Abstract: One embodiment provides a method, including: detecting, on a social media application, a media object comprising at least one image of a final product made from at least one purchased raw product; extracting, from the media object and text corresponding to the social media application post, (i) information related to the final product and (ii) social feedback regarding the final product; determining, based upon the social feedback, that the use of the at least one purchased raw product into the final product comprises positive social feedback; and providing a recommendation regarding the use of the at least one purchased raw product to one or more other individuals, wherein the recommendation is generated using the information related to the final product.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing customer requests to access purchasable items using financial assessments are described. A customer using a mobile device can identify a good of interest and transmit a request to access and test it. A financial institution computing system with a database of customer financial information can generate a financial assessment of the customer and the customer's identified good, which can then be used to determine whether the customer's request should be granted.

Abstract: A method for merchant-side tracking of customer selections includes receiving, via a user list script on a merchant webpage, a user selection of a product representation displayed on a UI of a user device. The method includes updating a user list with the user selection, the user list associated with a generic user representation. The method includes determining, based on a type of identifier associated with a user of the user device, to use a generic user representation with the user list. The method includes selecting, based on the generic user representation, an anonymous user flow type for tracking the user as an anonymous user of the merchant webpage. The anonymous user flow type associates the user device with the user list independently of associating the user with the merchant.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes: monitoring, by a user device, a location of the user device; determining, by the user device and based on the monitoring, that the user is within a threshold distance or a threshold arrival time of the service provider location; and outputting, by the user device, user information to the service provider based on the determining that the user is within the threshold distance or the threshold arrival time of the service provider location. The user information indicates services to provide to the user by the service provider upon the user's arrival to the service provider location. The outputting causes the service provider to receive the user information for serving the user upon the user's arrival to the service provider location.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, devices, and the like for presenting a recommendation. In one embodiment, a system is introduced that includes a plurality of models for obtaining a recommendation score. The recommendation score may be obtained using one or more recommendation models and a recommendation made based on the recommendation score determined. In another embodiment, the system is introduced that can re-train the recommendation model based on a feedback received in response to a recommendation made using on the recommendation score obtained.

Abstract: Systems and methods for color coordination for scanned products are provided. A kiosk has a control module, an input device, a display device, and an optical code reader. The kiosk has access to a product/color database. The control module is configured to receive an identification code scanned by the optical code reader, determine a sample product associated with the identification code, determine at least one coordinating color for the sample product based on the product/color database, display a simulated environment including a sample room having at least one selectable surface, display on the display device the at least one coordinating color, receive with the input device a selected color, receive with the input device a selected surface from the sample room, display on the display device the simulated environment showing the sample room with the sample product and with the selected color on the selected surface of the sample room.

Abstract: Techniques are described for analyzing data regarding users and purchasable items, and providing user experiences to users regarding the buying, leasing, and/or selling of item(s), the history of item(s), and/or other services associated with the item(s). Data may be analyzed by a data engine that provides output to power multiple user experiences (e.g., user interfaces). Such user experiences may include providing a user with recommendation(s) of items that may be of interest to the user. Recommendations may be determined using one or more algorithms, such as a content-based, criteria-based, and/or collaborative algorithm. The recommendation(s) may be presented to the user through a search user interface.

Abstract: A store is described, including an ordering interface, a storage area, automated vehicles, and a central processing system. The ordering interface accepts selections of items for purchase from a shopper. The storage area, stocking items for sale, is separate from the area containing the ordering interface. The automated vehicles retrieve items from the storage area. The central processing system is configured to: check-in the shopper; assign an order fulfilment module to the shopper; receive selections of items from the ordering interface in real-time, as the shopper selects the items for purchase; send the selections to the order fulfilment module for retrieval in real-time; check-out the shopper when the shopper is finished selecting items; and arrange delivery of the completed order to the shopper. The order fulfilment module assigns automated vehicles to retrieve the items for purchase in real-time. A method for operating a store is also described.

Abstract: A system for interconnecting network devices based on queuing and servicing responses includes one or more processors configured to receive, from a first computer system, an order request for a product or service associated with a second computer system of a plurality of second computer systems. Instantiate an order messaging queue associated with the order request and add an identifier of the first computer system to the order messaging queue. Add an identifier of the second computer system and one of the third computer systems to the order messaging queue. Determine the contents of the communication and based on determining contents of the communication, consult a response rule table to determine a response to the communication. Access the order messaging queue to identify server devices corresponding with servicing the determined response and publish, to the identified server devices.

