Abstract: A user interface (UI) of a device configuration application includes a collection view window of device representations with each representation including a screen image that is representative of the configuration state of the corresponding device. The device configuration application UI allows for searching the devices based on their configuration states, and for configuring the devices based on a set of configuration templates displayed in a collection view window. The UI allows for customizing the configuration templates in a device-independent manner, while allowing the user to add a set of configuration rules to each template. The device configuration application provides a method for updating the actual lock screen image of devices by displaying a device identifier on the lock screen. The format of such device identifier includes a device-identifying text string and/or machine-readable code.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for outputting audio according to a simulated listening environment. An example computing device for adjusting audio output in a physical listening environment includes a display configured to present a user interface, a communication interface coupled to one or more speakers, a processor, and a storage device storing instructions executable by the processor to generate the user interface for presentation via the display, receive user input to the user interface requesting one or more adjustments to the audio output in the physical listening environment, the one or more adjustments including a geometric parameter of a simulated listening environment, and transmit, via the communication interface, instructions for performing the one or more requested adjustments to audio output by the one or more speakers.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling an object may include a communicator configured to communicate with a first user terminal and a second user terminal, and a processor configured to control a first object corresponding to a first user in a virtual world to be displayed, configured to control the first object to move in the virtual world in response to a movement control of the first user, configured to randomly select at least one candidate object in response to a morphing control of the first user, and configured to change the first object to a second object when the first user selects the second object from the at least one candidate object. Methods for controlling an object are also provided.

Abstract: A computer-based investigative analysis system is disclosed in which a user can share results of an investigation with other users in a way that allows the sharing user to visualize how the results will be shared before they are shared. The results are shared in the form of a visual graph having nodes, edges, and other presentation elements. The nodes represent data objects that are the subject of the investigation and the edges represent connections between the data objects. The graph is shared in the form of an automatically generated redacted graph omitting nodes, edges, and presentation elements for which the other users do not have permission to view. Before sharing the graph, the sharing user is presented with a visualization of the automatically generated redacted graph providing the user an opportunity to confirm that sharing the redacted graph will not constitute an unauthorized information leakage.

Abstract: A system and method for managing real estate data using a mobile device, such as a tablet computer. The data is displayed in a manner that facilitates quick analysis suing a mobile device. User interfaces, processing, and other features provide a mobile user with information required to make intelligent decisions on real estate transactions. A tour can be constructed based on a subset of data returned as a result of a database query.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for creating a file activity feed for display on a user interface of a client computing device. In one aspect, data comprising a plurality of activities associated with a file may be obtained. A timestamp associated with a user identity of the file may be identified. One or more missed activities (e.g., those that occurred since a user was away from the file) may be identified from the plurality of activities based on the identified timestamp. It may be determined which missed activities of the one or more missed activities are relevant to a user associated with the user identity. The one or more missed activities determined to be relevant to the user associated with the user identity may be displayed within the file activity feed on the user interface of the client computing device.

Abstract: Described are techniques for rendering a user interface display of an application. Inputs are provided to a mapping engine. The inputs may include environmental inputs, profiles (including customized user maps), capabilities, storage management patterns or maps, and historical data. The mapping engine determines, in accordance with the inputs, a set of operations relevant to a user that interacts with a user interface of the application at a current point in time. The set of operations may define a subset of functionality of the application customized for the user. A set of user interface elements may be rendered where the user interface elements rendered correspond to the set of operations relevant to the user.

Abstract: Enhanced contextual menu technology is disclosed herein. In an implementation, when a user selects content in a user interface to an application, a context associated with the content is identified. A child menu in a contextual menu hierarchy is then selected based on the context and is rendered in the user interface. In some implementations, the child menu includes a navigational element that links back to a parent of the child menu in the contextual menu hierarchy.

Abstract: Implementations relate to audio output for panoramic images. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes causing a first portion of a panoramic image to be displayed by a display device of a user device, and receiving user input at the user device. Based on the user input, the method determines at least a part of a second portion of the panoramic image for display, the second portion associated with a first audio segment and a second audio segment, selects one of the first audio segment and the second audio segment, and causes a change in display of the panoramic image, where the change includes transitioning the display from the first portion to the second portion. The method causes output of the selected audio segment by an audio output device in communication with the user device.

Abstract: Techniques to provide a user interface usable by anyone including the visually impaired are disclosed. Embodiments include dividing a display area of an electronic device into a workspace comprising a plurality of sections; associating each section with a different category; displaying a pane in a section including information for the associated category; receiving a touch gesture on a pane for a section; and outputting an audio signal comprising information of the pane. Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, services, platforms, and methods are discussed herein that provide activity-based gallery views for communication platforms. In one example, a media gallery service is provided that determines contextual properties associated with media objects shared over communication sessions provided by a communication platform. Based at least on the contextual properties, the gallery service establishes internal sequencing among the media objects for each of the communication sessions, and presents an activity view in the user interface comprising a representation relating the communication sessions, with each of the communication sessions having associated media objects organized at least according to associated internal sequencing.

Abstract: A computer device displays some amount of an electronic document which includes an object. The object correlates with both a first and second portion of the electronic document. The first and second portions are different. The device detects a first input gesture which is located within a predetermined distance of the object. The first portion is determined to correlate with both the object and the first input gesture. In response to determining this correlation, the first portion is displayed. After displaying the first portion, the device detects a second input gesture. The second input gesture is within the predetermined distance of the same object. The second input gesture includes a different motion than the first input gesture. The device determines that the second portion correlates with both the object and the second gesture. In response to this determination, the second portion is displayed.

Abstract: An e-reader communication platform for integrating a chat function into an e-reader application is provided. The e-reader communication platform includes a processor programmed to upload, to a first client device associated with a first user, an e-book. The processor is also programmed to transmit a first IP chat message to a second client device associated with a second user to form a chat group including the first and second users. The processor is further programmed to receive a second IP chat message from the user interface of the e-reader application on the first client device, and embed the second IP chat message into the e-book to produce an embedded IP chat message. The embedded IP chat message is overlaid on the user interface of the e-reader application. The processor is further programmed to facilitate display of the embedded IP chat message to the chat group within the e-reader application.

In yet another example, collections of images are leveraged as part of content creation. In another example, data obtained from a content sharing service is leveraged to indicate suitability of images of a user for licensing as part of the service.

Abstract: An electronic device with a display, processor(s), and memory displays a video monitoring user interface including a video feed from a camera located remotely from the client device in a first region and an event timeline in a second region, the event timeline including event indicators for motion events previously detected by the camera. The electronic device detects a user input selecting a portion of the event timeline, where the selected portion of the event timeline includes a subset of the event indicators. In response to the user input, the electronic device causes generation of a time-lapse video clip of the selected portion of the event timeline. The electronic device displays the time-lapse video clip, where motion events corresponding to the subset of the event indicators are played at a slower speed than the remainder of the selected portion of the event timeline.

Abstract: A user terminal apparatus is provided.
