Current season shoots lose apical dominance, easily promoting several laterals without the need of any summer pruning. The eating quality of ‘BB17-321PT-1’ is excellent and the crunchiness is superior to all varieties currently grown in Peru known to Applicant, with a sugar/acidity balance of 20 to 30. Time of fruit production in ‘BB17-321PT-1’ can be regulated by the pruning date and environment conditions.
