  • Patent number: 10160185
Abstract: The claimed invention differs from what currently exists as Kevlar core is encased by resinated Jute/burlap, with optional addition of one or more layers of resinated Kevlar, and/or Carbon Fiber for additional structural support. Insulation and barrier is inserted to overcome backface deformation and blast overpressure to the composite. Less the 0.2 mm aluminum sheeting is inserted to deflect electromagnetic pulse jamming. Entire composite is then coated with insulating intumescing or other class A fire resistant coating. This results in a Composite which becomes very strong with a reduction in raw material costs, that is not only resistant to projectiles, but is also resistant to acid, blast overpressure, backface deformation, electromagnetic pulse and direct flame in excess of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Patent number: 10066093
Abstract: Barrier films are prepared from a blend of two high density polyethylene blend components and a high performance organic nucleating agent. The two high density polyethylene blend components have substantially different melt indices. Large reductions in the moisture vapor transmission rate of the film are observed in the presence of the nucleating agent when the melt indices of the two blend components have a ratio of greater than 10/1. The resulting barrier films are suitable for the preparation of packaging for dry foods such as crackers and breakfast cereals.

  • Patent number: 10059143
Abstract: This is a method to alter a two-dimensional work into a three-dimensional version of that work, and then disguise it as a common two-dimensional work. The two-dimensional work must be malleable or made malleable by adhering a malleable backing, such as sheet metal, such that it retains the new shape when bent. Foreground elements of the work's subject matter are then moved physically closer to the viewer than background elements by sculpting techniques like bending, thus making the original work now three-dimensional. The work is then enclosed in a structure like a box with a window allowing the work to be seen. The window obscures the edges of the work such that viewing the art from multiple angles doesn't easily reveal the edge of work.

  • Patent number: 9999244
Abstract: A Pre-Rolled Smoking Paper Stuffer has a chimney which includes a separator wall bin, converging guide, cradle, tip spacer, and base walls and an extractor base which includes an extractor block, alignment block, and tip pusher. A smoking paper can be inserted into the cradle. Smoking materials are placed into the bin and flow out of the bin and into the converging guide which funnels them into the smoking paper held within the cradle. Once filled, the chimney is pressed onto the base and the alignment block aligns the tip pusher with the smoking-end of the paper. As the chimney continues to be pushed down, the tip pusher displaces the filled smoking paper up and out of the top of the cradle. The stuffed paper can be grasped and lifted out of the stuffer.
