Abstract: A hanukiah that includes a base, eight oil holders and a ninth one that serve as a shamash. Each of the oil holders is shaped as a hollow cup that has a top opening and a narrower hollow leg that includes two opposite horizontal holes. The oil holders are designed to receive oil for lighting a wick. The base includes nine vertical holes which are designed to receive the narrow hollow legs in a way that enables them to rotate inside. The vertical holes are connected together by a horizontal pipe. The user may pour oil into the shamash oil holder and by that to fill the other oil holders. The user may turn one of said oil holders to determine how many of them will be filled by oil.
Abstract: The present invention relates to filled polymeric materials including a polymer and a filler distributed within the polymer, and to light weight composites which comprise at least a pair of metallic layers and a polymeric layer interposed between the pair of metallic layers, the polymeric layer containing the filled polymeric material. The composite materials of the present invention may be formed using conventional stamping equipment at ambient temperatures. Composite materials of the present invention may also be capable of being welded to other metal materials. The composite materials may be employed in an automotive part. Preferred composite materials include one or any combination of the following features: metallic fibers, ribbon fibers; or a polyolefin.
Abstract: A portable vaporizer is described herein. The portable vaporizer includes a heating assembly having a base and a heating crucible. An extension adapter is coupled to the base of the heating assembly and slidably received within the chamber body. A cartridge receiver is coupled to the chamber body and receives a cartridge therein. A plunger having a head and a threaded shaft is received within the cartridge. The threaded shaft includes a flat edge. A cover having a bore is coupled to the cartridge receiver. The threaded shaft is threadably received through the bore. A mouthpiece having a central bore is received over the threaded shaft. A detent radially extends into the central bore and engages with the flat edge of the threaded shaft. A rotation of the mouthpiece causes an axial movement of the head of the plunger within the cartridge with respect to the cover.

Abstract: The Universal Lightweight and Portable Deicing Mat Mat is made of standard top of the line electrically operated and self-regulating standard commercial grade heating cables, which are enclosed between two thin, lightweight, yet strong and protective Neoprene Rubber like sheeting materials, allowing them to endure harshest of winter seasons. These mats can be placed either externally on top of tractor trailers, or they can be placed internally, inside of the tractor trailer, above the ceiling. Both ways can then be secured with custom designed mounting kits, (discussed in further detail). These Deicing Mats can also be used on roofs of residential homes as well as other types of commercial buildings and automobiles.
Abstract: An apparatus and method of manufacturing a fluorosilicone composite for a variable data lithography imaging member surface layer. Examples of the fluorosilicone composite include a first part and a second part, the first part having fluorosilicone, carbon black, silica and butyl acetate, the second part having a platinum catalyst, a crosslinker, butyl acetate and an inhibitor. The first part may also include a dispersant (e.g., a polyoxyalkylene amine derivative) that removes a need for shaking the dispersion by paint shaker and instead allows a more manufacture friendly roll ball milling process. The dispersant will also help in stabilizing the fluorosilicone composite for scaled up production.

Abstract: Additive manufacturing methods and apparatus are described for the direct, automated, tooling-less fabrication of composite parts with complex shapes such as fiber-reinforced composite parts with isotropic properties. In some embodiments, fibers parallel to one axis (e.g. Z) are provided initially (e.g., as a preform) and layers are fabricated by selectively curing a resin around these fibers while adding other fibers with other orientations. In some embodiments, fibers are rendered substantially transparent by immersing them in a refractive index matching liquid, thus allowing selective curing of a resin in the presence of the fibers.
Abstract: A system for assembling electronic circuits on an electrically non-conductive surface or substrate. The system incorporates electronic components integrated into electronic component modules. The electronic component modules include identification markings on the top surfaces and electronic contact pads on the bottom surfaces. Electrical interconnects between discrete electronic component modules is achieved through the use of electrically conductive traces placed on the substrate surface. The bottom surfaces of the electronic component modules are coated with an adhesive so the electronic component modules can be mounted onto the substrate. The electronic component modules are affixed to the substrate such that the electronic component modules contact pads make electrical contact with the appropriate electrically conductive traces.

Abstract: Embodiments of the mold for making the Chemical Resistant Composite Support Pad are comprised of a top and bottom molds where the top mold is comprised of a mold lip, a pneumatic ejection port, a lid aperture, a magnetic cover for the pneumatic ejection port, and a lid. The method of making a chemical resistant composite support pad comprises the steps of spraying a coating of polymer agent into the top mold and the bottom mold. A controlled run of an agent is sprayed into the joined top and bottom molds along the joint of the top mold and the bottom mold. Polymeric foam is injected through the lid aperture, the lid is replaced, and the foam is allowed to cure. The molds are separated, and compressed air is used to eject the support pad out of the mold. Any irregularities are repaired by spraying the coating of polymer agent.

Abstract: A water conditioned smoking device such as a bong, hookah or the like comprises a source of pressurized air that communicates with a sparger placed in a conditioning water retention chamber of the device such that the pressurized gas enters the chamber below the level of water to be used in the conditioning bath and thereby aerates the bath and smoke. The improved device produces superior smoke conditioning.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an aluminum strip, in which the aluminum strip is coated with a sorption layer which has a binder and a sorbent. The object to propose a method for producing an aluminum strip coated with a sorption layer, by means of which an aluminum strip can be coated cost-effectively having constant performance characteristics with respect to the sorption of, for example, water vapor, is achieved according to the invention by means of a method for producing an aluminum strip coated with a sorption layer by applying a suspension to the aluminum strip in the coil-coating process, which in addition to a liquid comprises at least one binder, formed as a solid, and a sorbent, and by subjecting the aluminum strip, together with the applied suspension, to a drying process, in which the binder is activated.

The corrosion resistant composition includes a salt of inorganic constituents, and alkaline polyamine fatty acid salt (PFAS) as a corrosion inhibitor, suspended in a polymeric resin remainder. The coating material may be applied to metal parts but not limited to aircraft fasteners, such as aircraft fastener parts, including nuts and bolts, screws, rivets, and sleeved systems.
Abstract: A novel chemical cycle for producing and capturing ammonia using nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide containing feedstocks is presented. An example of this cycle may start with the reaction between lithium nitride and hydrogen sulfide containing materials to form both lithium sulfide containing material and ammonia, where the produced ammonia is separated and captured. Metallic lithium may then be extracted high temperatures from said lithium sulfide containing material and then may or may not be separated from the said lithium sulfide containing material and other byproducts. The said extracted metallic lithium containing material may then be reacted with nitrogen containing feedstock to form lithium nitride containing material to complete the cycle.

Abstract: A resin composition is provided, which comprises: an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A); and a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (B) having an ethylene content of not less than 70 mol %, wherein the component (B) is present in a proportion of 1 to 30 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the component (A). Where the resin composition is used in combination with a scrap laminate including a polyolefin resin layer and an EVOH layer for recycling the scrap laminate, die build-up is suppressed, and a product formed from the resulting recycled material is excellent in appearance and substantially free from coloration.

Abstract: This patent incorporates several new hybrid thermoelectric element and thermoelectric device designs that utilize additional electronic materials to enhance the flow of charges in the thermoelectric elements without changing thermoelectric nature of the thermoelectric material used. The thermoelectric device efficiency is thereby increased and cost and size are lowered. Thermoelectric conversion devices using the new design criteria have demonstrated comparative higher performance than current commercially available standard design thermoelectric conversion devices.