Abstract: According to certain aspects of the disclosure, a computer-implemented method may be used for providing a vehicle recommendation based on user gestures. The method may include displaying at least one image of a vehicle to a user and receiving at least one gesture from the user performed on the at least one image of the vehicle. Additionally, the method may include assigning a value to the at least one gesture from the user and determining a feature of the vehicle based on the at least one gesture from the user. Additionally, the method may include receiving gesture information related to the at least one gesture and determining a vehicle preference of the user based on the value, the feature of the vehicle, and the gesture information. Additionally, the method may include identifying at least one available vehicle based on the vehicle preference of the user and displaying the at least one available vehicle to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating event templates for requested event types are described herein. In an embodiment, a server computer receives transactional data describing transactions between a plurality of computing devices. The server computer uses the transactional data to identify a plurality of instances of a particular event type by determining, for each instance, that a plurality of transactions associated with a particular computing device relate to an event of the particular event type. The server computer uses the transactional data related to the plurality of instances of the particular event type to determine a plurality of items for the particular event type. When the server computer receives a request from a client computing device to generate an event, the server computer generates and displays an event template which identifies the plurality of items.

Abstract: A computerized system and method of managing events surrounding the lifecycle of used and new mobile devices. The system provides a “360 view” that integrates a mobile device's service options, such as financing and device protection, as well as at the device level regarding potential hardware/software errors. This provides an end-to-end view of consumers, such as claims on device protection plans, repayment issues, utilization of upgrades and/or other information in a user's profile across multiple underlying systems during the device's lifecycle.

Abstract: A system and computer-readable storage medium perform a method of augmenting eCommerce with quasi in-person discovery facilitated by an eCommerce platform that: (i) presents, to a buyer on a buyer user interface (UI) provided by buyer user device(s), an eCommerce opportunity associated with a tangible object that is offered by a seller via a seller UI; (ii) provides an interactive control affordance on the buyer UI that enables the buyer to select for presentation another visual aspect of the tangible object that is provided by the seller UI; (iii) recognizes, by an augmented reality component of the buyer user device(s), a discovered attribute of the other visual aspect of the tangible object; (iv) accesses information related to the discovered attribute that is pertinent to the eCommerce opportunity; and (v) presents, to the buyer on the buyer user interface, an augmented reality informational item associated with the discovered attribute.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a list of products each matching a reference product are disclosed. A user query is first received, and multi-modal attribute data for the reference product are determined, with each data mode being a type of product characterization having a modality selected from a text data class, categorical data, a pre-compared engineered feature, audio, image, and video. Next, a first list of candidate products is determined based on a product match signature, and a second list of candidate products is generated from the first, wherein for at least one given candidate product, a deep learning multi-modal matching model is selected to determine whether a match is found. Lastly, the second list is filtered to remove outliers and to generate the list of matching products. Also disclosed are benefits of the new methods and systems, and alternative embodiments of the implementation.

Abstract: During a conversation between a customer and a customer support representative, suggestions may be presented to the customer support representative to upsell a product to the customer. Information about the customer and/or information about the conversation may be processed by a computer to determine when to suggest the upsell to the customer support representative and the one or more products to be upsold. The determination may be performed by computing features from the information about the customer and the information about the conversation, and processing the features with one or more classifiers.

Abstract: The present invention facilitates secure display and sale of copyright protected images, by showing alternate reciprocal images, with complementary obstructed/degraded and clearly visible areas. System components include server machines and/or computer terminals with a screen or other display mechanism. The system may be connected through a communications network or it may be self-contained on a stand-alone, specialized computer system. System components further include non-transitory computer-readable media containing a database of images. The system creates and displays alternate reciprocal images showing blockades covering faces, patterns or objects of interest in a first image and showing the same faces, patterns or objects shown as clearly visible with all surroundings having degraded resolution or blur. Users are provided an opportunity to purchase the image and a clean copy of the image is delivered to the user upon completion of a purchase transaction.

Abstract: A system and method for generating and displaying a print product offering including a plurality of digital images is provided. The method comprises: providing a photo lab computing device comprising a memory, wherein a plurality of digital images are stored in the memory; generating a group of digital images from the plurality of digital images; classifying each of the digital images within the group based on at least one image quality parameter; selecting one or more of the digital images in the group which conform to the at least one image quality parameter; generating an image product template design including the digital images which conform to the at least one image quality parameter; and displaying the image product template design as a print product offering.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating event templates for requested event types are described herein. In an embodiment, a server computer receives transactional data describing transactions between a plurality of computing devices. The server computer uses the transactional data to identify a plurality of instances of a particular event type by determining, for each instance, that a plurality of transactions associated with a particular computing device relate to an event of the particular event type. Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to training and using machine learning models to determine user intent from a search query, for example via a semantic parse that identifies particular catalog fields for items in an electronic catalog that would satisfy the user's current mission as reflected in their search query intent. The determined intent can then be used to filter recommendations and/or pre-select attribute-value input fields on detail pages displayed after the user navigates away from the search results page, until the mission is complete.

Abstract: One or more embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods providing improved customer service to visiting customers of a brick-and-mortar merchant location. For example, a customer recognition system intelligently detects and notifies a merchant when a customer is in need of assistance based on the customer's facial expression. The customer recognition system can also identify a product associated with the customer need. In some examples, the customer recognition system identifies a user profile associated with a customer shopping at a merchant location, determines a trust level for the customer based on user profile information, and based on the trust level, causes a secured product display to provide a customer access to a secured product.
