, the first user group fitting the user; and personalizing the computer application for the user by providing the set of computer application features assigned to the first user group.

Abstract: A method and system for providing recipient recommendations to a user wishing to share content with a contact is provided. A message having the content along with a first contact is received from the user. Profiles from an entire social graph associated with the user and the first contact are searched to determine a shared attributed among both profiles. The shared attribute is used to search for a second contact to receive the content by searching for the shared attribute in a profile associated with the second contact. When a determination is made that the profile associated with the second contact has the shared attribute, the second contact is suggested as a recipient of the content.

Abstract: An internet protocol (IP) address allocation method includes receiving, by a forwarder, an address request sent by an external network element, where the address request includes a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) request of user equipment (UE) and user characteristic information of the UE, acquiring, from a DHCP service network element according to the DHCP request, an IP address allocated to the UE, and acquiring first instruction information that is delivered by a control device according to the user characteristic information of the UE and the IP address allocated to the UE, and sending the IP address to the UE according to the user characteristic information.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for increasing messaging activity in a messaging system. Using the interactions of users with each other and/or with the messaging system, the disclosed systems and methods can predict how likely a pairing of two or more users are to engage in a highly active messaging thread. Based on this prediction, the disclosed methods and systems can, for example, more effectively organize contact lists and conduct promotional efforts associated with messaging features.

Abstract: Systems and methods for cross-domain tracking of users are disclosed. Embodiments provide mechanism for a unique identifier generated for a first domain (also referred to as a cross domain identifier) and stored at the user device to be made available to a second domain via a cross domain identifier system (XID system) such that the second domain can also use the same unique identifier for the user. This way, a user is identified at multiple domains of the organization using a single unique identifier. Further, in case a user identifier cannot be provided from the first domain to the second, the unique identifier can be created based on a fingerprint of the user's browser.

Abstract: Techniques for minimizing data flow from a first computing infrastructure hosting an email service platform to a second computing infrastructure at least partly hosting an email security platform that provides security analysis on emails of the email service. The email security platform may extract metadata from emails received at the first computing infrastructure, and send that metadata to the second computing infrastructure that is hosting a back end of the email service platform. The metadata extracted from the emails may include less confidential contained in an email, but enough information for the email security platform to determine whether an email is potentially malicious. Thus, the security analysis performed on emails to detect malicious attacks may be offloaded to the second computing infrastructure, but the metadata that leaves the first computing infrastructure and flows to the second computing infrastructure may be minimized by extracting meaningful metadata.
