Abstract: A system and method for defining and processing timed orders are defined. According to one embodiment, a trader may define a timed order by defining an intra-day time trigger or a time period when the timed order should be automatically modified, such as deleted or cancelled/replaced with a new order. In one embodiment, the intra-day time trigger or time period may be dynamically changed to a later time, for example, upon receiving a predetermined user input. Also, the time trigger and time period may be configured to dynamically vary based on any user configurable formula. Also, the timed order may be associated with one or more actions to be taken once the order is deleted, such as sending a new order, for example.

Abstract: The database management system can include a plurality of databases, including a first database and a second database. The first database can include a plurality of database tables and/or indexes for storing account data records and a plurality of associated first database identifiers. In some embodiments, the first database includes a first database query system. The second database can include a second database table and/or index configured to store a plurality of symbolic data. In some embodiments, the second database includes a management module for generating symbolic data to be stored in the second database table and/or for generating a plurality of reports, among other things.

Abstract: A system and corresponding method are provided. The system includes a plurality of first entities (such as banks), each first entity communicatively connected to at least one distributed traffic agent (DTA), a second entity (such as a central facility) communicatively connected to a DTA, and a communication network communicatively connecting the DTAs. A payload containing a data file (such as electronic check presentment data, electronic payment data, or any other data type) is communicated from one first entity to another through their respective DTAs via the communication network. In addition, a transmittal containing control information corresponding to the payload is communicated from the one first entity to the second entity through their respective DTAs via the communication network.

Abstract: A system and method for straight through payment processing when the merchant is known but the merchant's payment card acquirer is unknown. Payment instructions from a payee to the merchant are normalized for a target acquirer system which is selected either at random, based on business logic and data, or based on successful past straight through payments. Payments are attempted for each acquirer successively until a successful payment notification is received. The link to the merchant and acquirer is then saved for subsequent straight through payments to that merchant.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for processing insurance claims in a manner that reduces or eliminates a need for an adjuster to visit an insured person or property of the insured person. The method includes receiving a query from an insured regarding a claim and determining if the insured has a mobile device with a video camera capable of streaming video to the insurance claim processing system. If a mobile device capable of streaming video is available, the system generates an electronic invitation to a one-way streaming video session and transmits the electronic invitation to the mobile device. Upon acceptance, the system initiates the one-way video session, receives real-time streaming video, and appends received video from the real-time streaming video to a claim workfile. In alternative implementations, the system can remotely control the camera and other features of the mobile device during the one-way streaming video session.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed. A GUI is provided that includes at least one interactive location of a trading screen. The location corresponds to a tradeable object. A graphical object is populated with data relating to a current market condition, and the object is populated on the basis of a respective location in the trading screen. The GUI object is presented in the graphical user interface, at the respective location in the trading screen such that the GUI object presents a portion of the populated data centered around the respective location. A tactile input action associated with the object is received in the GUI, and the trade instruction is caused to be constructed that is associated with the GUI object and the received single-click action. Further, the trade instruction is transmitted to at least one computing device that is configured to execute the trade instruction.

Abstract: Described herein are architectures, platforms and methods for dynamic amplification/boosting of near field communications (NFC) antenna transmission power in a device during NFC related functions that require increase in an NFC antenna transmission power such as a payment transaction. For example, to comply with Europay MasterCard and Visa (EMVco) standards with regard to higher NFC antenna transmission power during the EMVco transactions, the NFC antenna transmission power may be dynamically controlled to maximize efficiency of a battery/power supply of the device.

Abstract: A procedure is enabled to respond to an order en route to a marketplace so that the procedure can determine whether to generate a spawned order, and the spawned order is sent to a destination for execution essentially contemporaneously with the sending of the en route order to the marketplace. The spawned order can be sent to the same marketplace or a different marketplace than the en route order is sent to. The spawned orders provide additional liquidity.

Abstract: A method of processing overhead imagery of a property includes providing a computing device having a processor and a memory, receiving images of the property from one or more overhead image sources, and positionally correlating the images using the processor. Using the positionally correlated images, one or more features associated with the property are detected, wherein the one or more features include structures on the property and risks to the structures on the property. The method further includes determining, using the processor, a premium for an insurance policy covering the property using at least in part the detected one or more features associated with the property and non-physical risks associated with the property. A quote for the determined premium for the insurance policy is then provided to the user.

The system and methods provide process support by helping financial professionals identify, analyze, and construct data analysis patterns based on individual domain knowledge and preferences. The system and methods automatically detect abnormal patterns and automatically analyze their correlations to market events to provide further process support to financial professionals. Using the results of any searching, analysis, and processing, the system and methods provide a neural network or other learning algorithm to provide content-based decision-making support.
