Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a system consistent with the disclosure. For instance, the system may comprise a data lake including information relating to an in-store activity of a customer and an online activity of the customer, a processing resource, and a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions executable by the processing resource to identify the in-store activity and the online activity of the customer, aggregate and store the in-store activity and the online activity of the customer in the data lake, reduce an amount of products in a product portfolio, compare purchases including in-store purchases and online purchases, and recommend a product of the plurality of products based on the comparison.

Abstract: Machine learning-based approaches are used to create instances or visualizations of content appearing within an object in an image. For example, a user may submit a request for a preview or visualization of content within an object or other media such as a glass crystal. A trained model can process the content to generate adjustment data or other data that can be used to control image blending operations. The adjustment data can be applied to the pixel values of the content to modify the content in order to enable a visualization of the content within an object. The image portion can be modified such that the object appears to “blend” with and appear within the object. Image transformation techniques can be used to project the modified content onto a representation of an object. Thereafter, a visualization or preview of the content within the representation of the object can be presented.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a digital cart management system for use by customers within a retail location. In use, a customer shops within a retail location and adds items to a digital cart as the customer is adding the items to a physical cart, e.g., at least in part by voice input. When the customer is finished shopping, the customer can checkout via a digital process, thereby bypassing point of sale devices at the retail location.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes providing a user interface that allows selection of a product attribute and in the alternative allows selection of a previously defined rule. When a product attribute is selected in the user interface, a rule under construction that describes what products are to appear on a retail webpage is altered based on the selected product attribute. When a previously-defined rule is selected in the user interface, the rule under construction is modified so that the rule under construction uses the selected rule.

Abstract: Techniques for reducing fraud are disclosed. A transaction request is received from a user to perform a transaction using an account. In one approach, a source icon is displayed prior to executing the request. The source icon includes a graphical representation of an owner of the account. In another approach, at least one of a photograph and a voice of the user is recorded prior to executing the request. In a third approach, the user is informed that at least one of a photograph, a voice print, and location data will be taken prior to executing the transaction request.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems and methods that facilitate purchase of objects from merchants. For example, a user may browse a website available from an object management service and identify objects that they desire to purchase. Rather than having to locate the seller of those objects to make a purchase, the implementations described herein facilitate a connection between the user and the merchant so that the merchant's sales are increased and the user is provided an efficient and safe shopping experience.

Abstract: A method for providing economic information based on geographic parameters that includes providing a map for display on a device, receiving a user-defined area on the map, and providing data relating to the user-defined area. Obtaining the relevant information or data about a particular geographic region frequently involves consulting a plurality of sources. The current method is much more efficient and cost effective to retrieve from fewer sources and provide the information in a quick and easy to comprehend format.

Abstract: Systems and methods for user personalization and recommendation schemes that are matched to a user profile and provide a highly personalized, interactive experience for the user on an entertainment platform are disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, the highly personalized and interactive experience is facilitated through information from the user profile comprised of user-inputted information, historical data, and outputs from machine learning engines. In another aspect of the invention, the system is capable of outputting the highly-personalized and interactive recommendations onto a viewing screen while media content is continuously streaming on the same viewing screen.

Abstract: Techniques for implementing an improved user interface for efficiently browsing through and comparing digital content items are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method comprises: receiving a request for one or more additional graphical widgets indicating at least one of a plurality of graphical widgets selected by a user for concurrent display with the additional graphical widget(s), the request also indicating at least one attribute value for each one of the at least one of the plurality of graphical widgets, with at least one attribute value having been selected by the user for use in determining the additional graphical widget(s). The additional graphical widget(s) may be determined from amongst a plurality of additional graphical widgets based on the attribute value(s) indicated by the request, and then displayed concurrently on the computing device along with the graphical widget(s) selected by the user for concurrent display with the additional graphical widget(s).

Abstract: Embodiments of a system as described herein may receive financial institution product information from a plurality of financial institutions distributed across a computing network. The system may also receive data from the plurality of financial institutions distributed across the computer network and create or update an ontology. A relevance score may be generated for a set of financial institution products which may, in conjunction with a campaign definition provided by a financial institution administrator, be used to associate users with a list of campaigns which may be stored as campaign data. An online banking application at a user device may request campaign data for a user. In response, the system may return campaign data for the user to the online banking application. Using the campaign data, the online banking application may select one or more products to recommend to the user and display content for the selected products on the user device.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for recommending hardware configuration changes using a user satisfaction rating. One method comprises obtaining usage data indicating user activity for users on computing devices; generating a user profile for each user; clustering the users into user clusters based on the user profiles; determining, for a given user cluster, a satisfaction score for each user in the given user cluster based on the obtained usage data for each user on the computing device; providing suggested hardware upgrades for the computing device of a given user in the given user cluster, wherein the given user is selected based on a lower corresponding satisfaction score relative to the satisfaction scores of other users in the given cluster, and wherein the one or more suggested hardware upgrades are based on hardware configurations of other users in the given cluster having a higher corresponding satisfaction score.

The server can receive a user arrival notification that indicates a user has arrived to pick up purchased goods. The server can transmit a scan initiation request to a remote terminal that causes the remote terminal to scan at least one network. The server can receive scan data for the scanned network from the remote terminal indicating, for example, a signal strength of that network. The server can determine a current wait time based on the received scan data for the scanned network, and can transmit the current wait time to the remote terminal.

Abstract: A system using a mobile device and computing device connected to a network includes an item list database containing information relating to gift items of interest, and a merchant database containing information on merchant geolocations and inventories. The mobile device uses geolocation identification software utilizing GPS technology to pinpoint the mobile device's geolocation. The computing device compares the mobile device's geolocation to the merchant geolocations and compares the merchant inventories with the items of interest. If a merchant located within a threshold proximity of the mobile device has as item of interest in its inventory, the computing device sends an alert over the network to the mobile device indicating information relating to the merchant and item of interest offered for sale.

The method may also include accessing a database to determine a first height of products of the first product type and a second height of products of the second product type, and determining a position for placing a camera configured to capture images of at least a portion of the store shelf by analyzing the location of the store shelf, the first coverage parameter, the second coverage parameter, the first height, and the second height. The method may further include providing, to a user interface of a user device, information relating to the determined position of the camera.
