Abstract: In one embodiment, a system and method for reporting lost items includes presenting a lost item reporting link associated with an entity having a plurality of different physical establishment locations; receiving a user selection of the lost item reporting link; presenting at a website, in response to the user selection of the lost item reporting link, a graphical user interface configured to solicit lost item recovery information, the website being associated with the entity having the plurality of different physical establishments; receiving the lost item recovery information via the graphical user interface; and transmitting the lost item recovery information to a third party online lost and found system.

Abstract: A method for providing user feedback for a website includes generating, via a programming interface of a first computing device, a substantially transparent overlay for a graphical user interface (GUI) of a web page, the substantially transparent overlay preventing user interaction with the GUI of the web page, receiving coordinates of an area on the substantially transparent overlay, translating, by the first computing device, the coordinates of the area on the substantially transparent overlay to source code for an element on the GUI of the web page located at a corresponding position of the coordinates of the area on the substantially transparent overlay, and transmitting, by the first computing device, source code for the element to a second computing device for rendering the element on a second computing device GUI.

Abstract: A virtual area has a spatial visualization and includes zones that are associated with respective geometric boundaries located in relation to the spatial visualization. Realtime data stream connections between sources and sinks of network nodes in the zones of the virtual area are administered to provide a wide variety of virtual area applications, including virtual area applications that implement spatial rules for one or more synchronous conferencing services (e.g., instant messaging, such as text chat, audio conferencing, video conferencing, application sharing, and file sharing).

Abstract: Usage metrics for augmented reality content may be identified and analyzed to determine measures of fitness for respective usage metrics. The measures of fitness may indicate a level of correlation with an outcome specified by an augmented reality content creator and an amount of interaction with an augmented reality content item by users of a client application. Recommendations may be provided to augmented reality content creators indicating modifications to augmented reality content items that have at least a threshold probability of increasing the level of interaction between users of the client application and the augmented reality content item.

Abstract: Techniques are described for trace layer for replicating a source region of a digital image. In an implementation, a user leverages a content editing system to select a source region of a source image to be replicated and a target region of a target image to which portions of the source region are to be replicated. A trace layer is generated that is a visual representation of portions of the source region, and the trace layer is positioned on the target region of the target image. Further, the trace layer is generated based on a visibility factor such that the trace layer is at least partially transparent. The trace layer receives user interaction to select portions of the trace layer and visibility of the selected portions is modified to replicate corresponding portions of the source region to the target region.

Abstract: A personalized emoji dictionary, such as for use with emoji-first messaging. Text messaging is automatically converted to emojis by an emoji-first application so that only emojis are communicated from one client device to another client device. Each client device has a personalized emoji library of emojis that are mapped to words, which libraries are customizable and unique to the users of the client devices, such that the users can communicate secretly in code. Upon receipt of a string of emojis, a user can select the emoji string to convert to text if desired, for a predetermined period of time.

Abstract: In one aspect, an example method to be performed by a computing device includes (a) receiving a request to use a camera of the computing device; (b) in response to receiving the request, (i) using a microphone of the computing device to capture audio content and (ii) using the camera of the computing device to capture an image; (c) identifying reference audio content that has at least a threshold extent of similarity with the captured audio content; and (d) outputting an indication of the identified reference audio content while displaying the captured image.

A computer system receives a representation of a first user interface template that specifies an arrangement of user interface elements. The computer system receiving a request to use the first user interface template for a respective computer system that includes a plurality of installed applications. The computer system initiates a process for creating a user interface for the respective computer system using the first user interface template. The process includes, in accordance with a determination that a first application is not available on the respective computer system, displaying an alert indicating that the first application needs to be installed on the respective computer system. The process includes, in accordance with a determination that the first application is available on the respective computer system, forgoing displaying the alert.

Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for implementing workflows across multiple differing systems and devices are provided herein. During operation a workflow is automatically generated upon the detection of new device capabilities. In particular, a workflow server will detect the presence of new device capabilities in a particular area. The new device capabilities will be analyzed, and an appropriate trigger and action will be determined based on the new device capabilities. The appropriate trigger and action will then be implemented as a newly-created workflow.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for generating an aggregated user interface display. The aggregated user interface display includes a physical display of a computing device and a projected display from an electronic pen. Operator interactions with the aggregated user interface display are saved as historical information. The historical information is used to determine a configuration for the aggregated user interface display. The computing device and the electronic pen are controlled to implement the configuration for the aggregated user interface display.

Abstract: Systems and methods for creating personalized digital music and digital visual media content to users of interactive, electronic entertainment platforms accessible through media devices include uploading digital visual media content to a host server, wherein the digital visual media content is assigned a first URL stored in the host server. At least one digital music content file is selected to be streamed from an external audio content provider, wherein the at least one digital music content file is personalized to the user. The selected digital music content file has a second URL stored in the host server. The digital visual media content is paired with the digital music content file to create paired digital music and live digital visual media content. The paired digital music and digital visual media content is played on the interactive, electronic entertainment platform by executing the first and second URLs simultaneously.

Abstract: A graphical user interface generates a control pane and a diagram pane. The control pane graphically depicts control objects that are each associated with a different viewpoint of digital products. The diagram pane displays graphical representations based upon a user-selected control object in the control pane. In use, a hierarchical view of digital products is presented in the diagram pane. A user can select a digital product from the hierarchical view, and then graphically navigate the digital product, whereby the graphical user interface presents aspects of the digital product, represented as nodes and interconnecting lines in different views defined by the viewpoint associated with user-selected control objects available in the control pane.

Abstract: A conversation-based computing system may include a back-end computing module, a design module, and an execution module. The design module may be configured to provide a graphical user interface through which different conversation models are defined in metadata. Each model may include a topic containing respective goals, where the goals are associated with respective conversation flows that define respective dialogs that directs conversations toward the associated goals. Each model may also define references to topic-specific content stored in the back-end module. The execution module may be configured to execute a particular model between the system and a front-end computing device and set up integration of a live agent into the model. Abstract: A user interface system and method are disclosed. The system comprises a controller, a data repository and an I/O unit. The user interface system is configured to cause, via the I/O unit, a user interface device of a user to provide a stimulus to the user, the user interface system is further configured to receive, from the user, data on the stimulus. In response to the stimulus and the data provided by the user on the stimulus, the user interface system is arranged to record, in the data repository, stimulus recognized by the user. The controller is operable to determine an optimized set of stimuli to be used by the user interface device in dependence on the stimuli recognized by the user, the optimized set matching the number of stimuli provided by the user interface device. The controller being arranged to communicate with the user interface device and configure the user interface device to use the optimized set of stimuli for its functions.
