Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for managing a notification bar message. The method according to the present invention includes: searching for a resident notification message; after the resident notification message is found, displaying, in a notification bar, prompt information prompting whether to delete the resident notification message; and if a user chooses to delete the resident notification message, deleting the resident notification message according to a system permission.

Abstract: Techniques for generating a user interface (UI) for a public safety user are provided. An event trigger may be received at a computing device associated with a public safety user. The event trigger may be associated with a public safety event. Historical interaction with at least one UI object by the public safety user when handling previous event triggers of the same type as the received event trigger may be determined. The historical interaction may be retrieved from a historical UI interaction data store. UI objects that the public safety user may interact with to handle the received event trigger may be identified based on the determined historical interaction. A UI may be generated to handle the received event trigger, the UI to handle the received event trigger including the identified UI objects.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for storing data representing respective sub-elements of a complex task. Data representing one or more links between two or more sub-elements is stored, the links indicating a dependency between said sub-elements. A work order is calculated based on the identified links. A graphical representation of the calculated work order which indicates said sub-elements and their dependencies is provided. The links may indicate a temporal dependency of a second sub-element on a first sub-element and in which the provided graphical representation presents the temporal relationship of the sub-elements. Historical data may be received for association with one or more selected links or sub-elements, the historical data related to a prior event and which affects the temporal relationship between the sub-elements. An updated work order modified by the historical data may be calculated. An updated graphical representation of the work order may be provided.

Abstract: An environmental pertinence interface generated by an example apparatus, method, and computer program product is provided. The apparatus receives an interface request from a mobile device and location data relating to the mobile device. The apparatus queries a database to identify environmental objects that satisfy a proximity threshold. The apparatus identifies environmental pertinence digital content items when the proximity threshold is satisfied. The apparatus applies user permissions rules to determine a user-permitted environmental pertinence digital content item set and generates an environmental pertinence interface for display by the mobile device.

Abstract: A device and associated methods for entering a PIN via tapping are disclosed. The device can be configured to determine a number of taps provided by a PIN holder on a touch sensor in representation of a PIN digit and to store the number of taps as a digit in a sequence that represents the PIN. Indications for interaction with the device can be provided to PIN holders in the form of auditory cues. A visually impaired PIN holder may be able to complete a PIN entry process by following the indications for interaction, tapping on a touch sensor a number of times equal to the value of the digit of the PIN to be entered, and performing gestures mapped to commands for the device.

In an embodiment, the graphical user interface comprises a graphical representation of a carousel used by the scanning system. The graphical representation of the carousel comprises a graphical representation of each of a plurality of rack slots, configured to receive slide racks. The graphical representation of the carousel indicates a position of the carousel, and the graphical representation of each of the plurality of rack slots indicates a status of the represented rack slot and/or a slide rack within the represented rack slot.

Abstract: Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe systems, methods, and devices for generating a design layout. In an embodiment, a design generator may present one or more templates comprising one or more design elements. In response to a selection of one or more of the templates, the design generator may generate a variation vector based on similarities and/or differences between the one or more design elements. In an embodiment, the design generator may generate a layering vector based on the one or more design elements. In response to subsequent selections, the design generator may generate subsequent templates by implementing the variation vector and/or the layering vector in association with the selected template(s). The design generator may store and/or otherwise capture the features of a selected template, and apply the features to future design projects.

Abstract: A method for an automatic generation of industrial process graphics includes: receiving engineering data, device data, and sensor data of an industrial plant having a plurality of field devices, the engineering data, device data, and sensor data being assigned to a single or multiple field devices; extracting field device information for each field device of a plurality of the field devices from the assigned engineering data, device data, and sensor data; and generating a plurality of process graphics for each field device of the plurality of the field devices. The plurality of process graphics for each field device covers a plurality of different abstraction levels of the industrial plant.

Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are disclosed for providing a graphical user interface for tagging external content. In accordance with some embodiments, a method is provided for tagging content external to a database system. The method comprises accessing the external content of an electronic device. The method may comprise enhancing the web browser by providing a tagging interface for tagging at least a portion of the external content. The method may further comprise receiving created tag associated with a tagged portion of the external document content, and exporting the external content and the received tag to the database system. The tagging interface can also provide an option to export the created tag to an internal database system.

The method includes: receiving a first touch-operation instruction directed at a main image on a display screen; determining whether a first touch track corresponding to the first touch-operation instruction enters a blocking-sensable region; when the first touch track does not enter the blocking-sensable region, providing an aerial view of the main image in a first aerial view region for display; when the first touch track enters the blocking-sensable region, moving the aerial view from the first aerial view region to a second aerial view region for display, or hiding the aerial view. With the above method, the influence of the interface elements on the display effect can be flexibly eliminated, and the blocking effect can be reduced.
