    Abstract: A safety device for a gas distribution system includes a valve body and an upper casing attached to the valve body, the upper casing housing two springs. The two springs are separated by a casting tube. The two springs are attached to a movable diaphragm that is exposed to gas system pressure. The valve body also includes a cam mounted within the valve body. A limit switch is directly connected to the cam such that the limit switch moves directly in response to movement of the diaphragm. Additionally, a reset pin extends from the valve body and interacts with the cam such that the cam may be reset from a closed position to an open position by moving the reset pin.

    Abstract: An overpressure indicating disk apparatus for indicating an overpressure condition in a pressurized system includes a body having end portions, a bore, and a reverse buckling disk having an annular peripheral portion and a concave convex dome portion. The annular portion surrounds the dome. The first end portion is attached and in pressure communication to the pressurized system. The pressure in the bore is the same pressure as the pressure of the pressurized system. The annular peripheral portion is mounted to the body. An indicating component/ring is affixed to the body and disk. A central tab is mounted inside the ring. The concave side faces the central tab. The convex side faces the pressure inside the bore. When the pressure in the bore exceeds a preselected maximum pressure value, the disk reverses to engage and displace the central tab thereby indicating visually that an overpressure condition exists within the bore.

A method for using includes the following steps: preparing a pliable sealed pouch and forming on the sealed pouch an aperture smaller than suction areas of the first and second suction plates; running the hollow tube through the aperture and positioning the first and second suction plates at two sides of the sealed pouch to couple each other. Air can be sucked out from the sealed pouch for vacuuming or fresh-keeping gas can be injected into the sealed pouch to meet requirements.

When back pressure acts on the plate member, the reinforcements enable the plate member to distort substantially uniformly to maintain sealing contact with the valve seat.
