Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a transaction initiation request from a first user via a first computing device. A first micro-location parameter relating to a micro-location of the first computing device is received. Approval of the transaction initiation request is requested from a second user via a second computing device. Approval of the transaction initiation request is received from the second user via the second computing device. A second micro-location parameter relating to a micro-location of the second computing device is received. The transaction is approved if the micro-locations of the first and second computing devices indicate that the first and second computing devices are at least a predetermined distance from each other.

  • Patent number: 10929934
Abstract: Disclosed are computer implemented systems and methods for in situ inspection of a roof of a policy holder's dwelling. The inspection system establishes a baseline condition at a first point in time for the roof by scanning using one or more sensors to collect baseline condition data. The roof is scanned at a point in time subsequent to the first point in time to establish a present condition using the one or more sensors to collect present condition data. The baseline condition data and the present condition data are transmitted to a computing device which compares the baseline condition data with the present condition data to determine anomalies indicative of roof damage or deterioration and/or to determine repair needs for the roof.

  • Patent number: 10902429
Abstract: Database organizational techniques and structures may impose storage and computational limits that render particular operations too slow to effectively execute within speed guarantees (e.g. allowing a function to be completed within 300 ms). Thus, sometimes it is inefficient to access and maintain certain data, particularly in large data environments. One such environment relates to event logging for security, fraud, and risk purposes. When hundreds or thousands of events can occur in short time periods, database queries can be slow. By using particular algorithms and data structuring, however, event log data can be utilized in a flexible and speedy manner in various embodiments that may still enable service guarantees to be met. In some cases, this may involve updating one or more event counters for one or more particular periods of time, which may be indicative of event velocity (i.e. how often certain events are occurring).

  • Patent number: 10762559
Abstract: A method and apparatus for facilitating access to credit scores in an enterprise system. A request that includes a context resource identifier may be received at a proxy server from a client. The proxy server controls access to a resource associated with an interface that is referenced by the context resource identifier using a profile that is dynamically built for a user of the client based on a plurality of resource profiles received from a plurality of interfaces in communication with the proxy server. The proxy server sends a response generated by the resource to the client. The response includes a credit score for an entity that is based on a current financial state of the entity. Controlling access to the resource based on the context resource identifier and the profile for the user increases a speed of access to the resource in the enterprise system.
