  • Patent number: 11822996
Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive door position information that indicates a position of a door of a room. The system may receive, in association with a read operation of an RFID reader, first tag information associated with a first RFID tag, wherein the first tag information is received via a first antenna of the RFID reader, and wherein the RFID reader is disposed within the room and a first directional range of the first antenna is directed toward the door. The system may determine, based on the first tag information being received via the first antenna, a location status of the first RFID tag according to the door position information. The system may perform, based on the location status, an action associated with indicating a location of the first RFID tag.

  • Patent number: 11796688
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a GNSS receiver may calculate protection levels for velocity and course over ground computed at a GNSS receiver. Specifically, the GNSS receiver may obtain Doppler measurements and variance measurements based on satellite signals received from at least five GNSS satellites. The GNSS receiver may utilize a least squares method to calculate the velocity states (e.g., x-velocity state, y-velocity state, and z-velocity state) and the clock bias for the GNSS receiver. The GNSS receiver may calculate the slope for each Doppler measurement on each velocity state. The GNSS receiver may then select the maximum slope for each velocity state and scale up the maximum slopes by a non-centrality parameter to calculate the protection level for each velocity state in the ECEF frame. The GNSS receiver may convert the velocity protection levels to NEU velocity protection levels to then calculate a protection level for course over ground.

  • Patent number: 11763664
Abstract: A programmable security system and method for protecting an item of merchandise includes a programming station, a programmable key and a security system. The programming station generates a security code and communicates the security code to a memory of the programmable key. The programmable key initially communicates the security code to a memory of the security device and subsequently operates the security device upon a matching of the security code in the memory of the security device with the security code in the memory of the programmable key. The programmable key may also transfer power via electrical contacts or inductive transfer from an internal battery to the security device to operate a lock mechanism. The security code may be communicated by wireless infrared (IR) systems, electrical contacts or inductive transfer. A timer inactivates the programmable key and/or the security device after a predetermine period of time.
